The Beach of Time

The Beach of Time is just the same as any other beach. Blue waves crash on the sandy shores. Tides move in and out. Little shells are scattered all across the water’s edge. Shells of blue and red, green and yellow, brown and orange. Clouds of white fill the great blue sky. On the Beach of Time you walk alone. You listen to the waves of retrospection crash. The Sands of Time move and separate as your feet walk on and on and on along its beautiful shore. The bright yellowish orange sun is along the horizon now. Leftover dreams hang in the colorful sky as the sunsets. Colors of purple and pink along with yellow and orange flood the sky as if they were painted so long ago. As you grow tired of walking through the Beach of Time you stop to sit and rest your feet. The water creeps closer like a long forgotten friend. Slowly rising and falling, wondering if it was truly you. The waves have been waiting to meet you. Water begins to touch you, surround you. Finally, your body is immersed in its calming waves. The longing is ending as the sun finally sets on the Beach of Time.
