#NoMoreBullying Poem

You see that girl, walking down the hall, glasses askew, no one's ever thought she was beautiful, if only they knew.

You see that boy, walking towards the Gym, carrying a protractor. He loves math, but they don't think much of him; he doesn't mind, it's an education that he's after.

The girl isn't popular, but she doesn't seek that. She doesn't get what clicks are for, but knows she will always be fat.

The boy loves his books, and hopes to go to college. Beneath his acne, he's got good looks, but he searches for more knowledge.

Can they hope to be something more? Than just the geeks who like to learn? Can they understand what friends are for? It seems like any amount of respect they get, they have to earn.

So don't presume you know them, or what they are about. Don't seek to condemn, and send them towards another route.

They are people, too. Regardless of their looks or intelligence. They are someone not like you. We are all different.

So revel in that, which is unique. A mind full of well-roundedness, and a quirky personality that branches out everywhere, and isn't flat. Normal is fine and good, but weird is what we seek.

These creative beings, who each have their talents, be it writing, Art, lyrics, music or whatever else. Find comfort in the originality these people bring, and let your spirit shine, too, and let your hate decrease...to nothing...but genuine care for others. Say it with us, everyone...
