The Hunger Games

Chapter 3:

It was morning when I woke up for the fifth time. Nightmares came from everyplace. I quickly got ready, and ran downstairs for breakfast.

The new president had maids as servants instead of avoxes, and asighned us one.

She was to cook for us and clean our penthouse.

We ate a large plate of bacon and small squared fruits.

Today was the day that we had to meet the teens in private. Peeta suggested we do it in Tigris’s shop.

Since we know it wasn’t bugged last time we were there for cover.

I agreed and we left shortly after to go to he shop.Hamitch got up with there mentors to get them to come.

We are going to start with district one. The girl tribute was Star Parker,and the boy tribute was Marshall Knots. District one and two always names there kids weird names.

Peeta was sitting in the chairs next to me. I looked them both in the eye and said,”We want to make sure all of the tributes make it back alive,and want to put an end to the games once and for all” I said.

They stared for a while and said, “We want to help you, and since we are both sixteen we can fight fairly well. We can help you take care of the other teens and defend you.”

This has gone better than I imagined. I answer back with”Thank you”.

They nod and leave. It’s now district two turn.

District 2 walks in.They sit in the seats in front of us and watch us quietly.

Me and Peeta are going to have to do this for a week instead of going to training then it’s going to be the chariot ride, and then we have another week of training that we are going to. After that is the interview with a new host. Then the next day is the game.

Peeta speaks to them first and says what are plan is.

I ask them what their name is,and they say, “ I’m Arlo Spear and I’m fourteen and this is my twin brother Axel.”

Hi ! Nice to meet you” I say.

”We would love if we could help you and all get out alive, and stop the games for good” they say.

“ That’s our plan” I say. They then take off which leaves only one more district for today. Then I can leave, go to the penthouse, eat a nice dinner with Peeta and Hamitch, then go to bed.

District 3 walks in and sit down. I ask what their names are and the girl said,”Ariana and this is the male tribute Apollo”

He gives me a warm smile, and I tell them the plan.

They respond with”Sure we would love it if everyone could make it out alive.”

All of the the tributes you could tell were upset about it and wanted to end it forever. They got up and left.

Today was a very good day for allies and now we have six. We leave, thank Tigris, and go to our penthouse. We have a nice meal. Me and Peeta talks about the events of the day, and go sit on the couch to relax . Hamitch joins us ,and we joke around for a while. We then get ready for bed,fall asleep fast, and have nightmares.
