First Meeting (Poem)

When you look for me...if you look, behold me right beside you.

All is as it should be, our hands have already shook, do I have to say this often? I don't mind. You're my dream come true. Around you, my heart does soften. You're who I've been waiting to find.

Try as I might, to find a way to be with you, my love, even during the time we are apart, each night is a good night, each battle we fight separately, is a little less tough.

Knowing I have you, makes all the difference in this world, no one can undo...our love is unfurled...indestructible.

Your smile makes my heart glad.

Your tears make me also sad.

So I will try my best to keep the smile on your face. I'll envision each and every embrace that I can't wait for us to share.

I'll be thankful for you during every prayer.

My eyes won't sadden while we are apart, because I understand, and I know you do, too, that the bond of our hearts...is great, amazing and true. Each day we live, I'll say I love you, and each message I'll give, will let you know: I am yours, and baby, you are mine, this love defies space, distance, and even time.

I fervently believe, one day we'll be together, then I can be by your side, and have you by mine, for the rest of every forever.
