Ali's Grandmother Written by Aqsa

Ali was a boy who is Muslim . Ali had a grandmother who was very sick and was now in the hospital. His parents were in such tension they couldn't even think properly . Ali and his family sat at the dinner table very sad and quiet it was going to be a long dinner . No one touched there dinner when finally his dad said a prayer "may our mother , friend and grandmother have peace or stop suffering". Ali remembered when he was four his grandmother had fun talking and playing together and not being sick. He remembered when everything was fine and normal . Suddenly the phone rang brring everyone looked at the phone " well get it mom dad " Ali said, his dad picked up the phone and suddenly his face fell he had tears in his eyes "what happened ? " Ali's mom asked eagerly as soon as Ali's dad hung up . " Mom had a heart attack " Ali's dad said weakly " did she survive it ? " Ali's mom asked .Ali suddenly felt very sad and lonely . "She did well that's the good news but she still is very sick " a sigh of relief wept over the table but they all were sad. Ali's family was taking a trip to the forest of remembrance Ali stayed up all night and packed . Once morning time came Ali and his family set off for the trip Ali saw woods that reminded him of the woods that he and his grandmother strolled through . Ali saw meadows were he used to pick flowers for his grandmother and he saw a lake were he sat with his grandmother and he told her secrets a tear rolled down his cheek Ali really missed his grandmother . Finally the car jerked to a stop as they climbed out of the car and went to their hotel room . First they would go to the forest of remembrance then they would visit Ali's grandmother in the hospital. Once they arrived at the forest Ali's parents set a meeting spot and Ali ran off . Ali remembered a lot about his grandmother he remembered how peaceful she was it was very happy days now these days were very depressing . Ali met up with his parents and they went off to the hospital. When they arrived Ali was so excited to see his grandmother he rushed to his grandmas room. Ali sat down beside his grandma "Ali " Ali's grandma said weakly . "Grandma I missed you so much " " Ali I know this May upset you but tell me your last secret " . "Grandma " Ali said while tears were dripping down his cheek . "Here it is I went to the forest of remembrance I remembered everything about you I hope you won't forget me Ali said . "I won't " suddenly Ali's grandma closed her eyes and left the world tears started dripping down Ali's cheek . Ali said the prayer , kissed his grandma on the cheek and left with his family to the hotel . Ali's grandma was the first person to be buried in the forest of remembrance .
