A thinly vieled democracy

I am afraid the whole world is laughing at the leader of our nation, Mr Harper. It makes me sad presently that our electoral system is broken and failing many people in this vast land of Canada. If he is elected again I feel there will be people who will retaliate against his right wing governance.

Deep dissatisfaction is arising and the frustration of the people will erupt. If the will of the people cannot be exacted through a leader and their government, within a shadow of a thinly veiled democracy, it will find its way beyond the broken system, to expression.

We can still speak of these things because we hold this fragile democracy, it rests with the common people, for now.
