What Meditation HasTaught Me

By: Kasey Easter

1. An Inwards Direction

I think of numbers. Numbers can always be infinitely small, because they can always be divided in half! Now once you take this and think of space. You realize an inch (an increment of space) can be infinitely divided in half. There for we see that space goes down infinitely in an inward direction.

2. An Outwards Direction

Space above you. The endless expanse of the universe above you. In numbers it's timing 2x2 infinitely. Things can always be bigger! Space...Forever.

3. The two directions.

So inside myself I can think about how infinitely small the space between my chest and back can be, if divided. Surly if space can go inwards infinitely, that means there is infinite space inside all parts of my own existing space. So now inward space infinitely in reverse would be infinite outwards space. So they are connected! One flowing direction for dimensions to be stacked on top of each other. Small to big, and big to small. Endlessly.

4. Putting it together

In an endless universe, that spans inwards infinitely, and out wards, infinitely. I realize that there is an infinite possibility of different things to be created. Like myself, being created by the universe an infinite number of times. Same for others! And in putting it together I have realized the universe is an all omnipotent organism. A god of infinite creation. No need to fear death, Religion being unnecessary. For we are one part, to an entire whole. We are one.
