I'm a Stranger to this path but I've been here so many times

Life's like an open field filled with games

Men crying foul aren't ashamed

My hope was on you but you might have guessed I'm in love with my recklessness

And the evil that seems to have won

I can understand the cost that my savior paid

I can understand how he can make me Unafraid

Time is sure flying and the days seem so short

Nothing feels like a blessing and I feel so gone

But if I have to give up Christ to feel alive then my life is a lie

If the truth I always seek doesn't matter to me now will I ever find a home

Aimlessly wandering is for the blind

But I see hope in His truth and the truth I seek is the only hope I see

No matter who I'm with the truth I pursue is not there and I feel shallow and destitute

Yet loneliness is not my path

The hope I've known is everlasting and full

And so is each breath drawn in faith

The foundation of every mans happiness is in his belief of what is true

But God's truth is everlasting,so I must appear to the world in my flesh to die

All else is lies

Here is my depression in regression

Here is my sin laid bare

Here is my heart laughing

Here is my soul far from despair

Because the truth in my heart took flight
