The walking world

Walk, ride, run, roll, or just stroll.

Whatever you do, don't drive.

Stay on the sidewalk, rejoice from the curb,

since this is where the view is best.

It's a common misunderstanding

that there ever existed a best seat in the house,

since the highest vantage point

is always a stance.

So stand tall, and meet your day face to the wind,

One step at a time.

Don't jump the gun,

Take your time to take in the day.

Whatever you do, don't slouch or slump

or meld into a lump.

Take in the sound and the feel of the ground

because the view from here is worth the journey.
