Bounty hunter:SW
The rain streaked down with a steady rumble. The same way it had done all day. The same way it had done all week. The constant drone adding to the back ground of everything else that was life on this miserable plant. He looked out into the damp darkness with a glazed stair. Nothing had come out of there, nothing ever odd and for him to be here was just a waist of his time. Though atleast he was getting paid well to waist his time. Letting out a long sigh he rubbed his eyes. Only a few more hours and he could rest. He wondered when that half wit of a gang leader would stop being such a coward. He had been locked down in that bunker for weeks now. Scared of his own shadow. Frack only knows who he crossed to be this scared. Some say the heard him babble that Mandalorians had been sent after him. That made him chuckle. Which didn't help him see the armored hand that reached thew the darkness and grab him covering his mouth. Or the knife that was then driven into his heart. As he fell the armored form knelt low not moving. Waiting for a reaction that, after several minuets, never came. "In position" **** He was pacing again, back and forth back and forth. It was a wonder that he hadn't dug a trench in the floor with his foot steps. The room was stuffy. It was always stuffy with as far down as it was. The whisper of air being cycled in and out was the only sound besides his foot steps. "How long has it been?" He asked irritably. "Two hours" "What!? No word at all for two hours?" "Yes..." "I swear if this is just those slacker gangers falling asleep, I will skin them all." The radio crackled to life with a scream of sound. "Send help!! There must be hundreds of them they are kill-" the sound cut out. What blood was left in his face drained very fast. "Hundreds....where did they get Hundreds..." His thoughts was punctuated with the room rumbling to an explosion. They moved as one down the tight hallways of the bunker complex. Two armored forms bathed in the red emergency lighting. All other lighting came from laser fire that raced to meet them, and the tight bursts the two warriors let fly in response. Blurs of reds, oranges, greens, and blues whipped back and forth along with sparks of missed shots. The defenders fired all they could at them but the two warriors advanced all the same. There two blaster tracked back and forth with tight trained shots one never hitting the same target as the other. Metering death out in complete silence as they moved steadily down the hallway. Inside there helmits target data flowed by, the gloom of the red light made bright infrared, the burst of momentary thermal left the defenders no place to hide. As the laser fire began to ebb one warrior spun on his heel the heavy blaster he carried spraying into the gloom and shredding threw a group of defenders as they tried to ambush the attacking warriors from behind. Then stillness took hold. The only sound was the distant wail of a klaxon. The warriors began to move once more, death and ozone hung heavy in the air. They had memorized the layout of the bunker system but they had not expected the amount of man power. However they had not come this far to fail. As one they moved down the hallway coming to a elevator, it was the end of the complex and most likely the only way to there quarry. It was also a trap. With a deliberate motion the two warriors looked up at a video eye that looked down at the making sure the operator got a good look at who they where before shooting the camera out. "Mandalorians..." The one word caused his entire system to run cod as he looked at the blank armored faces before the camera was shot out. What blood was left on his face drained as fast as the temperature in the room. Everyone that was there knew they where dead men. "It's alright...they can't get down here...we will be safe..." He said frantically to himself mostly. Above them the warriors stood at the elevator door, looking it over there heads moving in muted conversation before nodding. One reached around his belt and took off the hit of lightsaber. Not his Ofcorase but part of a collection of grizzly prizes from past hunts. Hitting the activation switch the beam shot form with a screech and continues hum. He plunged it threw the door and worked it slowly in a man sized circle. The second warrior silently prepared a satchel that of the most part looked completely ordinary. With the exception of a small timer. Once the door was cut thew a time was set and the sachel nonchalantly tossed in. **** A thud came from the shaft of the elevator and all at once breathing in the room stopped as all eyes turned toward the door. Nothing happened. Several of the men began to look at each other. Still nothing happened. With blasters at the ready a group of four guards moved towards the doors. All was still. They entered the code to open the door. The timer hit zero. All at once the room seemed to desentergrate with light and sound, as the elevator blew out with a great explosion that shook the entire bunker. On pillars of fire the two warriors descended. There was no opposition as they strode into the destroyed room. Quick shots from there blasters ended the screams of any that where left alive. Until they found the man that they hunted. Blood leaked from his ears and leaked visibly from several shrapnel wounds. With effort he looked into the blank helmet of the warriors. "Wh...wh...why..." He managed after a moment. There was a pause. A blaster leveled at his face. "It's just business" came the audio reply, then the end of the hunt in the form of a sharp laser blast.
