Cult of a killer episode 1: parasite

It’s the year 2016 a year after the murders of "Jeffry woods" the town of Mandeville has been more or less depressive from my viewing. Parents nowadays prefer to keep their kids away from any media that’s violent of any form in that nature which I get it it’s hard to go back to normal after that disturbing incident with that family. The air still hangs heavy with the memory of it all. Although there’s still some left outliers a lot of "edgy teens" seem to idolize him in some sort of way I think that’s just a way to cope with them being Incesl’s I swear a lot of kids out here trying to be cool by being into his whole story. But that doesn’t matter it’s just how I see things my name is Maxwell Collins and I’ve lived in this town my whole life. I’m 17 now with one sister no mom or dad though but that doesn’t matter right now. Ever since those murders it’s seemed like a influence has come over the town with the kids and the adults. The adults and parents have been more paranoid about kids hell I’ve even been seeing those "it’s 10 PM do you know where your kids are at…?" commercials more frequently on the local channels. It's almost as if the fear of the past has seeped into the very bones of Mandeville. The teens on the other hand have been getting more rebellious although there’s been a lot of disappearances of teens just… gone POOF no traces of where they could be. And murders have been happening a lot more but with the negligence of the police in this town and the mayor being as useful as a rock against a bear. No effort or change has happened to improve the situation. People constantly demanding answers of how kids are randomly disappearing. Who’s doing these killings and so much more. But I know what it is, it’s a cult around Jeff I was a victim of them… well my mom and dad we’re

(Flashback: September 15th 2015)

"Max honey dinner’s almost ready!" His mom would say, it was a cold day winter had already set in she was making some warm chili for the kids as she awaited her husband to come home "coming mom" Max would say with a bit of tiredness in his voice "what’s wrong sweetie?" She would say with a bit of concern she was always on top of her kids when it came to how they feel and or any problems as she only wanted the best for them "it’s nothing really serious mom just I haven’t got the best of sleep" he would say slightly shrugging off the question as he slumped into the chair. "Well, try to rest a bit after dinner," she advised. "Mhm" he agreed "but why haven’t you been getting any good sleep…?" She would say with a little bit of concern "I don’t know I’ve been kinda having nightmares about that kid I knew… you know Jeff" he would reply, his voice trailing off with unease. "That kid who butchered his parents…?" She exclaimed "yea he was a little bit off the day before that. He even showed me a weird fanfiction about himself where he would get into a gun fight with his bullies on his birthday or something like that" his mom would now say "well I always knew that boy had some sort of issues I blame it on his parents even everybody around them already knew his parents were pieces of shit… god they were unbearable to talk too" she expressed with a mix of frustration and sympathy. "Anyways can you get your little sister please?" She said going back to a sweet tone "yea sure" he complied, getting up from the chair and heading towards the staircase. He would go up stairs heading to his younger sister’s room. Nina Collins at the time she never really had a good relationship with their father James Collins. Nina was more shut in she was a bit more distant when she entered her teenage hood the only person she would really open up to was max. Nobody really knew if it was depression or something else going on with her but she would be into some concerning stuff in her maturity. Max knocked gently on her door "Yo Nina?" the room was mostly dark except a computer that sat in the middle of the room casting an eerie glow over her face. Nina looked up from her screen, headphones dangling around her neck. "Hey, Max," she replied, her voice distant. "What's up?" Max looked a little bit curious before he would speak "I was gonna say that dinner’s ready but what are you doing with the lights off in here?" Nina shrugged, her eyes flicking back to the computer screen. "Nothing just looking into more Jeff stuff…" max would sigh before speaking again "Nina, you know Dad doesn't want you getting into that kind of stuff," he said softly, trying to mask his concern. "Yea and dad barely is home most of the time… he’s probably fucking that slut secretary that he’s always a little to close too" a shocked expression would come across max’s face "you can’t say that about dad!?" Nina looked up at max again "it’s the truth but anyways I’ll be down in a minute… and also if you can tell mo-" a scream would be heard from downstairs. Max would rush down in a hurry to see what was happening "MOM!?" he would say in a panic. As he got down he would see his mom looking out the window at the corpse of his dead dad in the driveway. Nina would also soon run downstairs to see what was happening as well but before any of them can say anything a few people with mask’s would walk in…
