The days I can't stay strong any longer I'll reach to you,

You see me as your child and that's something you'll always do,

My mistakes are a reflection of me growing closer to you

Sometimes I stand back in question but I'll always trust your moves,

You make my heart beat so I owe you everything

I'm doing my best to make sure people can hear you when I sing,

I'll always have you, even when I have not one material thing,

And when I'm hard on myself you'll bring out the best in me,

You tested me, at my lowest

Gave me strength to rise to the challenge,

Through you I see clarity

And when the walls are closing in you're the outlet,

And when I'm angry you calm the stimulation and introduce the relaxant,

Reminding me life is not a movie and I'm not an actress,

And I'm wasting real time being mad for silly reasons

I exhale, you enter my mind and you remind me what to believe in

This is my letter to you, God I will love you forever

And when I miss you I'll just reread this letter,

Walking away from temptation and heading to the better

I call this prayer Spero, hope it keeps me together.
