Oakdale

Chapter 1

Peter’s hands were shaking, as he tried to hold his phone. He glanced up at his expression, his eye was swollen shut as a bruise was clear on his face. It hurt so much, he wanted to cry. But he was almost frozen in fear. His brown hair was looking longer than he’d like. Even his face albeit currently swollen was thinner than he’d like.

His finger shook as he jabbed his Papa’s contact on his phone. He wouldn’t call his Dad, his Dad would be mad.

Papa would understand, he would be calm. Peter called and felt himself slumping against the door. He listened for noise out in the apartment. But he’d already gone. Mario had probably gone to the bar to drink, he’d been gone for a few hours easily. At least Peter would have time to clean up.

His Papa would be at work, and as he called he heard the familiar recording of his Grandpa. “Welcome to Evan’s and Son’s Mechanics. We’re busy right now fixing your cars. Hold the line and we’ll be right with you.” His Papa refused to erase it, and Peter had caught him a few times calling the work number just to hear his voice.

He didn’t realise how much he missed home.

“Welcome to Evan’s and son’s Mechanic, how can we service you.”

“Papa…” Peter’s voice croaked out, it came out drier than he thought. He should drink more water.

“Peter?” Papa’s voice said firmly. He could hear the familiar noise of his Dad’s shop in the background. The warm blanket of home feeling so distant.

“He…” Peter whimpered and felt the pain course up his cheek. It was his own fault, he deserved it. But he knew he should say it. “He hit me…”

“He did fucking what?” Dad’s voice cut in, the anger clear in his tone.

Peter felt his stomach drop out, “He didn’t mean to. It was an accident, I was being a bit of a brat. I deserved it…I shouldn’t have called” Peter stammered out quickly and defensively. He was making excuses again. But it was his fault wasn’t it? It usually was.

“Peter, don’t hang up” Papa said calmly. “No one who loves you would lay a hand on you.”

Peter found himself nodding automatically.

“I’m going to fucking ring that idiots neck” Dad raged somewhere else in the room.

Papa sighed, “Carter you’re not helping.”

“Papa. I’m sorry” Peter murmured.

“Nothing to be sorry over. Is he there?”

“No. He went out to drink” Peter said, “I’m alone. I’m supposed to organise dinner for when he gets back. He’ll be mad if I don’t, I don’t want to anger him more.”

“Okay…” Papa paused. “I’ll tell you what we’re going to do.”

“Papa. I’ll be okay” Peter answered lying. “I just… I just needed to hear your voice. I think.”

“Peter” Papa said calmly. “You’re going to pack a bag, and leave and get in a cab. Take it to a restaurant and go have a meal. Your Dad will meet you there and take you home.”

“Okay” Peter replied still a little dazed.

“Repeat what I said” Papa asked.

“Pack….a bag. Le..leave…and get in a cab. Go to a restaurant and wait for Dad there..”

“We won’t leave you alone.”

“Right. I’m bloody leaving and bringing a bat” Dad snapped.

“Carter. Please just get Peter” Papa said firmly.

“What about his schooling.”

Peter felt shame swelling in his stomach, “I…dropped out.”

There was a long pregnant pause.

“May-maybe I should stay” Peter murmured apologetically.

“I’m coming to get you. You did nothing wrong. Am I clear?” Dad said forcefully.

“Yes..” Peter said ashamed.

“Chris you’re not helping” Papa said. “Peter hang up and go pack your bag. You won’t be coming back” he said.

“Bye Papa. I love you” Peter said.

“I love you too, Peter.”

Peter packed, he ignored the pain in his cheek and the way his eyes kept welling up with tears as he shoved what he could into a suitcase. He felt so hungry, the hollow feeling in his stomach. As the firm voice of his Mario cut through in his mind reminding him. “I don’t fuck fat boys. Eat less, and you’ll get Master’s dick.”

Eveything fitted in his bag, and he felt a little hollow knowing how little he affected his boyfriend… ex boyfriend’s apartment. He locked the door behind him and shoved the key back under the door. And fled, he took a taxi to a shake shack.

Peter sat at a table in the corner, he ordered a couple of soda waters. Mostly to stop the nagging guilt he felt about waiting.

Dad arrived an hour later, he lumbered over. His frown deepening with every step, the lines on his face becoming more pronounced as he loomed over Peter. “Come here” Dad said as he heaved Peter into his embrace. His heavy gut that had long since out ran the possibility of it being a beer gut, and had become a testament to his gluttony.

Peter felt overwhelmed by the familiarity of his Dad’s musk. The sound of his breathing, and the tightness of his embrace. Peter felt his knees give out.

“Your safe” Dad said holding him. “He’s never coming near you.”

Peter began to sob as he broke down in tears.

Dad held him for a long time, comforting him with his tight embrace. Dad made sure they ate before he drove them home.

“Your so damn thin, your practically starved” he muttered annoyed. Peter could tell he was trying to keep his anger in check. Dad ordered more for the road as they got in his battered pickup truck. “Get in, eat this. It’ll help.”

“Nobody fucks fatboys” Peter murmured.

Dad stopped and squeezed Peter’s shoulders. “Bullshit. You’d be married with a kid like your Papa by 21 if you’d stayed. One of those soldier boys would have taken one look and bred you quick smart.”

Peter felt his heart quicken at the thought, of having children. The dream of that had died when his ex repeatedly insisted that he’d never have a kid.

“Let’s get you home. Where you belong” Dad said seeing the change in Peter’s expression.

Peter struggled to eat the extra food, his stomach capacity had shrunk considerably. His Dad kept his hand on Peter’s knee, as if he feared he would disappear. He barely spoke focusing on the road ahead, the anger bubbling under the surface. Peter knew his Dad could always be angered easily, but his Papa kept him tempered. His Dad had never turned his anger on Peter or his brother. He protected them, or he used to.

Peter wondered if his Dad had felt like he failed.

“Did you love him?” Dad asked when they were almost home. The familiar sights of route 75 whizzing by.

“I did love Mario… at first..” Peter murmured. “He was firm and would tell me all these things… then I wasn’t good enough anymore.”

“Bastard” Dad swore.

Peter didn’t want to talk about it anymore. He felt ashamed he’d fallen so hard for the wrong guy.

“Has much changed?” Peter asked changing topic.

“Your Papa is the same as ever. Your brother has grown a foot wider” Dad grinned.

Peter rolled his eyes, “I meant the town.”

“We have a couple of new Deputies, as Maxim retired. Everything else is the same as ever.”

Peter nodded, “Your Papa will be glad to have you home. It’s been a while since you visited.”

“Mario.. didn’t like when I left” Peter murmured.

Dad sighed, “He really smothered the fire in you.”

Silence fell over the rest of the journey and Peter fell asleep exhaustion washing over him. He woke to his dad gently shaking him awake, “Peter. You’re home.”

“Mhmm?” He groaned struggling to waken. He felt his Dad heave him out of the car. The cold night air and the familiar sound of crickets. He was home.

The Oakdale Trailer Park greeted him warmly, with the familiar dim lights and the dozen trailers that waited beyond the gates. The road that led towards the camp sites, where tourists would stay. But The family home was a reassuring sight, the two story home, with its blue siding and front porch.

“Home..” Peter murmured.

Dad grabbed Peter’s bag from the back of the truck, and carried it up to the front door.

“Come on, your old room is still waiting for you?”

“Heath, didn’t take it?”

“No. We kept it for you” Dad smiled, as he pushed his key in the door. “I love you Peter.”

“Thanks for rescuing me” Peter murmured.

“I’d do again in a heartbeat kiddo.”

“Peter!” Papa stood in the doorway. A look relief flooding his face. Papa was a foot shorter than his Dad, with straight blonde hair. Plump features and a pair of naturally swollen lips. His belly huge big and round, with a familiar softness that always made for the best cuddles. “Look at you” he muttered.

Peter embraced his Papa, he pressed in expecting to sink into his belly. It was firmer than normal. He stoked it with his hand, sure enough it felt a little firm under the soft flesh.

Peter looked up at his Papa and he gave a wry smile, “You picked up on that quickly.”

“Picked up on what?” Dad said stepping onto the porch.

“I’m pregnant” Papa smiled, “You and your brother hadn’t noticed. I was tempted to see how long it would take.”

“Your what?” Dad said tenderly his eyes widening.

“I had the twelve week scan, on Monday. Twin boys” Papa smiled, as he stroked Peter’s head holding him tightly.

“Oh fuck” Dad swore in wonder.

“Your Dad and I got a little too drunk during the last grizzly grow off.”

“That hangover lasted days” Dad groaned. “It’s really twins?”

“Yeah. Dr Morrison confirmed” Papa said a little pleased.

“Fuck” Dad repeated.

“Uhh” Peter said grimacing when he noticed his Dad’s erection visible.

Papa chuckled, “He’s been wanting more kids since your brother was born. Let’s get you inside and settled. Have you eaten..and don’t start on him Carter.”

“He’s rail thin” Dad protested as he shoved a hand down his trousers to adjust his erection.

Home looked exactly the same as they walked into the living room. Papa led Peter up to his old room, nothing had really changed. Even his bed still had the same faded stickers he’d put on as a kid. The posters on the wall.

“We did change your mattress” Papa said wryly. “The stain was very noticeable.

Peter groaned internally.

“Do you want any food? You can say no” Papa said.

“No” Peter said sitting on the side of the bed. He sighed, “I’m sorry I disappointed you.”

Papa frowned and lumbered over, the bed creaked as he sat. “You have never been a disappointment. If anyone failed, your Dad and I did. We should have noticed something was wrong earlier” he gently turned Peter’s face so he could examine the bruise. “I’ll get you something tomorrow for the bruise.”

“I didn’t want to worry you. He..was my first real relationship. I just thought..” Peter trailed off.

“I know. But a real man, will protect you and love you. He should never make you feel inferior” Papa said honestly. “And if you do like that in bedroom, he’ll be there to care for you afterward.”

Peter nodded, the shock of the day was wearing off, and he started to cry again. Papa just hugged him tightly.

“Let it out” Papa reassured rubbing his back tenderly.

Slow lumbering filled the corridor outside his room. As overfed young man filled the doorway. His fat spherical belly spilling over his sweatpants. “Peter?” Heath muttered confused, chocolate stains on the side of his lips.

“Peter’s come home. Go back to bed. And I mean bed, I will switch off the modem again” Papa warned.

“Yeah. Yeah” Heath grunted rubbing his gut.

“Woah” Peter muttered surprised.

“Yeah. He’s had a growth spurt” Papa said wryly. “I’ll tell you later” he said kissing Peter’s forehead gently.

His brother patted his gut proudly, “Have you seen you and Dad.”

“Alright. Back to bed” Papa said firmly shooing him out of the room. “Do you want me to stay with you?”

“I’ll be okay” Peter nodded honestly.

“See you in the morning” Papa smiled as he shut the door.

Peter sighed and looked around his old room. It felt good to be home. He felt a guilty pang about not finishing culinary school. Before a yawn overcame him and he went to bed.

Chapter 2

Leon

One Year ago…

“Oakdale is the middle of nowhere?” Leon Knight asked his Dad.

“It’s an hour and a half out of Seattle. You could be in the Midwest” Dad grinned. Chris Knight was in his fifties, and his waistline like most men his age showed it. His gut was fat stretched out his shirt bulging out considerably, his thighs jiggled intensely. And his once boyish parted hair was now white and starting to fall out. He’d aged considerably since Papa had passed away.

“It’s just as bad” Leon sighed.

“It’s a nice town, I grew up there” Dad pointed out. “Your Uncles have a house there.”

“Sure but you left” Leon muttered.

Dad sighed and looked over at Leon, “I went to the police academy, and after I graduated I met your papa. I didn’t need to go back.”

“So why does this feel like a punishment for me?” Leon muttered.

“What happened wasn’t your fault. We all burn out” Dad reassured, “This way you can be an officer of the law.”

“It’s probably not a good a thing they aren’t as strict” Leon said wryly.

“They need good men. And I know you’re a good man” Dad smiled. “Take it as a new start. Away from Kevin..”

“Right” Leon sighed, “You never liked him.”

“I have good instincts” Dad pointed out. “Always have.”

Leon sighed and stared out the window, hating everything that Kevin did to him. The way he said yes, and then proceeded to break his heart in the worst way possible. Oakdale was small and nice. He’d visited every other Christmas, or when they went to see his many many cousins for birthdays. He was a little jealous that that his Uncle had eight children. He’d wanted children, but Kevin had always said he’d probably only want one or two. “It didn’t matter what the government said about incentives. They don’t have to push a watermelon out of their prolapsed butthole.”

“Did you and Papa want more kids.”

“Absolutely, But then he got sick, I offered but it was too late by then” Dad sighed. “But your Papa was proud of you. You were his perfect boy.”

“I’m not perfect” Leon said uneasily.

“Nobody is. But it doesn’t change how your Papa felt” Dad smiled, “Life is full of what if’s. What’s wise is focus on ahead, and follow your gut.”

Leon rolled his eyes, “Does it always led you to food.”

“What can I say. Food makes me happy, We’d be the size of houses If your Papa had his way” Dad smiled. “Make sure you visit his grave while you’re in Oakdale.”

Leon nodded, his Papa requested he buried with a view. So Dad had him buried in the family plot.

“I’m looking forward to your Uncles cooking. It’s a change from all the late nights at the office.”

“Still nothing with the Mafia?”

“The Seattle families are tight and careful. They’ll slip up, it’s always the young ones that do” Dad said firmly.

“I could help” Leon suggested.

“Oakdale. Trust me. The stuff that people get up to” Dad grinned. “You’ll enjoy it. I hope you will.”

Leon nodded, there was no point fighting it. His Dad wanted him to stay in Oakdale. Maybe he needed the new start. Leon recognised the familiar sights of the town as they arrived. The diner sitting on the side of the road, welcoming visitors into its gluttony. Still if he remembered they make good coffee.

Dad had helped Leon find a small place to rent, not far from his uncles, and close to all the shops. He was a little glad as he wasn’t sure he’d cope living in a house with eight children. Leon had initially just been fine if they rented somewhere in the trailer park. But Dad insisted he have a proper home. It was probably how they saw this, Leon saw it as temporary. His Dad saw this as permanent.

The house was situated on George St opposite the elementary school. It was a small brick home with a brick fence. There was even a ramp to the front door. The house was open plan with large doorways. With a pair of glass sliding doors that led to the bedroom.

“This will be nice” Dad commented as he heaved the first box inside. “Room to grow.”

Leon was exhausted, after an afternoon of unpacking. He had a long way to go, but there was a sense of home.

“Dad, do you think I could be happy here?” Leon asked, as they walked to his uncles.

“Oakdale is a lovely town” Dad reassured. “Or do you mean there’s a hope you’ll find your future husband.”

“The second one. What if there’s no one suitable?” Leon wondered.

“We don’t know the plan life has for you” Dad smiled, “But I think you’ll enjoy the pace of life here.”

Leon’s Uncle, Tom Knight had been elected Sherriff a few years ago. His house was modest, but even from the street front it looked bigger than it appeared. But then again eight kids had to eat, sleep and live there. Dad lumbered up and knocked on the door.

“It’s open” Uncle James called out.

The house was as chaotic as ever. Photos of lined the wall, and a smattering of school bags sat at floor level. The living room couch had a layer of clothes and discarded magazines.

Uncle James, was a handsome man in his forties, was busy fussing over the kitchen. It was probably the only neat section of the house. He had a baby over his shoulder, who was patting.

“James” Dad said as he lumbered over and embraced him warmly. “You’re looking well.”

“It’s the post baby glow” Uncle James chuckled, “How was the drive down. You look exhausted.”

“That’s just how he looks lately” Leon said wryly.

“Leon, look at you. I can’t believe your twenty one. Well I can believe it. I just don’t want to feel that old” Uncle James smiled.

“Where’s Tom?” Dad asked.

“Herding the little ones to wash their hands” James smiled.

“Has Tom started asking about another yet?”

Dad asked as he grabbed a beer from the top shelf of the fridge.

“Yes. And I’ve told him we’re waiting until this one is walking” Uncle James said. “Probably my last.”

“You must be glad for that” Leon commented.

Uncle James smiled, “I enjoy our family, and I wouldn’t do it if I couldn’t manage it.”

“I’m going to say hello to my nephews” Dad said as he wandered upstairs. “You two talk.”

Leon glanced over at the impressive colour coded schedule. He wondered if guys like Uncle James were less and less common now days.

“You look pained” Uncle James asked. “Not sure about the move to Oakdale?”

“Dad insists it’s a good idea for me.”

Uncle James smiled, “I was worried about moving here for your uncle. But there’s peace here, generally. People are nice and friendly, and there’s something about a corn fed man that hits different.”

Leon nodded, but he wasn’t quite convinced. His phone beeped, and a notification appeared on the screen ‘Kevin Kwan has posted.’ Leon clicked, although he knew he shouldn’t. The screen filled with Kevin smiling as he showed off a huge engagement ring. What made him feel sick was the noticeable curve to Kevin’s stomach.

“I assume that’s your ex?” Uncle James said peering over his shoulder. “It’s not healthy to compare yourself to others. Everyone has their own timeline.”

“He moved on quick” Leon muttered.

“Maybe. But would you have preferred to be stuck with someone who might not have been happy.”

“I was happy” Leon replied.

“Do you know if he was?” Uncle James asked. “Give Oakdale two years, let yourself settle in, get used to being a deputy. Then put yourself out there. Don’t rush it, give yourself time to heal.”

Leon nodded, it was good advice. “I should block my ex shouldn’t I?”

“I would highly recommend it” Uncle James reassured. “You know you’re welcome around to dinner anytime. And you call if you need anything.”

“Thanks Uncle James” Leon nodded with a warm smile.

Chapter 3

Two days later.

Peter found comfort in being home, nothing had changed much. And his bruise slowly healed he found himself slipping into a familiar routine. With some changes, like knowing to avoid the bathroom after Heath or Dad had been. Otherwise he’d likely have gotten gassed out, he’d debated suggesting a third bathroom. But knew his parents too well to know that was a useless endeavour.

He kept glancing at his phone, he’d blocked his ex’s number and unfollowed him on socials. But he kept expecting his phone to light up with messages, from his friends. But were they his friends anymore.

After he got together with him, he stopped messaging them. Peter should have seen the signs then. Peter pulled on a pair of sweat pants, giving them a cautious sniff to see if they were still clean before pulling on a top.

“No no. Put real pants on your leaving the house” Papa said as he walked past.

“Err. What..” Peter blinked.

“I need to go grocery shopping, and it’s been two weeks. You need to leave the house” Papa said firmly.

“I put the bins out” Peter offered.

“Doesn’t count” Papa added.

“Dad might need my help.”

“It’s the off season, your Dad will manage” Papa said firmly. “Put some proper trousers on. And come on.”

“But I had plans..” Peter groaned.

“Watching tv doesn’t count” Papa said firmly. “And I’m pregnant, I need help lifting.”

Peter groaned, “fine.”

He dug out a pair of trousers that ended up being baggy on him. So he ended up having to dig around for a belt.

“You need new trousers. Or more belts” Papa said amused.

Peter rolled his eyes, “Let’s just get this over with.”

Papa frowned and paused looking at Peter and examining his face. “Your bruise is practically gone. Why are you pouting.”

Peter shrugged, “Shame? I dunno.”

“I can get you into see a therapist, you should have a couple of appointments if your still under our insurance” Papa said as he lumbered around the kitchen and handed him a series of shopping bags. “Take these and put them in the boot. Peter looked at the bags confused. They weren’t the usual recyclable shopping bags.

“What are these?” Peter asked.

“Bags designed to fit the trolley, saves time” Papa said simply.

“Uh huh” Peter said not quite believing the sentiment. He grabbed the car keys off the table, and walked outside. There was a nice fresh breeze and through the trees hints of sunlight poked through. He smiled and turned to his Dad’s car, a black four wheel drive that had dirt and a bit of mud splattered on it. Peter opened the boot and unceremoniously shoved the bags in the back before closing it.

He looked down at his phone, still no messages. Although it’s not like he reached out either. He’d probably left it too long.

Wyatt was in the military, and Connor and Luca well.

There was that guilt again. He wished he hadn’t let someone rule his life so hard.

“I’m not dating anyone over thirty” Peter muttered to himself.

“That’s a wise idea. City men are a different breed” Papa said as he came down. “Your father is still threatening to beat him.”

Peter smiled, “I think Dad would get winded even standing up.”

“He has more stamina than you think” Papa smiled as he carefully heaved himself into the car.

“Ew” Peter grimaced, a mental image of his parents having sex, sprung to mind.

“One day you’ll get the joy of traumatising your children” Papa said as he turned the key into the engine.

“Maybe I‘ll stay single” Peter shrugged looking out the window.

“Don’t count it out, you had one bad experience. One very bad experience, but most men aren’t like that.”

“I suppose” Peter considered. Peter watched as his Dad drove the familiar route down the dirt street as it steadily became paved, the familiar sight of his elementary school out the left window.

“What happened with Heath?” Peter asked.

“He’s always had his Dad’s body type. But a combination of a bulking gone wrong and a break up.”

“Oof. Didn’t peg Heath as an emotional eater” Peter grimaced.

“Because that’s your thing” Papa said wryly.

“I don’t…as much” Peter said defensive. “Were parking near the front right?”

“Nope. That’s only for those with prams, and the disabled” Papa said as he turned into a spot.

“So that’s why you got pregnant. Better parking.”

Papa snorted, “If only. But it is an added benefit. Grab the bags from the boot.”

Bulk Buy, was as big as ever, although Peter was certain it had been renovated.

“No you can’t check out the entertainment section” Papa warned.

“Figured” Peter pouted, as he followed his papa down the aisles, grabbing what they needed off his list. “How do we eat this much.”

“You’ve met your Dad right” Papa said wryly. “And I’m eating for three.” They turned a corner into the can goods aisle.

“What do we need?” Peter asked looking around, a pudgy guy with a noticeable muffin top was restocking.

The pudgy guy’s head turned around, and Peter felt his stomach suddenly lurching into his throat.

“Peter! What the fuck!” Connor Hudson asked starting at him. (Description) Connor had been Peter’s friend since daycare. The two had been a normal part of each other’s lives all through school. Peter felt that guilt again.

“Err hi…” He said awkwardly.

“What happened to your face?” Connor said staring.

Peter winced, and felt pain again, “Err. Walked into a wall” he lied.

Connor raised a dubious eyebrow, which didn’t help when Papa snorted amused.

Papa squeezed Peter’s shoulder, “Tell him the truth.”

“I err…got out of an abusive relationship” Peter muttered, feeling his shoulders sink as he turned away.

“What?” Connor said quietly.

“It was my fault. I deserved it” Peter muttered the guilt weighing on him.

“One day you were texting photos of all the delicious food you were cooking, and the next day, you went silent. I texted. And nothing.”

Peter couldn’t meet his eye, “He didn’t like me texting people he didn’t approve of.”

Connor looked at Papa uncertain. “He’s been home for two days” Papa explained.

Peter gasped as he felt Connor envelop him into a hug. “Don’t you ever do that again” he hissed holding him. “You’re my best friend. I missed you.”

Peter melted into his familiar embrace. He didn’t realise he was crying until he felt the salty tears drip down his cheeks. “I’m sorry.”

Connor pulled away and looked at Peter, frowning. “He really broke you..” he murmured.

Peter didn’t couldn’t bring himself to disagree.

“You should come around for dinner” Connor insisted. “We need to hang out. When I’m not working.”

Peter nodded, as he wiped his eyes. “Yeah, we should. You got fat..”

“I stopped playing football” Connor jiggled his belly. “Dad said I’ve ripened.”

“If that’s the case, I’ve gone off” Peter replied wryly. “Do you see much of Luca and Wyatt?”

“Since Wyatt left for the army, not a thing. Luca I mean I see him around. He works at the diner, but it’s not the same with just the two of us…”

Peter felt guilty again, he should have kept in touch. He should have. He sighed, and thought about how his ex would have reacted. How he barely let him keep his phone as it was.

“I haven’t changed my number” Connor smiled, “I have to keep working.”

“Of course. Yeah” Peter nodded, “missed you.”

Connor smiled, “I missed you too.”

Peter smiled as he and Papa grabbed what they needed and made their way down the next aisle.

“Did you and he ever consider?”

“We’re both bottoms” Peter said bluntly, we know each other too well. For it to be romantic.

Papa nodded, “fair enough.”

They finished their shopping and Peter looked away, as the cashier looked at Peter’s face concerned.

“Maybe we should get you checked out at the hospital” Papa commented as they pushed the trolleys toward the car. “When was the last time you had your.”

“Last week. We haven’t had sex in a while. I was too fat” Peter muttered.

Papa raised an eyebrow, “Oh he’s one of those.”

Peter frowned, “one of what?”

“He likes to control you. I doubt he actually cared what you weighed, but he liked being the one to decide” Papa said frowning. “If you’re up for it. We can stop at the sheriffs station. Put a report in. I’ve got the phone call taped.”

“You tape phone calls” Peter frowned.

“No. Just the ones that call the work number. We had a few people threaten us over the years. So we record them as a precaution.”

“I don’t want to get him in trouble.”

“Peter” Papa said calmly. “Think about what you just said.”

Peter realised and rubbed his non bruised side of his face. “Right. Yeah. I probably should.”

“I don’t want to pressure you. But..” Papa said.

“I should do it. For my own sake.”

Papa drove them around the corner to the sheriffs station. Peter had the distinct impression this had been the plan all along.

“Is the Sheriff still Mr Dayton?” Peter asked.

“Yeah. Although given how fat he’s getting.. I can’t imagine it’s for long”

“What? He finally caught up to dad?” Peter smirked. He and Mr Dayton had known each other since school, and as such had regularly competed against each other in a few pie eating competitions over the years.

“He’s getting close. Mind you don’t tell your Dad, but I’ve been giving him smaller portions.”

“Surely dad has noticed?” Peter frowned.

“He hasn’t, it’s mostly because well I’m pregnant. I’m not doing all the work by myself” Papa said.

“I’ll help.”

“That’s not what I mean, and you’ll have your own kids to worry about. I don’t need my husband becoming bed bound while the twins are in diapers” Papa said.

Peter grinned, “because you’d have to change Dad’s too.”

Papa’s eyes narrowed.

“I remember grandpa talking about having to do that with Grandad. And Uncle (Robert) isn’t small either” Peter pointed out.

“I married into a family where the men are fertile and humongous” Papa smiled. “I’d do it all again too.”

Peter shook his head wryly, as he and Papa pushed open the glass door. Peter had only been in a handful of times, but it hadn’t changed. It was a sort of U shaped with one wing to the left and one to the right. The left was mostly offices. The right on the other hand held the drunk tank.

No one was behind the desk, so Papa pressed the bell, and waited. Peter looked around the foyer, trying to see if he could spot anyone.

“Sorry. One minute” a voice said from a cupboard.

The door, which was definitely a broom cupboard as a series of brooms clattered to the floor. As a tall brunette stepped out. He was athletic in his build, and his uniform was distractingly tight. “Can I help you?” He asked as he squatted to pick up the brooms and one mop which had fallen. He had a charming reassuring smile. And his squat, which caused his trousers to tighten over his round ass cheeks. Was very distracting.

“Yes. My son wanted to report a case of domestic violence toward him from his ex partner.”

The smile fell immediately from his face, and the brooms clattered to the floor. “Oh. Okay…” He said a little surprised, as he picked the up and awkwardly shoved them into the cupboard. The brooms already sensing the not quite closed door tried to make their way and out. And with an awkward shove, he got them in, and stepped back.

“Okay. Right, are you okay if we do it in the conference room. Sorry not do it, record your statement” he corrected, his cheeks flushing.

“Sure..” Peter hesitated, feeling a little embarrassed.

“Take this” Papa said pushing a usb into Peter’s hand. “The recording of your phone call.”

“You record phone calls?”

“I work at the garage” Papa said wryly. “We’ve had a few idiots over the years try to threaten us.”

“Right. Did you want to come in with us?”

“It’s alright. Unless you’d like me to Peter?” Papa asked.

“I’ll be okay” Peter reassured. He didn’t know why but something about the deputy, reassured him.

“Great. Well not great. But yeah err this way” He said awkwardly.

Peter smiled wryly, and followed the deputy into the conference room.

“I’m Leon. Deputy Leon Knight” he said clearly trying to sound impressive.

“Peter Redfield”

“Oh. You’re Heath’s little brother” Leon said recognition crossing his face. “You’re thinner than I thought.”

Peter frowned, “You know my brother?”

“Yeah. I drink with him” Leon explained, “Take a seat.”

Peter sat down at the large conference table, as Leon walked around grabbed a paper and began pouring a cup of water. “Right. So how long have you been seeing the guy.”

“We were together nine months.”

Leon looked up surprised, “Nine months. Okay..”

Peter told the whole story of how he and his ex had met. Saying it all out loud, it was strange how looking back he’d ignored so many warnings.

“But it was my fault, he was in a bad mood. I deserved it really” Peter finally said at the end.

Leon looked up and he was frowning deeply at Peter. “I’m sorry you went through that” Leon said honestly.

“Thanks” Peter replied awkwardly.

“So I’ll put the report in, if it’s Seattle it might take time. And they might ignore it. But we’ll have it on our system” Leon said awkwardly.

“So if he shows up” Peter said feeling sick at the thought.

“We can protect you” Leon confirmed.

Peter felt a deep reassurance. Because something told him, that Leon would.

“Thank you” Peter smiled, his cheeks blushing.

Leon smiled at him, “I hope your bruise heals up.”

“Me too” Peter admitted. “So you’re not from here? I feel like I’d remember you from school.”

Leon smiled, and Peter couldn’t help but smile back at him. “I grew up in Seattle, My uncle is the current sheriff” Leon explained.

Peter nodded understanding, “That would explain it.”

“Is there anything else?” Leon asked.

“Er. No I’m good. Are you good?” Peter said quickly.

“I’m great” Leon agreed nodding.

“Great” Peter smiled, feeling more stupid by the second.

“I’ll show you out” Leon said opening the door.

Chapter 4

Leon sat down in the seat opposite Jesse Foster. He was a handsome enough local boy. Sandy blonde hair and dark eyes and a thin face. Even though he wasn’t stock thin, he had a fat pillowy muffin top, that was evident even underneath his baggy jumper. Most of it didn’t show on his face yet.

“Have you ordered?” Leon asked curiously. “I’m happy to pay.” His father always taught him to be a gentleman, and offer. Even if they didn’t always accept.

“I have. I love the cakes here, they are delicious” Jesse smiled. “A tea as well, I’m not a big fan of coffee.”

Leon nodded, “I’d be a vegetable if I didn’t have coffee” Leon said wryly.

“Any recommendations? Usually I get breakfast from the diner” Leon explained.

“Oh I don’t eat there, it makes me gassy” Jesse warned.

Leon frowned, why tease him with a good time. “That a bad thing?”

“Yes” Jesse said quickly.

“So…” Leon said deciding to change topic, “what was high school like here. I only ever visited to see my cousins.”

“It was fine, there were mostly bottoms in my year” Jesse huffed. “Half of them were in this little gang, with one top. Who joined the army after he graduated.”

Leon nodded, Jesse sounded extremely bitter. “I’m sure you still had fun” he offered. “I think about a third of my year popped a kid out before graduation. But that’s the joy of a public school.”

“I only want one child. I mean the government encouragement is nice and all. But honestly it’s like some families haven’t even heard of birth control” Jesse said honestly.

Leon decided not to mention his uncles.

“I’m going to order a coffee” Leon said getting up and walking up the counter. Barry was smirking amused behind the register.

“What can I get you deputy Leon?” Barry asked.

“A better date” Leon said quietly. “Otherwise a coffee. Strong please.”

“Can do” Barry smiled, “and he’s an acquired taste.”

“Good to know” Leon said sighing, he waited for the coffee and carried it over to the table. “Sorry. You were saying something about how my uncle has too many children?”

Jesse blinked at him a sort of stunned look in his eyes. “I didn’t mean your family. I mean other families like the Jacksons.”

Leon knew it was a bad lie, “right I see. So what do you do for work?”

“I’m helping my father, he’s working on his campaign to run as mayor” Jesse explained spiritedly. “He’s going to do some good things for this town.”

Leon started checking out at this point. Offering nods and the occasional hmm of agreement. Jesse seemed very good at talking his own ego up. The moment there was a gap in conversation Leon used the opportunity to end the date. As politely as possible. He made a mental note to definitely avoid voting for Jesse’s father.

“How was the date?” Drew Sawyer asked as Leon walked into the office.

“Bad” Leon replied shaking his head.

“Could have told you” Drew grinned, “In fact I’m almost certain I did.”

“I’m still not buying you a coffee” Leon said booting up his computer.

“Lunch?” Drew winked.

“We’re both tops and you don’t need my help in fattening yourself up. You do that all on your own” Leon teased grinning,

Drew prodded his developing ball belly, “It’s a charmer. The boys love it, If you put some weight on you’d know.”

Leon scoffed, “I’d rather the boyfriend first. Let him enjoy ruining me.”

“Donuts are here boys” Uncle Tom said carrying the six dozen boxes. “And people say we waste tax payer dollars” he handed one of the boxes to Leon.

“Speaking of tax payers. Who’s in the mayoral election” Leon asked.

Uncle Tom snorted derisively, “At this stage the only one who’s put his hat in is Jim Foster. And he’s insufferable. Someone else will do it. Can’t be any worse than Raymond Green.”

“He’s the guy retiring. Whose son looks like he’s one meal away from popping?” Drew smirked.

“That’s the one” Uncle Tom nodded.

“Have you asked him out?” Drew enquired swinging around in his chair to face Leon.

“He’s too big. I want fat, but someone I can develop” Leon said.

“It’s the way all Knight men are programmed. I could see James’s ribs the first time I took him out” Uncle Tom grinned. “There’s something about seeing a trim boy just let himself go the moment he gets bred.”

Leon chuckled in agreement as he opened the box of donuts and took a large bite. It was embarrassing how easily he ate it. The icing covered treat easily being consumed. His fingers grabbed a second without thinking. He shoved it in chewing greedily as he felt the greed began to take him over. He felt the tightness in his stomach when he finished off the fourth one. “Ooof…” Leon groaned rubbing his belly. “I should stop but these are damn good.”

“Well we work hard, we all deserve a treat” Uncle Tom commented. “I’m going back to my office. Leon I’ll need you to grab a couple of the storage boxes in the cleaning cupboard, and put them in conference room.”

“Will do Uncle” Leon nodded and grabbed another donut.

He looked up at Drew who grinned his cheeks bulging with donut, “Nope. Not helping.”

Leon rolled his eyes, “I Hope you.. urrrpp get pregnant.”

“I wish you many broken condoms” Drew replied, giving him the finger playfully.

Leon checked his emails, as a couple of paper balls flew over toward his desk. “Your aim is getting worse” Leon said wryly.

If I had a bigger target” Drew said wryly. “You make the rest of us look bad.”

“I’m waiting for marriage.”

“You sound like a bottom Leon” Drew teased, as Leon walked over to the storage cupboard. That also housed a bunch of cleaning equipment, which promptly fell out the moment he opened the door. Most helpfully it locked from the inside. All the shelves had a layer of dust, document boxes so old the permanent marker had faded. Leon huffed and heaved the first box of the shelf, carrying it over into the conference room. It was annoyingly tedious, but it was easier to get it done. He managed to clear out the boxes, and started shoving the brooms and mop bucket into the cupboard. He heard the main door open and footsteps, he wondered if Drew would get up. Or do his usual routine of ducking behind his cubicle wall and hope no one noticed.

The bell on the front desk rang out.

“Sorry, One Minute” Leon yelled. As the brooms fell against him unhelpfully.

Leon shoved them forward and undid the door behind him. He tried to step out but the rooms followed after him like unwanted stalkers. “Can I help you?” Leon asked squatting down to pick up the brooms.

Leon took in the sight of the Papa and Son. The Papa was in his forties easily around Uncle James age. With his blonde hair having a couple of streaks of white in them. His belly was plump and bulged out.

“Yes. My son wanted to report a case of domestic violence toward him from his ex partner.”

His son was noticeably thin, with dark brown hair. His lips were thin and he had these dark eyes. He was undeniably beautiful, especially with the hips that curved out in his baggy trousers. He had this uncomfortable expression, that looked wrong on his face, as he turned toward Leon. Leon saw his puffy bruised face, with a black eye on his right side.

The brooms fell to the floor, and Leon felt his face become warm. Guilty for checking the boy out so blatantly. “Oh okay..” Leon said as he forced the brooms into the cupboard. Being equally difficult as they tried to squeeze their way out of their narrowing gap. He shoved them in quickly and stepped back. Taking a breath to calm himself. He turned back to the boy and offered his best reassuring smile. “Okay. Right, are you okay if we do it in the conference room. Sorry not do it, record your statement” Leon felt the sentence well and truly get away from him as he stared at the beautiful boy. He needed to stop saying stupid things he was better than that. At least he corrected himself.

“Okay” the boy said timidly.

Leon couldn’t help but feel horrible for Peter. The way he couldn’t quite see how he’d been manipulated, even if he knew he’d been used. Naivety used against someone was never deserved. But at least he’d been completely transparent. Letting him clone his phone and access all the details of his ex. Once the report was done, he’d talk to his uncle about applying for a restraining order on behalf of Peter.

“As I said to Peter, I’ll finish up the report and it’ll be submitted to the system. We share with all police in Seattle. There’s more than enough evidence to prove the charges” Leon explained calmly. “Myself or someone else here will call you with an update. But if you need you can always call on us. I can also recommend someone form the hospital to reach out, if you feel the need to talk to a professional” Leon said.

“Thank you” The Papa smiled.

“Have a good afternoon” Leon smiled as they walked out. He sighed, ignoring the sound of a motorbike racing around the corner. If it was over the limit the speed camera would get it.

He noticed Drew was grinning at him mischievously. “Your flirting skills are impressive to behold.”

“I wasn’t flirting” Leon replied his face flushing.

“Sure you weren’t. It looked from here you have it down bad for him” Drew said stretching back in his chair. “Have fun writing all that up. Oh and you’ll need to use the computer in the sheriffs office to key it in. It’s the only one fast enough that has that program.”

Leon groaned annoyed, “typical.”

Leon wandered back to the conference room, and took his notes and saved what he’d done so far. Before he wandered over to the sheriffs office.

“Sorry Uncle Tom, I have to put a DV report in” Leon said opening the door.

“Really? Damn from who?” Uncle Tom asked.

“Peter Redfield, about his ex boyfriend from Seattle. He was very upfront about it all.”

Uncle Tom, leaned over his gut pressing into Leon’s back as he picked up the photo of Peter. “You took this?”

“Yeah. He offered his own that he took initially, but yeah I took those as well” Leon nodded.

“That’s a noticeable black eye. Poor kid” Uncle Tom said. “I’ll get a coffee while you do that.”

Leon nodded as he began inputting everything. The downside of the regional sheriffs station was he ended up doing everything twice, digital and physical. But the outgoing mayor refused to pay money into the sheriffs station in a town that was quiet. At least with all the digital evidence it made things easier. Leon saved his draft and attempted to upload. An error message popped up.

‘Unable to Upload. Contact Major Crimes.’

Leon frowned, and slightly annoyed. Saved and tried two search terms, he looked up Peter. Nothing returned he had a clean record. Then he tried the ex’s name and he had ‘Contact Major Crimes.’

Leon frowned, why was Peter’s abusive ex considered under the major crimes umbrella.

“All done?” Uncle Ton asked.

“It throws up this error. Peter’s rap sheet is blank, so it’s obviously the ex. But I don’t know what I’m meant to do” Leon said.

“Call Major Crimes” Uncle Tom grinned, “You have your Dads work number don’t you?”

Leon felt slightly stupid, but it was annoying he couldn’t just submit.

He dialed his Dad’s number on the phone, making sure it was on loudspeaker.

“Hello, this is Sam Knight, Head of Major Crimes.”

“Hey Dad, Your on Loudspeaker in Uncle Tom’s office. Are you in your office?”

“I am Leon. What’s going on son?”

“Does this name Mario Vercetti ring a bell.”

“A big one. Why do you know his name?” Dad said cautiously.

“His Ex boyfriend returned home, and made a domestic Violence complaint. The system isn’t letting me enter it.”

“Vercetti abused his ex, whose family is from Oakdale?” Dad said surprised. “Who’s the boy?”

“Peter Redfield” Uncle Tom said firmly. “Carter’s youngest. He went up to Seattle for culinary school.”

“The Redfields boy? Is the Heavyweights branching out?” Dad asked curiously.

“Nah they’ve been straight since their late leader decided about twenty years back. Most of the members are either obese or have kids on the way. It’s basically a men’s club. Still I hate to think what would happen if his ex turned up in Oakdale.”

“Yeah. Protecting their own” Dad agreed thoughtfully. “I’ll add Oakdale into the Major Crimes network and you’ll be able to submit the report.”

Leon nodded, and there was a small pop up that appeared. Leon clicked submit and it went through.

“Oh yeah. I see it” Dad said. “Good Gods Leon, you got his phone number? Without a warrant?”

“Peter let me clone his phone. He was very honest about wanting to provide as much evidence as needed” Leon said. “He’s very shaken up by the whole thing.”

“This is good work. You’re right about the detail, full timeline, text messages, photographs, hell you’ve even got his address. I have one question, does Peter know Vercetti was a member of the Seattle Five Families.”

“From what he said, and the texts back this up, he was purposely kept in the dark. He was basically a houseboy” Leon admitted, “I’m surprised there isn’t a kid involved.”

Dad hesitated for a second, “Vercetti’s parents were murdered when he was a kid. He’s probably not jumping into having kids” Dad warned. “What do you think Tom?”

“Leon’s taken point on this” Uncle Tom said squeezing his shoulder. “But I know the family, anecdotally they’ve never met Peter’s boyfriend. They’ve been very clear about keeping their kids out of the Motorcycle club.”

“Mind you I don’t think Heath could change a tire” Leon said wryly.

“Alright. So the Redfields are naive to the bigger picture. You’ve got an abused boy who if I’m honest. Mario isn’t going to take running off kindly. I’ll get a restraining order in front of the judge. That will give Mario a heads up that Peter has moved against him. But it’ll give us some nice juicy legal standing to bring him in if he moves against him.”

“You think he’ll try to attack Peter” Leon said feeling protective.

“Well. I don’t know what he’ll do Leon. But you lot down there. Need to be ready” Dad warned.

“Understood” Uncle Tom nodded, “And Call us with any updates, so we can liaise with the family.”

They ended the call, and Leon looked up at Tom. “Do we tell them? Peters’s family I mean.”

Uncle Tom sighed and shook his head, “for now we keep it to ourselves. We don’t want anyone lashing out. Or do anything fool hardy. This is Seattle’s problem, let’s cross out fingers and hope that they forget about us.”

Leon nodded, and crossed his fingers concerned.

Chapter 5

Peter lay in his bed staring at his phone. He knew he had to start reaching out to Luca and Wyatt. But honestly he didn’t know where to start, he was still surprised that Connor had straight up admitted he and Luca barely talked anymore. Had the gang truly fallen apart so easily.

He and Connor had known each other since they could crawl. The two had been inseparable all the way through school, and then he’d gone to Seattle. He’d met… well he’d stopped talking to Connor, for almost a year now.

At least Connor was sympathetic, he wasn’t sure if Wyatt or Luca would reply to his message.

“Why do you look so pained?” Dad asked frowning.

Peter propped himself up on the elbows, glancing up at his Dad. He looked tired. “Trying to figure out what to say to Luca and Wyatt..”

“Ah” Dad nodded as he lumbered over, and lowered himself onto the edge of the bed. “I understand that. But you can’t blame yourself.”

“Can’t I. Feels like everything is my fault” Peter muttered.

Dad pulled him against his gut, “Nothing is your fault. They’ll understand.”

“Maybe” Peter muttered resting his head against Dad. “You look tired.”

Dad sighed, “It’s been a long couple of weeks.”

“The funeral?” Peter murmured, a family friend of Dad’s had died. An old biker friend of Dads had turned up, with his son. Peter probably would have been more interested, if his Dads hadn’t changed topic the moment either Peter or Heath had asked.

“Yeah, all you can do is work hard to make Amends” Dad smiled. “But if anything you need a job.”

Peter groaned, “Dad.”

“You were the one who gave up Culinary School, for a boy” Dad said frowning.

“It wasn’t just that” Peter said. “I like cooking. But doing it like that, it was taking the fun out of it.”

“You know you could have mentioned” Dad pointed out.

“You had both saved money, it’s still in an account. I haven’t touched it..” Peter admitted.

Dad squeezed Peter’s thigh, “Your more responsible than Heath. What do you want to do…”

“It sounds silly” Peter said cheeks blushing.

“I won’t judge” Dad reassured.

“You’re my Dad, Aren’t you meant to judge me?” Peter said wryly.

“Cross my heart” Dad smiled.

“I want to get pregnant” Peter murmured he looked away from his Dad. “Being..with him. He never wanted kids, and the longer..i just felt empty. I want… a family of my own.”

Dad smiled at Peter, “There’s nothing wrong with that” he reassured. “Until Mr right comes along. May I heavily suggest you get a job” Dad said firmly.

Peter sighed, “Dad..”

“Get a job” Dad repeated prodding Peter’s chest, “There’s always work, if you ask around.”

“Can’t I help you?”

“It’s the off season, your Papa will need an apprentice but that’s not your cup of tea” Dad said. “Look. Why don’t you call your friend Luca. And tell him the truth, I know you feel ashamed and guilty about what happened. But if you’re honest about it, people will understand, and forgive you.”

“Because I didn’t do anything wrong?” Peter finished.

“Exactly” Dad said. “Other than ghosting your best mates.”

“So..the guy who moved in, with his son. What happened there.”

“That is a long complicated story.”

“I’ve got time” Peter grinned.

“No” dad said firmly. “0h and you’re forbidden from dating his son. Or sleeping with him.”

“I’m not into bad boys. Especially after everything” Peter said wryly.

“Call your friend and be honest” Dad said as he gripped the end of the bed, “I need to loose some weight.”

Peter snorted under his breath. “Can you?”

Dad’s eyes narrowed as he lumbered away.

Peter looked down at his phone, and hesitated over Luca’s number. He sighed and pressed call. Peter bit his lip as he pressed the loudspeaker button and waited for someone to pickup.

“Hello? Peter?” Luca said surprised. Peter could hear the sounds of a diner in the background.

“Sorry, did I call at a bad time?” Peter winced, the intense feeling of stupidity rising.

“No it’s fine. I haven’t heard from you in ages?” Luca asked,

“Yeah. I…” Peter felt the want to lie, to hide away in a cocoon of lies. He had to be honest. “I got into an abusive relationship in Seattle. He didn’t like me talking to people he didn’t know. I…just moved home. After he uhh hit me” Peter trailed off. “I saw Connor at Bulk Buy, and he mentioned you don’t see each other as much. I thought it would be nice to catch up again.”

The other end was silent for a long moment.

“He hit you?” Luca said a worry in his voice.

“Yeah..”

“And your okay now?”

“Yeah, my parents picked me up, they were worried. It’s good to be home” Peter admitted. “I missed you all. I thought we could all catch up again.”

“What did you have in mind?” Luca asked.

Peter considered for a moment. “Hang out like old times?”

“Yeah it’d be good to see you” Luca agreed enthusiastically.

“I was thinking the three of us” Peter added. “I’d ask Wyatt, but he’s deployed.”

“Right yeah, I suppose we could” Luca said his enthusiasm dying slightly.

“Did something happen between you two?” Peter asked. “Because I don’t want to get in the middle of something.”

“We just got busy…” Luca said defensive.

Peter rolled his eyes, “Bullshit.”

“We dated for a week, and after it was just awkward.”

“Oh the love of…you’re both bottoms. What did you think would happen?” Peter frowned.

“We just thought we’d try.”

“Right. I’m fixing this” Peter muttered. “I’ll start a group chat. So we can organise things. But we’re going to catch up.”

“Okay. Okay. But things will be awkward” Luca warned.

“Tough. I’m fixing it” Peter said firmly. “Bye Luca.”

Luca chuckled, “Bye.”

Peter relaxed, and smiled. “Okay. One down. One to go” he brought up Wyatt’s contact. He sent a text, because to be honest. He had no clue if he’d answer.

‘Hey Wyatt, how’s the military? I hope you’re not dead. I moved home, missed you heaps. Just reaching out to let you know if you’re in town, I want to catch up” Peter smiled and sent it off.

Peter followed it up with a text to Connor “Your a bottom, why did you try to date Luca.”

“I dabble” Connor replied instantly. Followed by, “It made sense at the time.”

“…. Idiots. I’m starting a group chat.”

Peter created a thread, and added Luca and Connor’s numbers, he hesitated over adding Wyatt’s number. He added it.

“Alright group chat. I’ve added Wyatt out of respect, even though he might not be able to join us. But…I want him to know we still care.

Now when is everyone free. No trying to avoid it.”

Connor: “I finish early Saturday.”

Luca: “I finish at seven on Saturday. But if you wanted, we could meet at the diner, and if it’s quiet I can join you earlier.”

Connor: “Oh I haven’t been to the diner in ages. Do you still do the loaded fries?”

Luca: “Yeah we do.”

Peter: “Great! 6:30 Saturday.”

Luca: “See you then.”

Connor: “If there’s food. I’m in.”

Peter: “I’m starting to see where that gut came from.”

Connor: “Oi!”

Peter: 😘

Saturday arrived and his parents couldn’t give him a lift. So Peter was ‘forced’ to walk to the diner. So as he walked down the well worn path. He heard the rev of motorbike from down the road behind him.

“Where are you off too?” The Biker kid Grayson grinned, as he slowed down.

“Walking to the diner?” Peter said, not overly interested in a conversation.

“Why? Don’t you drive?” Grayson enquired.

“Because I don’t” Peter shrugged, “It’s a small town. Don’t you have somewhere to be?”

“Me. No…” Grayson grinned. “Wanna ride?”

“I’m fine” Peter repeated.

“You sure?” Grayson said with a charming smile.

“You know I’m forbidden to date or sleep with you” Peter warned.

Grayson laughed, “Lucky me” he winked.

“No” Peter stopped and frowned at him.

Grayson softened, “Its a ride. I’m not asking for head” he pointed out.

Peter sighed, “Fine.” He gave in, and walked over straddling across the bike. “I’m catching up with my friends. So you can’t stay.”

“I wouldn’t dream of it” Grayson smiled. “Hold me tight. Don’t want a twink like you getting any more bruised.”

Peter rolled his eyes, and did so. Grayson flew and effortlessly rode down the street, flying around the corner at an impressive albeit probably illegal speed. He pulled into the diner carpark.

“Your final stop. Trailer Park Prince.”

“Oh. Ha. So funny” Peter said as slid off the bike. “Thanks for the ride.”

“Anytime” Grayson smiled. “Bruise is healing up.”

“Yeah. It’s a bit better..” Peter agreed. “So what are you doing now?”

“I’m going to the next town over, pick up a few things for the trailer” Grayson commented. “So I hope you have the most debaucherous night.”

“Uh huh” Peter said rolling his eyes.

Grayson revved his engine and sped off. Behind him heard footsteps approach, “Who was that?” Connor asked intrigued. “New boyfriend?”

“Gods no, he’s staying at the trailer park, and Dad has forbidden me from dating or sleeping with him” Peter said shaking his head.

“So are you gonna?” Connor grinned.

“No. Not my type” Peter said honestly.

“I always found guys in leather hot” Connor said wryly.

“That’s a leather daddy. He’s in a motorcycle gang” Peter said firmly. “Bad idea.”

“Pft” Connor said rolling his eyes. “I’ll be the judge of that.”

Peter shook his head, the door of the diner opened and Leon walked out, still in his deputy’s uniform holding coffee, and a paper bag. That Peter assumed had food in it.

“Hey” Leon smiled.

“Hey” Peter smiled back.

“Your bruise is looking better” Leon commented.

“Yeah. It’s definitely less swollen.”

“Good. If it wasn’t that would be fine too. I’d still keep an eye out for you” Leon said his cheeks turning steadily red. “I’d look after you if you were in diapers. Not that I’m into diapers. But just that I’d yeah” Leon fell silent, now as red as a tomato. “I better go.”

“Yeah. I understand” Peter smiled swooning a little. “Bye.”

Connor snorted in amusement.

As Leon shuffled past.

“That was embarrassing for both of you” Connor commented.

“What?” Peter blinked.

“I’ve definitely figured out what your type is” Connor said as they walked into the diner.

“He’s just nice” Peter protested.

“So embarrassing for you” Connor grinned.

(Diner description)

“I’ve reserved a table for us over there” Luca smiled. “And what’s embarrassing for him.”

“The deputy has it down bad for Peter.”

“He does not. He’s just nice” Peter said defensive.

“Wow..” Luca grinned.

“Come on” Connor grinned grabbing the menus and dragging him over to a table. “We need to fatten you up for Mr Deputy.”

Connor slid in beside Peter, and handed him a menu. “My treat. Dad said Hello by the way.”

Peter chuckled.

“Hello to your Dad” Peter said amused, as he scanned the menu. “I’m not going to overdo it, I don’t have the capacity I used to.”

“I can tell. You’re so thin…” Connor commented. “I’m not judging, just concerned.”

“It sounds judgemental” Peter grinned. “You right though, the loaded fries do look good.”

“Right. But the menu is good. Honestly since Nick took over the menu has really improved” Connor commented.

“Is this where your belly came from. Oh my gods, did Luca fatten you up.”

“Nope. That was all him” Luca said as he swept past with a tray.

“If anyone needs fattening. It’s you, perhaps we ask Leon to help” Connor teased.

“No!” Peter said far too quickly.

Connor cackled.

As the last remaining diners paid and left. Luca joined them at the table. “How’s the food?”

“Great” Connor said cheeks bulging with food.

“It’s good” Peter confirmed as he shoved a fry into his mouth.

“So Deputy Leon. You know he’s in her practically every day” Luca grinned.

“I mean he’s allowed” Peter stammered.

“This is going to be so embarrassing for you” Luca grinned.

“I can’t wait till you two get boyfriends” Peter said huffing in annoyance.

“All the men I like are married or engaged” Luca said wryly.

“Your parents are going to flip, if you bring home a guy double your age” Peter grinned.

“As long as he’s sexy. I don’t care” Luca winked. “Not that I’ve had any time. I’ve been working way too much at the moment.”

“Why?” Connor said. “What happened to whoshisface.”

“Moved with his boyfriend to San Francisco” Luca said. “So we need to hire, but my brother is picky.”

“I know someone who’s unemployed” Connor grinned.

“Who” Luca sighed.

“Peter” Connor said obviously.

“Oh!” Luca said slapping his face. “Do you want to a diner?”

“Dad was heavily encouraging me to get a job” Peter admitted.

“Nick!” Luca called out.

A huge fat man with dark curly hair, and a light smattering of stubble waddled in a grubby apron. “It’s the terrible puff trio” He grinned his sweaty hand leaning on the table. “If your complaining about puff the food. You can leave” Nick said with a wry smile.

“No. It’s Peter, he could be a new waiter?” Luca suggested.

Nick considered, and eyed him up and down. “We’ll give a you a trial. Monday, 5am. We’ll get you a uniform and get you started. How does that sound?”

“Great!” Peter nodded.

Nick pulled off a ring of keys and slid them to Luca, “I expect this place cleaned up, and locked up.”

“Don’t worry. I will” Luca promised. “You’re allowed to say no to the job by the way.”

“Dad’s been on my back, about getting a job.”

“You’ve only been back a week” Connor frowned.

“I think he also. Wants to distract me” Peter grinned, “from all this” he said pointing to the bruise.

“Oh! So who was your ex. I want to see a picture” Luca insisted.

“I don’t…” Peter said shifting.

“Show us. So we can judge you choices” Luca grinned.

Peter sighed and gave in playfully handing over his phone after bringing up a photo.

“That’s him. Oh. You settled hard.”

Connor leaned forward his belly pressing against the table. “Why does his nose look weird.”

“Oh he broke it when he dumped his ex. That was a red flag I should have seen” Peter muttered.

“Uh huh” Connor and Luca said.

“If you’d talked to us. We could have talked you down” Connor insisted.

“I liked him, and to be honest I wouldn’t have listened. He made me feel special at first. He was smart the controlling stuff it was slow. It wasn’t like a switch…” Peter muttered.

Luca leaned forward and squeezed Peter’s hand, “You got out. And we’re going to make sure that doesn’t happen again.”

“Just like you would do the same for us” Connor agreed.

“Okay” Peter smiled.

“This is a pact. So hands in” Connor grinned. “Wyatt is here by proxy.”

“You can’t put him into pact he can’t agree too” Luca laughed.

“Too late” Connor grinned, “hands in.”

Luca and Peter put their hands in. “We look out for each other, and we listen to each other if we are concerned about any future boyfriend.”

“I agree” The trio chorused.

“Thanks. I mean that” Peter grinned.

“You left before we could cause chaos” Luca grinned.

“Sorry about that. To be fair so did Wyatt” Peter defended.

“But he’s in the army getting hot and jacked” Luca commented.

“My Dad fell pregnant with me in the army. So that’s also a possibility” Connor pointed.

“If that happens I will give you $100. No way Wyatt Bottoms” Luca said firmly.

“I mean there was that rumour, that everyone thought we were in a foresome” Peter chuckled.

“You started that rumour” Connor reminded him.

“Oh my gods I forgot that” Peter laughed.

“Do you ever think we should have actually gone to university?” Luca asked.

“I mean my grades barely got me into culinary school” Peter pointed out. “And to be honest. I don’t think I want university.”

“Really? What do you want?” Luca asked.

“Have a family. Settle down…”

“With Deputy Leon?…” Connor ventured.

Peter groaned, “It’s not like that” he said burying his face into his arms.

“I haven’t seen you crush that hard on anyone in a long while.”

“I don’t know anything about him. Yes he’s attractive but that’s it” Peter said honestly. “What if I get hurt again.”

“That’s what we are here for” Connor said obviously. “To make sure he doesn’t.”

Peter and Connor helped Luca finish cleaning, and the last couple of tasks before he locked the diner up.

“It was good doing this” Luca admitted.

“Agreed. We should go out drinking at some point” Peter suggested.

Connor snorted, “You two lightweights?”

“It’d be fun” Luca agreed. “Dancing. Boys..”

Connor laughed, “Fine yeah. We’ll go out drinking. I suppose it’s better than us drinking under the football bleachers after homecoming.”

“I’m parked over there..” he gestured toward the other side of the car park.

“You drive?” Peter frowned.

“It’s a small town. Of course I drive” Luca said staring at him. “One day we’ll all have minivans.”

Connor laughed, “Wishful thinking there.”

“It’s realistic. Men want boys who will keep having babies. It’s in there dna, as they get fatter they get more fertile.”

“My Papa’s pregnant” Peter commented.

“See” Luca grinned, “and his Dad is as big as house.”

“Yes he is” Connor said with a smirk.

Peter slapped Connor’s belly which jiggled, “He’s older than your Dad.”

“Yeah you’re right it’s weird” Connor agreed. “And I’d rather a guy I can fatten. I want to ruin him” Connor rubbed his gut, he leaned over and eased Peter’s shirt up, showing the flat stomach. He felt it carefully with his palm. “You’ve got some growing to do. I bet Leon likes fat asses.”

“Not this again” Peter blushed. “Both you twinks need some weight on you.”

Luca smiled at them mischievously, “actually. I’m going to blowing up soon.”

“Soon. How?” Peter blinked.

“I’ve agreed to be a surrogate” Luca smiled. “This guy in town he and his fiancé. They can’t have kids. So I’m going to carry their baby” Luca said proudly.

Peter and Connor stared at Luca, “Seriously?” Peter questioned.

“Deadly” Luca grinned.

“Wow. That’s impressive, good for you” Connor encouraged. “We better go out drinking before you get bred then. Do they err do it manually?”

Luca frowned. “No I don’t get a threesome. They do it in hospital” he explained.

“Oh that’s boring” Connor groaned.

“Boring but makes sense” Peter grinned. “You’re going to get that baby belly.”

Luca bit his lip, “Honestly I can’t wait.”

Peter hugged him tightly, “congratulations.”

“I’m not pregnant yet” Luca said.

“Still” Peter hugged.

“I better go” Luca smiled.

Connor and Peter nodded, waving their friend off. “I can’t believe Luca is going to have a baby” Peter muttered a little jealous.

“Leon’s a knight. He’ll have you knocked up constantly” Connor grinned. “Sheriffs station is across the road. We could go visit him..”

Peter felt his cheeks go red, “That would be weird. Right.”

“Eh. Not really” Connor shrugged. “You like him clearly.”

Peter considered, worrying he’d humiliated in the process. Connor grinned and squeezed Peter’s hand. “Alright.”

The two wandered across the road, most of the lights were off in the sheriffs station. The only light was the street lamp that illuminated the parking bays.

“Huh” Connor frowned, “Usually someone’s here..”

“Thats not normal right” Peter agreed, he walked up to the door and it swung open. “That’s weird…. Hello…”

Connor pulled out his phone and switched on the torch. “Does this count as breaking in?”

“The door was open” Peter commented as his foot crunched on broken glass. Connor swung his torch light around and the sheriff’s station was now bathed in darkness. “Hello!”

“What if someone’s here…” Connor hissed. “Someone’s obviously broken in.”

Peter pulled out his phone and switched on his torch too. The two beams of light semi illuminating the foyer. “Should we call someone?”

“Who? Call the sheriff?” Connor quipped. “Come on Peter.”

Peter ran the light beam towards the conference room door. There was a glint of something metallic, held by a gloved a hand. “Connor” Peter hissed.

“What Peter?” Connor said tensely.

“There’s someone there with a knife” Peter hissed, Connor’s torch swung around a large bulky man stood there imposing in the doorway. Hunting knife in his hand.

“Peter Redfield?” The figure growled. “I’ve been looking for you.”

“This isn’t good” Connor muttered.

“Someone misses you” The Figure said. “He got very mad when you disappeared. He owns you remember.”

Peter shivered violently, “I left him.”

“That’s not how it works. Pretty boys like you don’t get a choice.”

Peter noticed the trail of dark crimson blood that was on the floor of the conference room. And the feet of someone lying on the ground. It took him a second to recognise Leon’s ‘Lucky Socks.’

“Who did you kill?” Peter asked evenly.

“That pretty boy deputy. Who tarred my bosses name. Funny how the Authorities will look away at so much. But a legitimate domestic violence claim. Now that is actionable” The figure said with destain.

“I’m going to return you to him. But before I do tubby there is going to be gutted like a fish.”

Chapter 6

Leon woke up late, it was partially international. He was doing the dreaded all night shift at the Station. Starting late and going on until the early hours. It was a slog on a good day. But it was important, and was usually a good time to catch up with paperwork or read a good book.

When he woke up he had that drunken sluggishness brought on by one too many beers. The bloat in his belly still lingering. Or perhaps he was finally getting fat. He let his hand rub the flesh, it was taut, but there was a softness.

Like a zombie Leon dragged himself around the apartment, as he forced himself into the shower. The hot steamy water like a violent force against his soft skin. He felt a little better but there was that haze that lingered. As he dried off his body. He groaned as he rubbed his cock slowly, “Urrrpp” he belched, the smell of beer lingering on his breath.

He lumbered out into the messy lounge half heartedly pumping his shaft. He needed to get laid, but he just as badly just wanted someone. Rather than meaningless sex. Not just someone. He wanted Peter.

But Peter had been abused so as badly as Leon wanted him, he knew he had to wait. And the fact that his last conversation when he wasn’t focused on work he kept stumbling over his words. Was perhaps the reason he wasn’t ready to either.

Leon threw on the nearest clean ish pair of jeans and t-shirt. And forced himself out of the house. He hopped in his car and drove over to Fat Burger. Mostly as he knew that a greasy Heavyweight meal was better than any ‘Hair of the Dog.’

“Morning Deputy, big night?” Tyrone grinned.

“Yes” Leon said shortly. “Fuelling up before work tonight.”

“That’ll be $9.50”

Leon handed a scrunched up ten dollar bill, and stood back as he waited for his meal. The restaurant was quiet he’d obviously missed the lunch rush. Although a beefy Italian man sat in the corner eating a burger. He looked dressed for a funeral. Leon didn’t think anything of it. He drove home, shoving the pile of fast food packages off the couch.

“Greasy tasty burger” Leon said unwrapping the burger and taking a large bite. It tasted wrong.

Leon took another bite and grimace at the familiar taste that his teeth bit through. That slimey pungent texture of a pickle. Leon gagged and spat the mournful into the closest empty packet. And desperately tried to wash the flavour down with some cola. And found that it tasted horrible. The soda mix was wrong and it tasted flat and syrupy.

Leon gave up at that point, any joy to be gleaned from his meal had faded completely. He sighed and gave up, chewing on the now cold and over salted chips.

A few hours later he headed into the station, parking his truck out the back. He opened the door to the cells and saw while they were empty, but there was a distinct smell of cleaning fluid. He wandered through the door at the other end, and found the foyer empty.

“Afternoon” Leon offered to his cousin Jack.

Jack grinned, “You look. Like you’ve had a day.”

“Yeah. It’s been one of those” Leon nodded, “How was today?”

“Quiet” Jack grinned.

A ball of paper flew over the divider at Jack. “Dickhead. You don’t say that.”

“I’m finished in ten minutes. It won’t be my problem” Jack replied smiling at Leon.

“You’ll be the first person I call back in” Leon replied sitting down. He muttered annoyed to himself.

Jack left enthusiastically, and Sheriff Tom left an hour later.

“You’ll be fine” Drew said. “And the cells have been hosed down. So if anyone calls in.”

“I’ll have somewhere clean” Leon nodded.

“You go take your break, get some food and then I’ll leave when you’re back” Drew warned.

“Thanks” Leon smiled, he made a b-line for the diner. As the unfurling lunch had made him ravenously hungry. He wandered up to the counter, Luca walked over smiling.

“Deputy Leon, takeaway?”

“The usual please” Leon smiled.

Luca grinned, “won’t be long” as he put through the transaction and handed the eftpos machine to Leon. Leon paid, and sat down on one of the stools at the main counter. “All nighter?”

“Unfortunately. Someone has to do it” Leon smiled. “What’s your plan this evening.”

“My friends are coming to the diner and we’re going to catch up after close” Luca smiled, “We were frankly inseparable at school.”

“But not anymore?” Leon asked.

“Peter went to Seattle, Wyatt joined the army, and Connor and I stayed behind. And then we dated unsuccessfully.”

“Unsuccessful why?” Leon asked curiously.

“I like older men” Luca said with a smirk.

“And yet you’re still single” Leon teased.

“A boy has to have standards” Luca said wryly, as he finished pouring the foaming milk the take away cup. “Here’s your coffee” Luca smiled.

“Thanks, So are you glad Peter is back?” Leon asked taking a sip of the coffee.

“I can’t imagine things will go back to normal” Luca admitted, “But it would be nice to have friends again. It’ll be a good break from being buried in university work.”

“How’s that going?”

“Slowly” Luca said as he walked over to the kitchen and took two takeaway containers, and brought them over. He loaded them carefully into a large paper bag, sealing them with cutlery. “All yours.”

“Thanks” Leon smiled. “I think your brother’s cooking is doing a number on my waistline.”

Luca chuckled, “I hear that story, practically everyday.”

“I bet you do” Leon agreed as he stood up. “Thanks again.”

Leon felt his face was hot, and he practically wanted to kick himself. How could he not say anything sensible to Peter. It was like in his presence he became dumb struck. Diapers, why on earth did he bring up diapers of all things. Now Peter was more than likely to think he has a fetish. Annoyed he shoved open the door to the sheriffs station.

“What happened?” Drew asked leaning against the counter.

“I ran into Peter and I went stupid” Leon said annoyed.

“And that’s different from normal how?” Drew grinned.

“I just. It’s annoying, I’m better than that.”

“So you’re better than being down bad for a cute boy” Drew teased, “One who is just as interested.”

“He’s been through a tough experience” Leon admitted. “He doesn’t deserve to be treated poorly.”

“You’re going to drag this out aren’t you” Drew said shaking his head.

Leon shifted, “I’m going to eat. You go” he encouraged.

“Alright. Alright..” Drew said surrendering, he handed Leon the phone. “Have fun.”

Leon waved him off, and settled down in the conference room. Opening his dinner as he began to eat. Enjoying the delicious perfection from the diner. If he didn’t want to put up with the amused judgement from Luca he’d have gone to the diner for hangover food.

He settled in setting out paperwork and grazing over his meal. He was midway through the second container when he farted.

Leon smirked a little, and then everything went dark. Leon frowned and switched the flashlight on his phone, “come on” he muttered as he walked to the window, mostly to see there was light outside. Concerningly there was.

He took slow deep breaths trying not to panic. In an event of a power outage the doors would lock. He would be locked in the building. Whoever tampered with the power could have done so from outside. It could be natural, a power line could have come down.

Follow the procedures.

Leon grabbed a torch out of the drawer and the light flickered and faded.

He sighed not remotely surprised.

“Okay plan B” he muttered.

Then the glass smashed.

He turned as he heard the door being opened from the outside.

“Everything is fine, you don’t need to break the glass” Leon called out firmly.

The door shoved open violently, and a man in black suit stepped in, his hair slicked back.

“Sir I’ll ask you again. To step outside please” Leon said calmly his voice even. As he slowly reached for his side arm.

The figure in front, pulled out a silenced pistol, Leon recognised the familiar extended barrel.

“Sir. I’m going to ask you to put the weapon down. I’m Deputy Leon Kennedy” Leon said pulling out his gun.

“Good. I’ve found you” The man said and shot his gun.

Leon felt the bullet pierce his shoulder, he stumbled backwards and the man came close pulling out a large hunting knife and shoved it into Leon’s stomach.

“Now to find Mario’s little bitch boy” The man said calmly.

As Leon fell to the ground of the conference room. The man stood over him, he wiped the bloodied hunting knife on his trousers.

“So where can I find Peter Redfield” The man said firmly.

“Never. Telling you” Leon said gritting his teeth as he forced himself through the pain. He could feel himself fading quickly. He reached for the tape recorder on the table and pressed

And then before he blacked out he heard a familiar boy call out.

“Hello?” As Peter walked into the police station.

Fuck.

Chapter 7

“Who the fuck are you” Connor said standing in front of Peter.

“Hired help” The Figure answered. “Someone was naughty and reported him to the police. It’s causing all sorts of..”

They were interrupted by the sound of a phone ringing. Connor and Peter looked at each other.

The figure with slow precision, knife still brandished retrieved his phone. “Hello” he said as he tapped the loudspeaker. “I found him.”

Peter felt his insides tightening.

“Did you? You better leave him alone” Grayson’s voice growled out of the speaker.

Peter blinked in confusion.

“Who is this?”

“Doesn’t matter. But I have your boss here” Grayson said. “That’s right, fucker scream into the ball gag,”

There was a muffled yell, that Peter instantly recognised. His ex. Grayson was there with his ex.

The figure stood calmly.

“Peter Redfield is protected by Heavyweights MC. So if you touch a single fucking hair on that twinks head. Your boss is going to going to spend the next decade pissing into a bag.”

There was a long moment of silence.

“I’m not hearing an I understand.”

More silence.

The sound of a crowbar smashing into bone, and the muffled scream that echoed out of the speaker. “I don’t like men who abuse their boyfriends. I also don’t like men who don’t know when to quit” Grayson warned. “Now are you going to stand down. Or am I going to break your other hand.”

There was silence. Although Peter couldn’t help but smile just a little.

“Other hand then” Grayson declared.

The scream echoed now, as the sound of the crowbar smashing bone.

“Fuck you! Crazy Fucker! Stand down! Fuck! Stand down!” His ex screamed out of the phone.

“Good. Understand this. Peter is protected. Don’t come near him” Grayson warned. “You fucked up. Big time.”

“On my cue we’re going to bull rush him” Connor whispered into Peter’s ear.

Peter nodded.

“That was a mistake” the figure said into the phone.

“No. It’s a warning. So if you’ve found Peter unfind him. Or your boss will be choking in a pool of his own blood.”

“Stand fucking down!” His ex yelled hoarsely.

The figure slid the knife into his holster.

Connor nudged him. Connor and Peter ran forward. The figure didn’t expect it, he was probably distracted by the phone call. The phone was knocked from his hand and he fell backwards. Connor pinned him expertly, his football skills coming into play.

“What the fuck is happening” Grayson yelled annoyed.

Peter didn’t know what to do. He looked around and saw Leon lying there his shirt stained with blood. His eyes drooping, handcuffs on his belt. Peter grabbed them and scrambled as he fitted them to the figure’s wrists.

“He’s cuffed” Peter said breathing in relaxed. He remembered the knife, he carefully slid it out and threw it at the other end of the room.

Peter puffed, and pulled off his knife and threw it over the other end of the room.

“Okay. We did it” Connor puffed impressed. He straddled the figure’s head and farted into his face. “holy fuck we did it.”

“You okay?” Grayson’s voice asked.

“We handcuffed him” Peter said out of breath.

“Good” Grayson said. “I’m hanging up now.”

“Who was that?” Connor said leaning against the doorway sweating.

“The biker…”

“Fuck..” Connor said with desire.

Peter ignored him and crawled toward Leon.

“Leon. Can you hear me?” Peter asked.

He felt Leon’s hand squeeze his hand gently.

“Connor, call an ambulance” Peter instructed.

They swarmed within five minutes. Paramedics came running before the ambulance had even left the bay. As Peter applied pressure to Leon’s bleeding stomach wound.

“Alright. We’ll take over” The Paramedic said shifting next to Peter. “On Three. You lift your hands up. Okay?”

“Okay” Peter nodded.

“One, two, three” The Paramedic said.

Peter shuffled back, as they began fussing over Leon.

“Can someone get these lights on” One of the Paramedics said, as he held his torch around.

“Powers been cut” Another said.

The sound of sirens rang and more paramedics arrived.

“We need lights!”

Large lamps were set up, as Leon was stabilised.

Peter just stood watching his hands drenched in blood.

“It’s okay” Connor said squeezing Peter’s shoulders.

“What the Hell happened” Sheriff Tom Knight bellowed said lumbering in. He paled when he saw Leon on the ground in the conference room, Peter’s hands covered in blood and the their attacker handcuffed on the ground. “Leon” he choked out.

“He’s fine. Were handling it” A paramedic. “He’s been stabbed. Get the stretcher ready.”

“What the hell happened” The Sherrif repeated, “Who the hell is that?”

“We came to see Leon” Connor explained. “The lights were off, and the door was open. We came in and found this guy, he threatened us. He got a phone call from his boss, and it was enough of a distraction for us to overpower him” Connor explained.

“Dammit. Dammit” The Sheriff grunted lumbering back and forth. His beard greying, and his belly wobbling, with each lumbering step.

Paramedics rolled the stretcher inside and Leon was lifted onto it. As he was brought past and grabbed Peter’s wrist.

“You’ll be okay Leon” Sheriff Knight reassured. “I’ll call your Dad. Okay?” He said carefully removing Leon’s hand from Peter’s wrist.

“Peter..” Leon murmured reaching out for Peter.

“I’ll come see you tomorrow. In the hospital” Peter reassured. “I’ll be okay.”

There was an audible groan, and a rumble as the lights began to flicker on. “Generators up and running” A voice came from inside the building.

“Thanks Drew, Come up and help me take this one to the cells” The Sheriff said kicking the restrained guy with his foot.

A deputy with warm brown skin and a warm grin wadded up and heaved the guy onto his feet. “You can have a night in the cells.”

“What about us?” Connor asked.

The Sheriff looked at them both, and hesitated. “I need statements from both of you. And then you can go” he said. “What a night…” he said shaking his head. “Dammit” he said punching the wall. “I told him I needed more than one Sheriff over night. Budget my ass!”

Peter and Connor were shown to separate rooms. Peter didn’t know why, but he didn’t mention Grayson. Whatever the guy had been ordered to do, Grayson has unintentionally saved them with his own intervention.

“Wanna crash at mine?” Peter asked.

“Yeah. And we’re not telling my Dad about this?” Connor nodded.

“Nope. Not telling mine either” Peter admitted.

“You know. As fucked up as this was. Us turning up probably saved Leon” Connor nudged as they walked out into the cool night air.

“Yeah. I suppose it did” Peter considered.

“He’ll be grateful. And he got to play hero.”

“He was lying in a pool of his blood” Peter grimaced.

“Because he was protecting you from that guy.”

“That’s a guess work” Peter emphasised. “I can’t believe my ex would send someone after me” he shuddered visibly.

“Who did you date? Because that was fucked up.”

“Maximo, he owned this Italian restaurant I got a job at in Seattle.”

“A mafia restaurant maybe?” Connor ventured. “What his name.”

“Mario Vercetti” Peter said.

Connor googled him, “nothing at first. But a bit of digging and his grandfather was an infamous mafioso, who set up a family Italian restaurant” Connor said showing him a picture.

“Ah” Peter winced.

“You’re an idiot” Connor said shaking his head. “Come on. Let’s go back to yours.”

They walked back to the trailer park, and sat down in the kitchen. Peter opened the fridge and grabbed Connor and himself a beer each. “After tonight. We needed that.”

“After tonight? What happened tonight?” Dad asked arms crossed in the doorway.

Peter yelped and jumped a foot in the air, “Dad what the hell.“

“What happened tonight?” Dad repeated an intense formidable glare in his eyes. Peter wanted to hide it from him. But he knew his Dad too well. “My ex… he sent a guy after me. He attacked the sheriffs station and put Deputy Leon in hospital” Peter said calmly.

“Your ex did what?” Dad stared in horror.

“Also, Peter’s abusive ex might have been in the mafia” Connor added talking a sip from the beer.

“Fuck” Dad said shaking his head, he opened the fridge. “That’s the last thing we need. Neither of you did anything to antagonising him did you?

Connor and Peter looked at each other.

“We Rushed him after he got distracted, and restrained him. He’s been locked up.”

“So Leon distracted him?” Dad asked as he grabbed the remainder of the six pack and sat down at the table. One empty seat remained.

“No. Leon was unconscious” Peter admitted. “He got a phone call, from his boss. My ex.”

“That distracted him? How?” Peter and Connor looked at one another. Debating if they should bring Grayson into it. “Well his boss called only. Well, it wasn’t his boss. It was Grayson, who was mid way through beating him up.”

“That fucking kid!” Dad swore. “Dammit. Just stupid like his father.”

There was a roar from the motorbike outside. Dad heaved himself up and lumbered to the door, and bellowed, “Get your ass in here Grayson” Dad glared. “You fucking idiot.”

Dad waddled back in followed by Grayson, whose confidence looked like it’d been knocked slightly. He had cuts on his face and clearly hastily bandaged himself.

“Woah..” Connor murmured beside him.

Peter noticed the slight smirk that reappeared at the sight of Connor and he sat down at the table.

“Okay” Dad said taking a swig of beer. “Did he get your name.”

“I wore a mask. These two didn’t mention my name on the other end. Only identifer was that he was protected by the motorcycle club” Grayson said grabbing a beer and pulling off the cap. “I’m not stupid.”

Dad nodded, “Did you know he’d sent someone?”

“Nah. I went to kick his head in, idiot mentioned it after I kicked his door in” Grayson smirked. “He panicked when I mentioned Peter. I don’t think he realised who his parents were.”

“We never met him” Dad muttered. “If he is mafia. We need to know if we’ve kicked over a hornets next.”

He looked over at Peter and Connor, “what did you tell the Sheriff.”

“Just what happened in person. We didn’t mention we could hear the call.”

“Good. The cameras there are old and thankfully don’t pick up audio. So that’ll keep you out of it” Dad said to Grayson. “We’re not telling your Papa about this. He will kill me, and then you.”

Peter nodded firmly in agreement “Seconded.”

“Isn’t he pregnant?” Grayson scoffed.

“Oh yeah. Don’t peeve off a pregnant man” Dad warned. “Trust me” he said squeezing Grayson’s shoulder warmly.

Dad finished off his beer and let out a loud belch. “Urrrrrrpppppp” he belched patting his gut. “Can one of you boys patch him up. And then we all need some sleep. Then tomorrow I’m going to have to make some calls.” He said before lumbering out.

(Re do? VvV)

“I’ll do it. I’m better at first aid than you” Connor said.

“Fuck your Dad’s fat” Grayson commented spreading his legs and rubbing his crotch. “Are you gonna blow up like that” he said to Peter.

“I think I have my papa’s build” Peter shrugged.

“So you’ll blow up like a sow” Grayson grinned. “Hot” he said his hand going down his pants.

“Don’t start, I want to bandage your hand” Connor said opening the first aid kit.

“Alright tubby, you’ve got a good gut on you. Can’t help but eat can you. You a top.”

“Nope” Connor answered calmly. As he undid the rough makeshift bandage.

“Fuck” Grayson said impressed. “Then you have a boyfriend?” He asked leaning forward.

“Nope” Connor answered as he began to clean the cuts up.

“Really? Interesting” Grayson said leaning back calmly.

Peter frowned and stared between the two of them.

Connor carefully examined Grayson’s face, his fingers gently stroked his cheek. “Uhhhh” Grayson swallowed his hands gripping the table tightly. “Fuck..”

Peter raised an eyebrow.

“You don’t need stitches” Connor said unfazed. “I think you’ll be okay.”

Grayson puffed and stared at Connor his chest heaving.

“You okay there?” Peter grinned amused.

“He’s fine” Connor said amused. “Most guys can’t handle pain.”

“Uh huh” Peter said amused, “I’m going to go to bed” he smiled finishing the beer.

“I’ll be up in a minute” Connor grinned. Clearly having been oblivious to Grayson’s forwardness.

Peter nodded and headed upstairs, smiling amused.

Chapter 8

Leon woke up drowsy and in pain, he forced his eye to slowly open as he saw the walls of a hospital room.

“Hey you’re awake” Dad said as he heaved himself out of the chair.

“Peter?” Leon asked as he remembered, panic in his eyes.

“Is fine. The kid can handle himself” Dad said wryly.

“Is he…”

“Leon he’s fine, he’s at home with his family” Dad said firmly. Leon nodded, but didn’t feel relieved. “He’s a smart kid.”

“Yeah…” Leon said nodding.

“Smart work leaving your tape recorder on” Dad grinned. “Gave me a very interesting tidbit.”

“Oh?” Leon asked. “Or is it better I not know.”

“After you passed out. Our hit man called his boss” Dad smiled and played the recording. Leon listened as the call took an unexpected turn. When he was done, he looked at his Dad confused.

“What…”

“Interestingly both boys neglected to mention the phone call, so they are very aware of who attacked Mr Vercetti. But it is good for us.”

“Is Peter going to be in trouble?” Leon frowned.

“No. Because Mario won’t press charges. It’d look weak and open a legal can of worms. This boy, given the sound of his voice really has done a number on Mario.”

“So a random biker kid, beating Mario with a crowbar is good?”

“Yes. Mario now is injured and needs to seek treatment. My men are talking to the hospitals in Seattle and pin him down before he inevitably goes underground for a while. This whole situation with Peter has given us the biggest advantage we’ve had against the five families in a decade” Dad grinned. “If we take out Mario, suddenly it blows the whole five families wide open.”

“What about Peter? Won’t Mario go for him again?” Leon frowned concerned.

“Oh I don’t doubt he will” Dad admitted, “If he’s smart he’ll move on. If he’s dumb. Well…”

“He’ll try to get him again” Leon noted concerned. “What if this erupts into a gang war.”

Dad looked worried, “I think the heavyweights, wont let it get that far” He said firmly.

“Think or hope?” Leon asked.

Dad didn’t answer.

Dr Wilkinson opened the door and offered a warm smile, “Leon you have some visitors if your up for it?”

“Yeah. I’m okay” Leon confirmed, wondering if Uncle James had decided to check in on him. Peter walked in holding his bottom lip in his mouth. He was in a tight pair of jeans and a blue t-shirt that was almost skin tight. He stood as he held a square Tupperware container. Luca said as smiling side him, and Leon realised it might have been the first time he’d seen Luca out of his fitted red uniform.

“Hey” Peter smiled.

“Hey” Leon grinned.

Leon just stared at him his heart beating faster.

“Oh my god. Connor was right” Luca snorted.

Peter shot him a fierce look.

“This is my Dad” Leon said quickly, realising he was staring too much.

“Hello Sir” Peter said submissively. “I baked this for you, I stress bake..” Peter said offering the container. “I hope you like chocolate? Otherwise I will bake you something else.”

“I love chocolate. I’ll eat any cakes or sweets” Leon smiled, as he took the container and took in the sight of a very delicious chocolate cake. “Fuck” he said licking his lips.

“I figured after last night” Peter admitted.

“Thank you” Leon said squeezing Peter’s hand. “Oh and you’ll be pleased. No diapers.”

Peter laughed, grinning. Leon swooned it was the perfect laugh.

Leon noticed his Dad and Luca looking confused and slightly concerned.

“Anyway. Thanks” Leon smiled.

“Oh and I’ve got your favourites and fresh coffee. I checked with the doctors” Luca smirked as he handed over the coffee and some takeaway container’s.

“Thank you. I’m hungry for real food” Leon said wryly.

“Peter’s quite the cook as well you know” Luca said wryly. “So does this mean you have any scars?”

“Yeah I will” Leon said wryly.

Peter’s face briefly flashed a look of desire.

“Into bad boys are you?” Dad asked curiously.

“No. No. I like protective guys” Peter said uncertainly.

“He’s overdone his quota on bad boys” Luca commented firmly. “So have you been on any more dates recently Leon?”

Leon went bed red, “Not for a little bit. Last one was two weeks ago” I blurted. “There won’t be a second one” he added quickly.

“So very single” Luca nodded. Peter began going red. Luca beamed delighted.

“How.. how long will you be in hospital?” Peter asked honestly.

“A few more days” Leon admitted. “They want to make sure everything heals.”

Peter nodded, “I’ll make sure to visit” he nodded.

Leon smiled, “I look forward to it.”

“Ahem, ah Luca, would you mind if I spoke to Peter Alone for a moment?” Dad asked firmly.

“Dad. It’s fine” Leon said, really not needing his dad to intervene in his love life.

“Anything you can say to Peter you can say to me” Luca added firmly.

“It’s about the ongoing case. I’m the Head of Major Crimes in Seattle. I just have a couple of questions to fill in some blanks?”

“Oh. Right. I’ll be outside” Luca reassured. “You okay?”

“Yeah. I’ll be okay” Peter smiled.

Leon patted the side of the bed letting him sit down, Leon let his hand rest on Peter’s leg. He wanted to reassure him, this whole situation had gotten out of hand.

“So we do have a recording of the conversation the bodyguard took.”

Peter went visibly pale. “Oh.”

“Now don’t get worried. We’re not going to persue it. But I would highly encourage no more stunts toward your ex.”

“He did it on his own. I was just as shocked” Peter addded. Leon could tell he wasn’t lying.

“Okay. Now I wanted to ask, Mario Vercetti. How much about his business did you know?” Dad said. Leon frowned.

“Ah. How do you mean?” Peter said unsure.

“Mario Vercetti is a noted member of the Seattle Five Families. His restaurant is a mafia shell restaurant.”

“It was?” Peter blinked.

“How did you get a job there?” Leon asked.

“It was my placement for culinary school. Mario was the owner, he was nice to me. And then he was sweet. He asked me out, and we started dating. He was protective, and he encouraged me to drop out when he saw I was struggling. He wanted me to move in, and so I could be his sort of stay at home boyfriend” Peter shrugged. It was near the same explanation, he’d gotten back at the station.

“So you were unaware of his business dealings.”

“He’d go out at lot. I assumed it was the restaurant at first. But sometimes it was odd hours. He said not to worry. I didn’t think really look to closely. He never would talk much about work other than if he had a hard day or sometimes restaurant stuff.”

Peter looked worried, that fear in his eyes.

“It’s okay” Leon said.

“I didnt know, i mean he cared so much. He was protective and he didn’t like me talking to my friends. But I never really looked to closely. I kept talking about having a baby. It’s what the fight was about…” Peter’s eyes began to water and he stared to cry.

Leon felt his whole body clench, and shot an annoyed look at his dad. “it’s okay” Leon said hugging Peter against him.

“No. No it’s not, he hurt you. He’ll come back again” Peter sniffed between tears.

“I can protect myself” Leon reassured.

“Your in hospital” Peter protested. “This is my fault. I should call him, tell him to…”

“No” Leon said gutterally. Peter stared a little shaken. “No. Don’t call him. Believe me, I can look after myself.”

Dad half heartedly handed Peter a tissue.

Peter wiped his tears, “Sorry.”

“Don’t be” Leon reassured, “You’ve been through a lot.”

Dad shifted uncomfortably, “Thankyou for answering my questions. I need to sort some things out with the Sherriff. I’ll see you later Leon.” Dad promptly exited.

“Sometimes he gets too focused on work. It’s not personal” Leon sighed from experience. “So you wanted a baby? You want kids?”

“Yeah. I want a big noisy family, lots of children” Peter admitted.

“You’d look beautiful pregnant” Leon replied. “I mean. Errr…”

Peter smiled genuinely, “Thanks. Need to find a not abusive guy though.”

“I’m sure you will” Leon smiled, his had rubbed Peter’s stomach. “So why did you come see me yesterday? Before everything well” he sighed.

Peter looked away, “My friend Connor, he was being…forward. He thinks that you. Doesn’t matter.”

Leon smiled at him, “Okay” he said reaching up and gently rubbing his cheek. “I hope you’ll keep your promise to come visit.”

“Oh for the love of” Luca muttered through the door.

“This is painful” Dad agreed.

“Guys” I called out annoyed, My cheeks flushing.

The door opened and they smiled indulgently, Peter hadn’t picked up on it.

“I thought you were going?” Leon said frowning.

“Sorry. Just the doctor said you should be able to go home tomorrow. I thought I’d pick up the keys get your fridge stocked” Dad smiled.

Leon’s face fell, and he forced a fake smile. “Right. Don’t worry, it was full anyway” he promised.

“Still. I’ll pop in” Dad said. “You’ll need someone to keep an eye on you. And Your uncles will be too busy.”

Leon nodded, and looked at Peter desperately. “I can” Peter added, “I don’t mind.”

“My house is a mess” Leon hissed through his teeth.

“Are you sure. It’s no issue” Dad said firmly.

“Dad it’s fine. You don’t need to go out of your way” Leon insisted.

“Right. Still…” Dad said frowning.

“Dad I’ll manage” Leon reaffirmed.

“I’ll check on him every day, and make sure there are meals in the fridge” Peter insisted.

“See” Leon said.

“Alright” Dad surrendered. “I’ll go then.”

Leon smiled politely and sighed exasperated the moment dad had gone. “My house is a pig sty. I couldn’t let him get near it. I’d have never heard the end of it.”

“I’m sure it’s not that bad” Peter offered reassuringly.

“I live like a slob” Leon warned.

Peter’s cheeks blushed a little. Interesting.

“You know. Maybe you should trade numbers so you can test. A thing normal people do” Luca suggested.

Peter offered his phone and Leon added his number and sent a text. “You can text me anytime” He promised.

“I will. Within reason I mean” Peter grinned. “Don’t want to distract you.”

“Distract away. I’ll be at home on leave for a while” Leon admitted. “The company would be nice.”

“Okay” Peter grinned. “Great.”

“Great” Leon smiled back wishing he had the confidence to kiss him.

Chapter 9

“What do you think?” Peter asked as he walked out of the bathroom. The red romper was quite fitted, as the white apron complimented the look.

“Like the perfect waiter” Nick Messina grinned as he turned from the grill. The smell almost mouth watering. “Keep the orders clear and put the table numbers on it.”

Peter nodded as he grabbed a notepad and pen. “Will do. Anything else to keep in mind.”

“Smile and be friendly, anything can be smoothed over with a smile” Nick grinned. “And an extra helping of pie.”

“I’ll keep that in mind” Peter agreed.

“Alright, and hopefully we can put a bit of weight on you” Nick commented. “You’re stick thin.”

Peter shifted, feeling that mortification that embarrassment over his body, over his place in society.

“Relax” Nick reassured, “and enjoy the ride.”

Peter nodded, but his curiosity peaked, “why isn’t Luca the size of a house.”

“Because he’s stubborn” Nick said wryly. “Get out there. Luca showed you the ropes.”

Peter nodded and walked out into the diner. He walked over to the front door and flipped the sign to open, unlocking the door. He went behind the U-shaped counter that sat in the centre of the diner. And began doing each thing on the checklist that Luca explained for the coffee machine. The bell above the door rattled, and a hefty builder walked in, broad shoulders and dark hair. He looked handsome and thick. “Welcome” Peter smiled warmly, “what can I get you?”

He stared at Peter momentarily thrown, “four expresso’s.”

“Can do” Peter smiled, as he put through the order and offered the payment system.

“Is err. Luca working?” He asked.

“He’s on the lates now” Peter explained.

“Ah, damn” he frowned.

Peter eyed the beefy builder whose navy shirt was stretched over his meaty moobs and belly. He was easily double his age. “I could leave a message for him, if it’s urgent.”

The man considered for a moment and nodded. Peter ripped off a sheet from his order pad and slid it over to the builder.

“Tell him Henry Stopped by” Henry said scribbling his number.

“I will” Peter said delighted, as he began on the four coffees. Putting them into takeaway cups and a cardboard tray before handing them to Henry. “We’ll see you again, and i’ll make sure to let Luca know you asked after him” Peter winked playfully.

“Thanks” Henry said shifting awkwardly, his cheeks blushing gently.

Peter waved him off, as the morning rush began. People working in town a lot councillors coming in for their morning coffee. He was getting used to balancing everything. Some diners sat in, and he began ferrying orders out to each table. As the morning rush subsided, everything calmed down.

A familiar off duty Deputy lumbered in. Peter frowned at him, “Your supposed to be at home.”

“I was going stir crazy” Leon said wryly. “Thought I might treat myself an eat in.” He patted his belly, “I’ve put on two pounds.”

“Ooh. How impressive” Peter said sarcastically.

“I worked hard eating all that food you cooked” Leon smiled.

“Do you need more?” Peter asked honestly, concerned glancing across his face.

Leon chuckled, “I’m fine really. You don’t need to bring more food.”

“I promised your Dad I’d keep an eye on you. So I’m doing that” Peter said handing Leon a menu. “Take a seat. And I’ll take your order in a couple of minutes.”

“I should be the one looking after you. I’m not the one who’s ex sent a hitman” Leon frowned. “I probably shouldn’t make jokes.”

Peter shrugged, “The reality is I didn’t know him. Not like I thought I did.”

Leon had a curious look on his face. “I like sleeping naked.”

Peter blinked and looked around, wondering if anyone else had heard it. “Really.”

“Really” Leon said wryly, “So how are the donuts today?”

“Delicious” Peter grinned.

“Then I’ll have two donuts while I figured out the menu” Leon smiled.

Peter blushed, “Two donuts it is.”

Peter turned to the cabinet and slid the glass door open, he grabbed a pair of tongs and took out two donuts and placed them on a plate. He smiled as he offered the plate to Leon. “Here..” Peter smiled looking at brown eyes. He reached down and pickup the donut and offered it to Leon’s lips.

Leon moaned as he chewed, cheeks bulging with donut.

Suddenly Peter felt his cheeks warm, as he noticed the other diners were staring at them. “I’ll leave you to browse the menu.”

Leon nodded chewing, smiling back.

Peter noticed Nick was leaning against the server window grinning. Peter felt his face redden as he approached Nick. “Sorry, that was inappropriate.”

“Maybe. But it was hot as hell” Nick grinned. “So you and Leon.”

“We’re just friends” Peter answered.

“Nah. That was something else. If you’re not careful you’ll be wearing paternity clothes next Christmas” Nick teased.

Peter flushed, “We’re not dating. Just friends. I’ve been through a lot and…”

“Yeah. That doesn’t mean you should write yourself off” Nick reassured. “And I wanted to say you’re doing a good job. You’re a natural.”

“Thank you” Peter smiled.

“Go to take Leon’s order and once it’s ready

You can take your break. Luca should be in shortly.”

Peter handed Nick, Leon’s order. “I’ll make sure to double this” Nick teased.

“What?” Peter blinked.

“I told you. I’m going to make sure I chub you up” Nick said wiping his hands on his greasy apron. “People like fatter waiters.”

“Oh not this again” The back door opened, and Luca walked in. “You should ignore him. It’s his love language, fattening every twink he hires.”

“Now don’t be jealous Little Bro” Nick said wryly. “Peter’s very taken.”

“What? I am not?” Peter protested.

“Oh. Is Leon out there” Luca snorted.

“Yep. Peter fed him a donut” Nick chuckled.

“Oh you’re so embarrassing” Luca laughed as he looked through the window. “How did this morning go?”

“Good. Oh! And Henry asked for you. He left his number” Peter said offering him the piece of paper. Luca went to reach for the paper but Peter snatched it further back. “Who’s Henry. We have a pact.”

Luca’s eyes narrowed, “grr.. fine..” he dragged Peter into the storage cupboard. “No listening in” he warned to Nick. Nick rolled his eyes.

“So?” Peter said waiting.

“He’s the guy who wants me to be the surrogate. Or I thought he did?” Luca admitted.

“Damn. He is a Daddy material” Peter admitted.

“His fiancé left him and I he said he didn’t want to go ahead with it” Luca admitted. “I suggested he go through it anyway. He said he’d think about it.”

“I think he did more than think” Peter admitted.

“You think so?” Luca asked.

“You do like him” Peter grinned.

“And Leon?”

Peter face went red, “Can we not talk about that.”

“If you can’t talk about that. You can’t ask about Henry” Luca replied.

“Fine. In that case… I would like to point out that Connor has been sniffing about Biker boy” Peter said firmly.

“Who?” Luca frowned.

“Oh right you haven’t met” Peter realised.

“There are customers waiting” Nick said firmly. “And Peter you need your break before the lunch rush.”

“Come on. We’ll reconvene after the lunch rush” Luca said wryly, as he opened the door.

“I’ve got deputy Leon’s bulk sized order” Nick smiled. “Enjoy your break.”

Peter carried the tray over to the booth where Leon was now sitting, “Your meal.”

Leon looked at the tray curiously, “More than I ordered.”

“My treat” Peter said setting the trays out. “I’ve got my break if you’d like me to join you?”

Leon grinned and slid over. “You can help me eat this.”

Peter smiled and sat down beside him, “So two pounds.”

“Yeah” Leon smiled as he filled a forkful of food.

“Why didn’t you get fat sooner? You’re swimming upstream” Peter said wryly.

“Waiting for the right guy” Leon said as he squeezed Peter’s thigh. “There’s no fun in being a lone wolf.” Leon offered the forkful to Peter, who opened his mouth and swallowed.

Peter wondered what they were, friends. Or.

“So. What are you saying?” Peter asked cautiously.

Leon shifted slightly, and he looked at Peter intensely. “Jonah’s.”

Peter blinked, “what?”

“Tonight. I’m taking you to Jonah’s, and I’m going to fatten you up. I’m going to feed you, and ruin that body” Leon was panting, and Peter glanced down. Nothing that Leon was now full erect. “I need you to be mine.”

Peter felt his cheeks lite up. “You….” He was dumb struck. All the time he’d been with Mario, he’d never felt wanted. Needed like this.

“Say yes” Leon said searching Peter’s face for an answer.

“Yes” Peter blushed.

“Good. I’ll pick you up at your place at six” Leon smiled, “And I’m going to take you to dinner. And feed you up.”

Peter leaned over, “And what about your gut?”

“There’s food on the table” Leon smiled as he shoved a fork into his mouth. “Get eating.”

Peter grinned back, and began to devours the heavy meal. It was genuinely delicious.

“Urrrpppp” Peter belched.

Leon grinned and patted Peter’s stomach. “Good work” he smiled approvingly.

“I should get to work” Peter admitted.

“I won’t keep you. But I would like the bill and then I’ll see you tonight” Leon smiled.

“I’ll get you the bill” Peter nodded, as he walked around the counter. “Leon asked me out.”

“Well, that was inevitable” Luca smiled wryly.

“It was not” Peter murmured flushing.

“Yes it was. You were pining Hard!” Luca teased.

Chapter 10

Leon looked at his reflection in the mirror. He wasn’t sure if the shirt was a good idea. But he wanted to look nice. Presentable. He needed to make a good impression, not only on Peter but his family.

He’d shaved, showered. He was trying harder than the other dates he’d been on in a long while.

He glanced down at his phone, his Dad’s name on the screen.

“Hi Dad” Leon groaned as he answered.

“Hey Kiddo” Dad smiled, “How’s recovery, that boy checking in on you.”

“Yeah he is” Leon smiled. “If anything I’m getting sick of being at home.”

“Well. Time off doesn’t hurt” Dad reassured.

“Yeah. How often do you take time off?” Leon teased.

Dad snorted, “fair enough. Fair enough.”

“So I’m taking Peter out on a date tonight?” Leon said honestly.

“Good. If you’d left it too much longer, I might have to yell at you?” Dad said firmly.

Leon sighed, “I’m talking it slow, for his sake and mine.”

“Not too slow” Dad said firmly.

Leon shook his head, “Dad has their been any updates.”

“Mario has gone underground, we shook down a few hospitals and sure enough Mario was getting treated and left when he got wise. If he’s smart he’ll keep his head down.”

“You don’t think he’s smart. Do you?” Leon asked.

“Leon. I can’t tell you even if I do” Dad said honestly. “Sorry.”

“Was there anything else Dad?” Leon asked.

“Just wanted to see you were okay? Men stronger than you have struggled to get through an experience like that.”

“I guess it helps I haven’t been going through it alone” Leon admitted. “Peter has been looking after me, I think mostly to distract himself. Anyway he started at the diner today, and honestly he has this cute uniform that’s so tight around his ass it’s..distracting.”

“Leon. I don’t need that much detail about my future son in law” Dad replied.

“Sorry, just nervous. I want. No I need this to go well” Leon admitted.

“Be yourself, and if your instincts are telling you he’s the one. Listen to them” Dad explained. “That should be the one lesson you learned from Kevin. Listen to your instincts.”

Leon knew what he meant, “thank you.”

Leon finished getting ready, and hopped in his truck. He’d already spent time cleaning it out of burger wrappers and other trash. If he was going to date Peter he really had to warn him about how messy he was. He parked out front of Peter’s house. He’d been out to the trailer park a few times mostly for the occasional tourist during the grow off. It was by far a tame bunch of locals who rented the trailers. He straightened his shirt, and grabbed the bouquet of flowers he’d bought from ‘Bulk Buy.’

The door opened mere moments after he knocked the screen door acting as barrier.

“Hello, I’m here for a date with Peter.”

“Bro…it’s my brother” Heath frowned.

“Yes. And?”

“You need my permission” Heath declared.

“Heath. Leave him alone” Scott said waddling up to the door, letting him in. “Looking very handsome there.”

The huge bulk of Carter Redfield lumbered down the stairs. “So Leon, what are your intentions with my son.”

“Oh for the love of..” Scott said glaring at Carter.

“Can’t be too careful” Heath agreed firmly.

“You. Out” Scott to Heath. “And Leon ignore Carter.” Scott smiled rubbing his belly. “Peter your date is here!” He called upstairs.

Peter appeared at the top of the stairs, Connor standing encouragingly behind him. He took Leon’s breath away, “Wow” he smiled looking up at him.

Peter’s cheeks blushed, as he smiled at Leon. “Hi.”

“Hi” Leon smiled, “I got these for you” he smiled as he offered the flowers.

“They’re great” Peter smiled. “I wasn’t sure how fancy to dress. I’ve never been to Jonah’s.”

“You look perfect” Leon reassured.

“Let me just grab my phone, and put these in water, and then I’ll be ready to go” Peter smiled, holding the flowers.

“I’m ready when you are” Leon smiled.

Carter squeezed Leon’s shoulder, “What are your intentions with Peter.”

Leon knew why he was asking, everything Peter had been through. “I want…” Leon took a steadying breath. “I want to fatten him up, and protect him. And marry him and breed him” Leon said feeling his words rapidly get away from him.

Carter chuckled, “Well, I didn’t need that much detail” he smiled at Leon. “As long as you won’t hurt him.”

“I wouldn’t” Leon said firmly.

“Good” Carter smiled. “And you might be best bribing Heath with a six pack of beer.”

“I’ll keep that in mind.”

“Okay ready” Peter smiled appearing. He looked over at Carter. “Dad. Stop trying to scare him.”

“I have too. It’s my job, and I did a rubbish job last time” Carter said.

“Dad” Peter said gently. “I’ll be okay. Leon isn’t Mario.” He smiled at me the most beautiful effortless smile, “I feel safe with him.”

Leon smiled and took Peter’s hand squeezing it gently. Leon knew he loved him in that moment. “Ready?” He asked.

“Yeah” Peter smiled, as he let Leon lead him to his truck.

“I spent a lot of the afternoon cleaning it” Leon admitted. “It will probably never be this clean again.”

Peter laughed, as Leon held the door open, “Good I was wondering what your flaw was.”

Leon smiled climbing in as Peter slid across.

“My flaw?”

“Yeah. That you’re a slob” Peter said delighted.

“You’re far too happy about that” Leon said as he started the car.

“Flaws make us human” Peter smiled. “And I’ve learned that it’s better to embrace flaws than ignore them.”

Leon smiled, “What are your flaws then?” He enquired.

Peter grinned mischievously, “I have to keep some mystery to myself.”

“Oh I see” Leon chuckled. “What’s your favourite movie?”

Peter considered, “I have to pick one? Oh that’s so hard.”

“Just one” Leon said wryly.

“Okay. Well…” Peter whined in complaint. “Doughboys 2.”

“The second one?” Leon said chuckling in disbelief.

“Yes. You can’t judge me.”

“Oh I very much can” Leon laughed. “At least I know what your flaw is now. Bad taste in movies” Leon teased.

Peter pouted, and Leon smiled at him, “It’s hard to pick one favourite.”

“Uh huh” Leon grinned, “Just means lots of movies nights on the couch.”

Peter smiled wryly, “With Buttered Popcorn?”

“Absolutely” Leon smiled.

“I’ve never been to Jonah’s before” Peter admitted.

“Really?” Leon said surprised.

“My family aren’t exactly the kind of people who visit fancy restaurants” Peter shifted.

“Then I’m glad I get to treat you” Leon smiled.

Peter smiled back at him.

Jonah’s restaurant sat out on the pier with terrific views of lake Pinguis. It was the fanciest restaurant in town by a mile and was usually the go to spot for fancy meals. Leon opened the door and let Peter walk in, he could see the hesitance on his face. As he felt out of place.

“Table for two, booked under Kennedy” Leon smiled at the hefty waiter, whose white shirt looked like it wouldn’t last another meal. With how it seemed painted on every roll. An evil thought wondered how long it would take for Peter to be spilling out of his every shirt.

“This way” The waiter smiled on his pudgy face, lumbering around the restaurant as he led them to a table that overlooked the lake.

“Wow” Peter murmured.

“It’s a great view” Leon smiled as he offered the chair for Peter.

“Here are your menus” The waiter said handing one of each.

“So how are we doing this?” Peter asked as he looked through the menu. The pensive look on his ever suggested he was concerned about the price.

“I’m paying” Leon reassured. “But the packages are at the back.”

Peter flipped the menu to the back and looked at the bulk meal packages. “I don’t know how much of this I can do?” Peter said honestly.

“They are for two people” Leon pointed out. “Unless you’re really really greedy.”

Peter smiled, “Okay. Good because I don’t want you overestimating how much I can eat.”

“I think you’ll surprise me” Leon grinned, “how about number 2?”

“Oh. With the pasta Alfredo? Yes please” Peter beamed.

“Now I think I see how you ended up being the house boy of a mafia boss.”

“I do like Italian” Peter admitted.

“Lucky for you. I’m half Italian” Leon said wryly.

“Unlucky for my waistline” Peter said wryly.

“that depends on perspective” Leon smiled.

“Can I get you in any drinks to start?” The waiter said.

“I’ll have a cola” Peter asked.

“I’ll have a cola and can we order package number two to share” Leon smiled. “Are you sure you don’t want a wine or anything?”

“It’s tempting. But a cola is fine.”

“I’ll bring the drinks out shortly then.”

Leon smiled across at Peter, “So your family seem very protective of you.”

“Yeah. My Dad and brother feel guilty, i think. I don’t know why, it’s not up to them who you date.”

“They’re still your family. Although I think your brother will probably give me a hard time” Leon said wryly. “Bros before boys and all that.”

Peter snorted, “He needs to leave the house more.”

Leon grinned, “You don’t see eye to eye.”

“We disagree on a lot” Peter offered diplomatically.

“Clearly” Leon smiled, “I’m an only child, my parents wanted more but my Papa got sick after I was born.”

“Oh. I’m sorry” Peter said gently.

“Thanks” he said stiffly, it was a reflex. His Papa who he missed died a long while ago. He didn’t feel the need to constantly bring it up. But then he wanted Peter in his life he needed to know everything. Even if it meant swallowing down the pity.

“So you have lots of cousins” Peter said wryly.

“So many” Leon sighed. “I love them to bits. But yeah. There’s a lot, Christmas was interesting.”

“I have a couple of cousins, my Dad is an only child. Long story. But apparently we have some distant second cousins in England.”

“Really?” Leon said surprised.

“Long story. Dad jokes were related to royalty” Peter snorted.

Drinks and appetisers began to arrive, and Peter instantly began tearing at the bread sticks.

“I like bread” Peter warned self consciously.

Leon smiled and slid the bread over towards Peter. “Have at it.”

Peter’s cheeks blushed, and Leon squeezed his hand. “I’m never going to shame you over your appetite.”

“Old habits” Peter admitted guilty, as he shoved a mouthful of bread in.

“I told you, I want to see you get fat” Leon said firmly. “Fat and greedy.”

Peter smiled boyishly, “You are very good at getting my attention.”

“Good” Leon said firmly. “Because I mean what I say. And trust is a two way street.”

“So you’ll let me fatten you up?” Peter asked.

“I will eat anything you put in front of me” Leon said patting his gut. “Your care packages have done more damage than this town has done.”

Peter beamed, “I like cooking for people I care about. I was always in the kitchen with Dad.”

“Not your Papa?” Leon said surprised.

“They took turns. But Papa liked me helping Papa as it meant the kitchen wouldn’t be burned down” Peter grinned.

“I can’t cook either” Leon chuckled.

Peter grinned, “Good.”

“Someone has to stay at home with our kids” Leon smiled.

Peter blushed, “Kids.”

“Yeah. I don’t want to wait forever. I want to be immobile one day” Leon smiled.

“Woah” Peter blushed, an intense look of desire flashing across his face.

“I’m not going to rush you to bed” Leon admitted honestly. “As much as I really want too.”

“Probably wise” Peter agreed. “You’ll kiss me before that.”

“Without a doubt” Leon reassured.

The main meals arrived, two juicy steaks with roasted vegetables glazed in garlic butter and herbs. A bowl of creamy Alfredo pasta, garnished with Parmesan.

Peter ate with enthusiasm, the worry occasionally crossing his face. As he enthusiastically ate mouthful’s.

“This is so good” Peter moaned.

Leon smiled, although part of him wished they were in a booth together, and he could caress his belly. “Glad you enjoy it.”

There was a comfort between them as they ate, this building sense of trust between them. To eat the large servings, their bellies slowly filling up. Small talk and jokes as they enjoyed each other’s company.

“Urrrppp” Peter burped impressively.

“Full?” Leon’s lips quirked in a smirk.

“Stuffed” Peter admitted.

“There’s still dessert” Leon said wryly.

“Ohhhh” Peter groaned.

Leon pulled his chair back, and patted his lap. “Come here.” Peter blushed as red as a tomato but stood and sat down in Leon’s lap. Leon kissed the nape of his neck and let his finger drag around Peter’s waist. He could feel the bloat in his stomach. His finger not sinking into Peter’s flesh. “You are very full.”

“I did urrrp tell you” Peter belched.

“Could be fuller” Leon smiled, he took a spoon and heaved a large amount of dessert on it. He offered to Peter’s lips. Peter swallowed it gently, chewing and swallowing. Before he could protest another spoonful was fed.

“Just eat. And then squeeze my hand if it becomes too much” Leon reassured as he gently rubbed Peter’s belly. “I know you can do it” he whispered seductively, as he fed Peter large mouthfuls. The moans and groans as his full mouth swallowed each mouthful. “Eat like my pig. My big fat boy.”

Peter groaned his mouth bulging with food. Leon smiled as he managed to encourage Peter to push himself to his limit. His belly taut and swollen to its heaviest, a tiredness crossing his face.

“Oof” Peter moaned.

“You did good work” Leon resssured, he guided Peter’s hands to his belly. “Feel that. You did that.”

Peter looked so desperate for him, “Mhmm.. yeah…”

“Yeah. I ate everything you gave me. All of it…” Leon licked his lips.

Peter pressed his hands against my gut, “I want to make you heavy. Big….a big fat..”

“Yeah…” Leon groaned he couldn’t help himself, he felt himself grind against Peter.

Peter turned back to the table and grinned boyishly. “If you’ve got time to talk. You’ve got time to eat.”

“Urghhh” Leon moaned gutturally, as the bowl was pressed to his lips, the slightly melted creamy desssert being poured into his mouth.

Peter’s hand on the back of Leon’s neck. “All of it. I want a fat greedy blob. Breeding big boys” Peter said with an intense need. “I need a fat husband who has to eat to get through sex. Who’s struggling to fit in that sheriffs uniform” Peter whispered as he now straddled Leon.

Leon felt so achingly erect. As Peter forced the dessert down his throat. His fat belly bloating steadily further.

“You want that don’t you” Peter grinned. “And I’ll be at home. Cooking for you, feeding you every night.”

“Preg..urrrppp…nant” Leon belched out between mouthfuls as Peter tapped the bottom of the bowl.

“Yeah, I want a full womb” Peter agreed. “Leon’s breeder.”

Leon groaned and felt his cock cum in his trousers. The pressure releasing from his balls. He sagged as he felt a wave of embarrassment wash over him. “Fuck…”

Peter’s eyes widened, “Did I..” he stared at Leon smiling.

“Yeah. Sorry..” Leon said looking over his shoulder hoping none of the other diners cottoned on.

Peter just smiled and stood and led him toward the bathroom. Peter ushered him into the large stall and locked the door. He reached over and began undoing the button. He felt Peter carefully peel back his underwear, his mouth touching his semi erect shaft. Licking him clean slowly. “Let me clean you up.”

“Peter you don’t… oh fuck. That feels good” Leon said sliding his shirt up.

Peter’s hand tugged on his balls, “Mhmm yeah” Peter moaned as he began to suck.

“Ohh fuck” Leon groaned deeply at Peter’s tongue working on his shaft.

Peter moaned and as his mouth went to work, sucking. It was embarrassing how long it had been since he’d had any attention like this.

“Suck me. Yeah…ohhhh” Leon moaned feeling the saliva drip down his chin. Feeling his balls churn, as he thought of the cute boy between his legs. Moaning as his cock stretched his mouth. His moans became more intense as Peter’s sloppy sucking continued his cock becoming covered in a heavy layer of saliva. Leon’s hands rubbing his bloated belly as he let his eyes go crosseyed. “Uhhhh…” he needed to cum again. His big fat load was coming, he groaned gutturally, reaching down and making sure Peter’s mouth didn’t pull away. He felt Peter suck the remaining from the head of his cock.

Peter pulled his head away, a look of bliss on his face, “Feeling better?”

Leon’s face flushed, “We shouldn’t have. It’s our first..”

“I wanted too” Peter reassured. “I haven’t had that many guys that into me before.”

Leon smiled as he did his pants up, “Okay. I believe you.”

“Good you better” Peter beamed, “because that was very fun. And I definitely want a second date.”

Leon chuckled and pulled Peter into a hug, “Your getting so many dates.”

“Good” Peter smiled, but hesitated to kiss him.

Leon smiled and kissed him firmly, his hand holding the back of his head. “Mine” he moaned as he kissed Peter.

Peter melted into his embrace and kissed back, the passion being stoked between them. That realisation that Leon ached for him, in every way. That he wouldn’t push him

Away. “I think..”

Leon kissed him firmly, his tongue pushing into his mouth. He needed him to understand to know. That he didn’t need to say it. Just that they he needed to know Peter was wanted.

They broke the kiss and both were out of breath.

“That was..”

“Amazing” Leon grinned. “I better go pay for dinner.”

“If you don’t get me home, my Dad will hunt you down.”

“I believe you” Leon grinned. “Do I get a second date?”

“You could propose right now and I’d say yes” Peter laughed and then cupped his mouth in horror when he realised what he’d admitted.

“Don’t tempt me” Leon said kissing his cheek.

Chapter 11

Peter: Okay. So Leon is the best ever. We went for ice cream and he bought me a whole litre.

Connor: Lol. He is feeding you uppppp.

Peter: He is a little bit yeah.

Luca: WOW, I actually thought you’d deny it. Because your work uniform is getting snug.

Peter: Is it that noticeable

Luca: Yeah. The shirt is painted on, and your ass is noticeable.

Peter: As my friends you are meant to tell me.

Connor: No we are not. Especially now you have a boyfriend.

Peter: We’re not official. And also what about Grayson? Hmm

Luca: Who?

Peter: Biker boy. Don’t think I haven’t noticed you’ve visited the trailer park and not seen me.

Connor: Err. Kind of thought I was getting away with it.

Peter: You were not. Not remotely.

Connor: He’s a hot biker in leather. It’s just. It’s a lot. Okay.

Luca: Heh, you’re as bad as Peter. I’m actually crying with laughter IRL.

Peter: ONE WORD

Connor: ?

Peter: Henry

Luca: …

Connor: Who?

Peter: Just a guy who’s interested in Luca. Did you ever call him?

Luca: Yeah. I did.

Connor: Oh this is the surrogacy guy?

Peter: That’s the one, he is a big hunky Dadddy. AND?

Luca: It’s complicated. But…

Connor: But?

Luca: He wants us to have a baby. And maybe something more. It’s a whole thing.

Connor: Damn. And when you say Daddy? What’s the age gap there?

Luca: Double my age.

Connor: Oh wow. So actual daddy!

Luca: Yeah. It’s really hard not to be hard beside him.

Peter: Leon blew a load in his pants on our first date. And then I sucked him off.

Connor: PETER

Peter: It was hot. He came from me sitting in his lap. He wanted me.

Luca: You almost made it sound sappy. Almost. Slut.

Peter: OI!

Connor: This means we’re all seeing people.

Peter: Other than Wyatt.

Wyatt: I’m glad you bottoms haven’t forgotten me.

Luca: Wyatt!

Connor: Wyatt!

Peter: Wyatt!

Wyatt: Hello. I finally get into a cellphone range and my phone overheats with the amount of messages.

Peter: Sorry

Wyatt: Nah. Reading all this, it’s been nice. Reminds me of the old days

Luca: You know you can visit.

Wyatt: I know. I need to.

Connor: We feel very neglected

Wyatt: Don’t you all have boyfriends now?

Luca: Boyfriend is a strong word.

Peter: We need to catch up! And have a night out?

Connor: Yes. Not the Loading Dock though. Anywhere else.

Luca: Where else is there? There’s only one bar in town.

Peter: What about Heavyweights?

Connor: …Really

Luca: I’m down for it.

Wyatt: The Biker bar? When?

Peter: Saturday night, obviously.

Wyatt: I’ll meet you there. I might end up having to bring a few mates. So I’m just warning you in advance.

Peter: Ooh solider boys

Luca: Careful I’ll tell Leon next time he comes into the diner.

Peter: I don’t meddle with your relationship. Okay meet at my place at 8:30? If you want to get ready, and then we’ll head there at 9:30.

Connor: Great.

Wyatt: I’ll meet you guys there.

Peter: It’ll be good to see you.

Leon: Hey, what are you doing tonight?

Peter: I’m having a nite out with mates.

Leon: Damn and I was hoping you’d get to enjoy my couch, and a few pizza pies.

Peter: Sorry. Tomorrow night?

Leon: Hmm, if your busy this tonight I might be able to get Sunday off instead. I’ll let you know.

Peter: Okay, good. I can’t neglect my friends too much.

Leon: I have been stealing all your time.

Peter: I don’t mind

Leon: Enjoy your night out. No kissing other boys. You’re all mine.

Peter: Officially?

Leon: Yeah Officially, as I said you’re mine.

Peter: ❤️💕❤️

Leon: So what are you wearing tonight?

Peter scrolled up and sent the photo he’d taken of himself standing between Connor and Luca. Wearing denim shorts, and a baby blue crop top.

Leon: Fuck. Any chance of a shot showing off your butt

Peter: If I remember.

“We’re almost there” Connor nudged him.

Peter looked up, as they walked past the pier, on the right sitting contrastingly beside the gym was ‘The Loading Dock.’ A line of beefy men in skimy tight clothing were slowly being let into the club.

“Last chance” Luca teased.

“I’d rather drink paint thinner” Connor grimaced.

A whistle cut through the air, and the three boys instantly knew they were being stared at.

“That’s why” Connor grimaced, speeding up slightly.

Peter laughed, as they walked the remainder of the way up to Augustus Ave. The Strip club sat on the corner, looking a little tired with its Leon lights and run down looking building.

“One day we should visit there” Luca suggested.

“It’s overrated” Connor admitted. “And it looses its appeal when the strippers are more interested in you than the regular clientele.”

“Clearly a missed career opportunity there” Peter grinned.

Sitting slightly behind and away from the road was the Heavy Hitters Bar. A series of motorcycles and a couple of trucks that had seen better days.

“This is it” Luca said dubiously.

“Someone didn’t want to go the Loading Dock” Peter grinned. “I’m sure it’ll be great.”

“Ever the optimist” Luca smirked.

Peter bounded up and pushed open the grimy doors. Revealing a well worn bar. The wooden floor was slightly worn and had seen better days. The tables were scattered around, the bar was heaving in size and at point might have been expensive. But now looked very tired.

“Hmm” Luca said dubiously.

The regulars big fat men in leather jackets or flannel looked up confused at the trio.

“Let’s give it a bit” Peter added his enthusiasm slowing slightly.

“Then we drink” Connor grinned, he pulled out his card as they walked up to the bar.

The bartender a tall, broad man with short brown hair and a thick layer of stubble over his jaw. His gut firm and fat with years of food and beard was straining his shirt. “What can I get you boys?” He asked amusement crossing his face.

“One Jug of beer, and vodka sunrises for these two” Connor said.

“Not beer drinkers?” The bartender chuckled.

“It tastes like yeast” Peter grimaced.

“You sound like that mechanic Scott” The Bartender said as he filled a jug with the amber liquid.

“That’s my Papa.”

The bartender blinked and stared at him, “Fuck you’ve grown up.”

Peter grinned.

They carried over their drinks to a table, Peter eyed the jukebox in the corner.

“I feel like this place needs music” Peter commented.

“I feel like Connor should have sucked it up and we could have gone to the loading dock” Luca huffed.

Connor gave him the finger as he downed a pint and belched loudly, “Urrrrrrppppp”

“Porker” Luca grinned.

“Yeah. Someone has to be” Connor said patting his gut.

“Wait till we all have kids” Peter laughed taking a sip.

“You two, it’ll be a dam breaking. You’ll explode in size” Connor said taking a large swig.

Peter and Luca, suddenly went very red.

Connor smirked and took another swig, “exactly. Breeders both of you.”

“Three of you” Grayson said appearing.

Connor straightened, flushing as Grayson squeezed his shoulder. “Drink all that up tubby” Grayson whispered in his ear as he wandered to the bar.

“Damn. That was kind of hot” Luca muttered. “I can see it now. He has this..”

“Yeah” Connor gasped out, on the verge of loosing control. “He’s yeah.”

Peter grinned, “I’m happy for you.”

“He’s pretty good” Connor smiled. “It’s early days yet.”

“What did your dad think?” Luca snorted.

“Uh. Not his first preference, but he’s being protective. I get it, he did have to raise me alone.”

“I don’t want to raise a kid alone. I suppose that’s what worries me about Henry” Luca admitted.

“I mean you wouldn’t be. You’ve got all of us” Peter insisted.

“Yeah, you’ve got us” Wyatt said appearing behind him.

Wyatt was practically tackled to the slightly sticky ground. By the trio as they hugged him enthusiastically.

“God I’ve missed you” Luca said hugging him.

“Yeah. Abandoned us” Connor grinned.

“At least you’re safe Wyatt” Peter insisted.

“You can talk, what the hell do you mean you got into an absuive relationship” Wyatt frowned.

“It was a whole thing” Peter said awkwardly.

“You weren’t lying, about having a trio of bottoms”

“They aren’t mine” Wyatt explained.

“We’re more of a gang” Peter corrected.

A group of about ten guys clearly in their twenties, all with the clean cut military hairstyle, and thick beefy bodies, honed with hours of exercise.

“I’ve had dreams like this” Connor admitted.

“Guys, this is my (troop)” Wyatt introduced. “This is Peter, Connor and Luca. My gang. And they are all taken.”

“Your fault for leaving” Connor said wryly.

“None of us were going to end up together” Wyatt grinned.

“Hey so we’re taking Wyatt to the Strip Joint next door later if you want to join” a cocky looking soldier grinned.

“We’ll see” Peter smiled back.

“Right drinks. My shout” One another soldier declared.

“I missed you guys” Wyatt said hugging them close. “I should have visited sooner.”

“You’re hear now” Luca grinned.

“Hey. So who beat you up” Wyatt asked quietly.

“He’s from Seattle, and anyway they took out a restraining order” Peter admitted. “I’m safe.”

“Good” Wyatt kissed his forehead. “Because if you weren’t I’d kill him.”

“You’re not the only one” Peter said quietly, believing Wyatt.

“You all want seconds? And we need some music” Wyatt insisted with his boyish grin.

“Definitely music” Peter agreed.

The influx of enthusiastic soldiers seemed to be the influx of life the bar needed. Music began to play around the bar.

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen the bar this busy” Grayson laughed. “Also your Dad is going to kill you” he grinned at Peter.

“Why?” Peter frowned.

“Because he doesn’t want you associating with the depraved like myself” Grayson said wryly. “And now you’re drinking at a biker bar.”

“I have drinks” Wyatt said carrying them over. “Who the fuck are you?”

“Me? Oh Connor and I are..”

“Friends” Connor said going red.

“You have a very interesting definition of friendship” Grayson teased. “We’re dating, but he’s embarsssed.”

Wyatt took a large sip of beer, and walked around the table. “If you hurt him. You will regret it.”

Peter just smiled as he took another swig.

“I am working my ass off to be good enough for him” Grayson replied. “I know he’s worth it.”

“Good” Wyatt said firmly.

“Good” Grayson agreed. “Cheers.”

“Cheers” Wyatt said clinking the glasses together.

“That was way too friendly” Luca frowned.

“You’re dating someone double your age” Peter pointed out.

“You are what?” Wyatt frowned.

“Heh” Peter grinned.

“Peter” Luca snapped.

“Calm down” Connor said frowning. “He’s dating Henry Clark.”

“Who’s that?” Wyatt frowned.

“Dark haired Daddy, who really wants Luca to be his surrogate” Peter grinned.

“You three have been busy.”

“Not many guys on base?” Grayson asked curiously.

“Not really. Been a while since I got any action” Wyatt admitted. “The guys are determined to drag me to the strip club.”

Luca and Peter both grimaced.

“Don’t knock it, it’s not that bad” Connor shrugged.

“You surprise me, everyday” Grayson grinned.

“Dad, got me a lap dance for my eighteenth birthday. I got other presents. But…”

“Me too. Funny that” Grayson said amused.

“From your Dad, I can’t say I’m surprised” Peter commented.

They downed the remainder of their drinks and the group moved to the dance floor. The loud pop music thumping out of the ancient speakers. Peter just grinned as he danced swaying his body happily, not caring as guys stared at him. He was dancing. Part of him wishes he had Leon to grind on. But the other part of him was enjoying as he sang along to the lyrics as he moved.

“I’m going to have a smoke” Grayson said to Connor squeezing his rear.

Connor frowned at him his forehead glistening with sweat, but Grayson just smiled.

“You really like him” Peter said, although it was hard to hear his words over the music.

“I do” Connor admitted, “He needs to put some weight on.”

Peter laughed, and nodded, taking Connor’s hands as the two danced closer. Laughing and moving.

“Hey.. hey” a soldier was swaying slightly with a drunken look on his face.

“I have a boyfriend” Peter said politely but politely.

“There’s a guy outside asking for you” The Soldier said.

“It’s probably Leon. I’ll be back” Peter reassured Connor.

Peter headed out of the bar, it was well and truly dark now, and the loud pop music became muffled as the door shut. A sleek black car sat on the road, it looked out of place in Oakdale. Peter felt his whole body freeze up as he spotted the familiar figure leaning against the car.

Mario Vercetti.

He didn’t look any different to when Peter had seen him last. He was still tall, with that oily dark hair, the broad shoulders in a suit with a soft body, a layer of coarse stubble across his cheeks. In the half light it took a second for Peter to notice the dark bags under his eyes.

“There you are. And dressing like a cheap slut” Mario smiled darkly.

Peter swallowed, panic running through his mind.

“You ran away from me. Ungrateful boy, after everything I did for you. You ran home to this backwater” Mario sneered.

Peter felt his heart race.

Mario walked over and gripped Peter’s wrist squeezing it tightly. “But you are mine, and I say when I’m done with you. Understand boy”

Peter refused to answer, his lips clamped shut, he desperately tried to resist. But Mario’s grip tightened. Bending Peter’s arm behind him as he forced him toward the car. He reached and grabbed Peter’s phone dropping it to the ground and crunching it under his foot.

“Let me go! I’m not going with you!” Peter yelled struggling.

“And none of those backward bikers will be able to do a thing” Mario said shoving Peter roughly into the backseat. “We’ll have to thin you out, you’re getting a bit porky. Typical, all that work I put in wasted.”

“Let me go you bastard!” Peter bellowed.

The door was slammed shut, and Peter tugged on the door on the other. He shoved his weight against the door. Before he tried kicking the window.

It didn’t budge.

The drivers door opened, and Mario got in.

“We’re going home.”

“I am home. I’m not going with you” Peter sneered.

“You don’t have a choice. After the stunt you pulled. You put a toe out of line I’ll do more than hit you” Mario glowered.

Peter went quiet, fear starting to overrun the panic. Mario turned the engine, and swung the car around. A crowbar smashed through the windscreen.

“Hey fucker” Grayson said. “What did I say about staying away.”

“Fuck you” Mario sneered.

“Call Leon! Call my Dad” Peter yelled. “They’ll be able to track me.”

“Shut up boy” Mario sneered and gunned the engine. Forcing Grayson to jump back. Peter glanced out of the back window and saw Grayson on the phone.

“Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!” Mario snapped, “You can’t keep your mouth shut can you.”

“I told you. You can’t just kidnap me. I’m not yours anymore” Peter replied firmly. He turned away from Mario and in the distance he could hear the familiar rev’s of motorcycles.

Good. They were coming.

Chapter 12

“I can’t believe you picked up an extra shift on a Saturday night” Jack grinned at him. “It’ll give me a chance to go to Loading Dock.”

Leon snorted and saw the light on the phone, before it started ringing. “You just spoke to soon.”

“Oakdale Sherrif’s station, Deputy Leon speaking.”

“Mario he turned up at Heavyweights. He’s taken Peter. I’m going after him on my bike. But you need to bring the cavalry” Grayson’s voice called. The sound of gunshots ringing on the other end. “Fucker is shooting at me.”

“Right. Don’t get shot, I’ll sort it out” Leon said looking at Jack. Whose eyes went wide. “What direction are you headed.”

“Nearing the highway. Headed to Seattle.”

“Thank you! I mean that” Leon said honestly.

“I won’t let anything happen to Peter” Grayson. “me on the other hand” he muttered. “Gotta go. Oh and you should have half a dozen soldiers on the way who want to raid weapons and help out.”

Grayson hung up.

Sure enough a military truck pulled up, as motorcycled roared past the window.

“Oh fuck” Leon said looking at Jack. “You had better call your Dad. The Gang war has begun.”

A series of six muscular soldiers all walked in.

“How drunk are you?” Leon asked.

“We’ve had one. Each, and we sobered up quickly. Bar one but we left him at the bar” One of the soldiers said stepping forward, he had blonde hair and reminded Leon of someone. “I’m Wyatt, a friend of Peter’s.”

Leon smiled, “Right I need to call my dad, Jack call the Sherrif, and get these guys armed.”

“Who’s your dad?” Wyatt asked.

“Head of major crimes in Seattle” Leon said dialling. His Dad answered instantly.

“Dad it’s on. Mario played his hand, he’s grabbed Peter. On his way to Seattle via the highway. Grayson is trailing him.”

“I already had a nine one one about gunshots on the highway” Dad replied. “Are you going after him.”

“Myself, Bikers, and half a dozen soldiers who are in town” Leon said.

“Right then. I’ll bring the helicopter” Dad said. “Be safe Kid, let’s bring Peter home.”

Jack came back with the soldiers armed and ready. “let’s move out and catch up” Leon said.

“What did the sheriff say.”

“He’s calling the other deputies and they’ll join us on the way” Jack explained, “And he’ll call Peter’s parents.

The convoy set off and you could see the looks of confusion as it stopped traffic. two sheriffs cars, and a huge military truck with Soldiers in the back. Driving out of Oakdale. They were already ten minutes ahead, so the moment they hit the highway they began to speed up. Leon gripped the wheel tightly, mostly to keep his panic at bay. All he could think was getting Peter back safely.

They started to catch up to Grayson, who looked as though he was holding on with pure adrenaline. Gunshots beginning to ring out.

Leon still didn’t understand what had driven Mario to this level. Spite? Ego? Being slighted?

There was now a fleet of vehicles trailing with them. Bikers with sawn of shotguns weaving between. Leon stared out at the road he noticed Mario had stopped shooting. Perhaps he was out of bullets.

Then Leon spotted it in the sky a huge helicopter appeared over the lip of the trees. A huge searchlight illuminating the road.

“Mario Vercetti, Stop your vehicle” Dad’s voice boomed out.

Leon watched as Mario shoved his head out the window and glared up at the helicopter. Firing off a couple of rounds.

Someone took a shot, although it missed. Mario’s head disappeared into the cab. For a second there was quiet. He was obviously trying to figure out what to do next.

“Mario Vercetti, Stop your vehicle. There is a blockade ahead. You are surrounded.”

Sure enough a row of flashing police buckles sat waiting. He was well and truly surrounded.

A sensible person would have given up then. Leon shouldn’t have been surprised that Mario instead gunned his engine.

He roared ahead speeding up faster toward the barricade of cop cars.

“No. No. No” Leon screamed as his panic began to set in. He couldn’t loose Peter. He couldn’t.

Mario’s black car hit the barricade with an almighty bang, crumpling against the metal. Something was launched out the front window, and Leon felt panic start to overwhelm him.

The huge convoy slowed down. There was almost a funeral vibe. As people began to approach the vehicle slowly. Leon got out and ran, sweating as he desperately hoped Peter was alive.

“Get back” A cop said firmly.

Leon skidded to a halt clutching his knees as he struggled to catch his breath. “Peter…is he…” Leon wheezed.

The cop who wasn’t exactly thin either, slowly moved forward gun drawn.

“It’s Vercetti!” A voice yelled from up the road.

Leon felt a bit of relief. The cop slowly opened the back door. Peter’s head was lying against an airbag. His seatbelt done up. Blood trickled down his forehead.

The cop holstered his weapon and carefully examined Peter. “He’s breathing.”

“Oh thank you” Leon said relieved. “Peter!”

Peter groaned and slowly lifted his head he looked dazed and confused as the officer heaved him out. Leon came forward and hugged him into an embrace. “I’ve got you. I’ve got you.”

Peter moaned and squeezed him, “I undid his belt. I knew he’d ram it…I..”

“You’re safe.”

Peter’s parents waddled over and his friends ran over. All embracing Peter as they checked him.

There was one person missing. Grayson.

“Where’s Grayson?” Leon asked.

There was a moment of confusion.

“Gray?” Connor called out.

Grayson staggered out from behind a car, his shirt now stained of blood. He offered a tired smile. “I need..” and lurched forward

“Gray!” Connor screamed gutterally and ran toward him catching him before he hit the road.

“Paramedics!” Leon called out, really

Hoping they’d been on standby.

Paramedics ran out from behind the barricade, and toward Grayson.

“I want to see him” Peter muttered.

“Peter” Leon said uncertain.

“Closure” Peter said.

“Peter, I don’t think that’s smart” Carter said pulling Peter against his gut. His battered leather jacket not even having a chance of doing up. “Let the cops take care of it.”

“He’ll keep coming. This needs to end” Peter said firmly.

Leon knew Peter was right, and he walked unsteadily towards where Mario had been thrown from the car. Paramedics were attending to him. His eyes were barely open and his face was torn up. “Hello fucker” Peter glared. “We’re done now. You understand. I was never yours.”

Mario coughed up blood, “This isn’t…”

“Yes it is. It’s over” Leon confirmed, as he put an arm around Peter. “Let’s get you checked out. And then we’ll go home.”

“I love you” Peter smiled at Leon.

“I love you too” Leon smiled back.

Leon watched the news report as he sat on the couch in the Redfield’s living room. Heath sat beside him in nothing but a tank top and his underwear.

“Mario Vercetti, the head of one Seattle’s five families. Was arrested yesterday, after a high speed chase down the highway outside of Seattle.” The Newsreader read out. Footage from presumably Dad’s helicopter showed the chase above. “Vercetti was intercepted after an attempted kidnapping of his ex boyfriend. Who had previously put in a restraining order against Vercetti. Vercetti faces multiple charges and we’ll be facing court within the coming weeks.”

“Good. He can rot” Heath huffed scratching his gut.

Leon smirked, “Agreed, Dad said they’ll throw the book at him. They take a harsh view on Domestic abuse.”

Heath nodded, his gut gurgled loudly. “fuck I’m starving.”

Leon nodded, “I’m sure they won’t be too long until they get back with food.”

Heath grunted, “I’d get snacks from my room, but I can’t be fucked getting up.”

“You’re going to make a tremendous husband one day” Leon teased.

Heath smirked, “I’m not rushing. I’m busy working on my Dad bod.”

Leon prodded Heath’s belly, “Your a little bit past that.”

“Then you better catch up then” Heath grinned. “If you’re not too busy fucking my brother.”

Leon rolled his eyes, “We’re not rushing into that.”

The back door opened and he heard the sound of waddling, and carrying plastic bags. “Rushing into what?” Peter asked. Leon leaned over and watched him unpack plastic tubs onto the table.

“Heath’s asking if I’m fucking you” Leon said wryly.

“It’s none of his business” Peter replied. “Food’s here.”

Leon got up groaning and walked into the kitchen he embraced Peter warmly. “Missed you.”

“It was ten minutes” Peter said wryly.

“Still missed you” Leon said warmly.

“Your ex is all over the news.”

“Yeah Dad’s been telling any reporters who call no comment” Peter smiled relaxing in Leon’s embrace. “Let’s get you eating.”

“That’s the way. I’m starved” Carter said lifting his shirt up and slapping his gut. “Leon needs to catch up to the men of the house.”

“Cheers thanks Dad” Peter deadpanned.

“You’ll be busy with children” Carter pointed out.

“You are fucking!” Heath said from the couch.

“We’re not” Leon said diplomatically. “We’re mostly waiting.”

“Mostly is doing some heavy lifting” Scott said getting out plates. “Heath it is none of your business. And honestly after the last few months. As long as Leon is being respectful of Peter’s boundaries.”

“Alright. Enough about my love life” Peter frowned. “Leon and I will do things when we’re ready.”

“Yes. Please” Carter agreed. “I’m starving.”

Scott lowered himself down into a chair, “Leon, did your father call you?”

“Yeah. He said they’re keeping Vercetti secured. It’s a huge deal” Leon said wryly.

“Good” Scott said rubbing his belly.

“Papa, how much food do you want?” Peter asked.

“He’s eating for three. So enough” Carter said firmly.

“He wants these two fat” Scott rolled his eyes.

“Butterballs” Carter nodded.

“You want them to end up like Heath?” Peter said wryly, as he filled a plate.

“It’s also, helpful when you’re older to have a safer pregnancy” Leon pointed out. “The healthier sized kids are a bonus” He said rubbing Peter’s belly.

“Leon” Peter whispered blushing.

Leon kissed the nape of Peter’s neck gently. “Yes?”

“I forgot” Peter smiled.

“You sit down” Leon said taking the plate from Peter. Leon finished filling the plate, and handed it to Scott. He took a second plate and began to fill it to almost the same amount before handing it to Peter. “There.”

“Careful. Peter will end up my size” Heath snorted.

“That’s his plan” Peter said wryly.

“Well you have to catch up to Connor” Leon chuckled.

Carter grinned, “He’s becoming one of the family.”

“Oof. That was good” Leon said rubbing his belly. “I really am getting fat.”

“Oh no. How dare you” Peter said amused as he sat down on the couch beside him, he leaned against him.

“I know your opinion” Leon smiled and kissed him gently. “There’s a reason I’m getting so fat.”

Peter ran his hand over Leon’s belly, stroking and feeling his gut. “Hugely fat. My big greedy boyfriend.”

“Mhmm. Fuck” Leon groaned feeling his cock come to life.

Peter grinned and bent down and kissed Leon’s gut. Sliding his shirt up, feeling the bloated mass. “There’s a proper gut on you now. Love handles” Peter traced them with his hands. Peter guided his hands back to the largest point and up to his chest. “moobs, fat greedy body” Peter said with horny need.

Leon undid his trouser button, that was struggling as it was. “Uhhh better” he smiled.

Peter smiled, “I want to be full”

Leon felt his cheeks warm, he reached for Peter felling his fat muffin top. “It’s all full.”

“I need your cock” Peter asked gently. “I want to be full.”

Leon’s cock was hard now, there was no denying the desire of a cute twink begging to be fucked. “Birth control” Peter asked.

Peter just smirked, “Don’t care. See if you can break the dam.”

“Peter” Leon said warily, “I want you. Badly, but it’s too soon for that.”

“You love me in a way that he never did” Peter said biting his lip.

Leon kissed Peter, “I know, and because of that. I know that you don’t want to have a baby like this.”

Peter’s shoulders drooped, “I do want a baby.”

“We’ll break the dam, but first I think we need to put a few cracks in it” Leon explained. “I’ll pull out before I blow.”

Peter considered, “I want to be a..”

Leon kissed Peter firmly, “I know. But we’re not going to rush.”

He hugged Peter tightly against his gut and kissed him again. “Why do you have to be right.”

Leon grinned and kissed him, feeling his arse. “Because if i didn’t hold back. You’d be pregnant already.”

Peter blushed at that, “So what do we do?”

“We use condoms for now, and then maybe in a few months we’ll start trying the pull out method and see what happens” Leon smiled.

“You don’t want to wait till marriage?” Peter asked curiously.

“I don’t think I can manage that long” Leon said wryly. “I need you Peter. I need you completely.”

Peter moaned and undid his pants.

Leon grabbed it, “upstairs. Someone will walk in.”

Peter nodded, “I need to move out.”

Leon chuckled, “Let’s give it a few more months, before you move in with me.”

Peter led Leon upstairs to his bedroom, they’d slept on the king single bed the night before. But this was different. “Do you have a condom?” Peter asked.

“I don’t but I know who does” Leon grinned. “Stay, get naked.”

“Wait. Where are you going?” Peter asked.

Leon grinned and knocked on the door of Heath’s room, “You decent?”

“Yeah. Come in” Heath answered.

Heath was sat in a bartered computer chair, a computer screen had an adult movie playing.

“Where do you keep your condoms?” Leon asked.

Heath turned, “You are sleeping with him.”

“Yes. Or no, do you have condoms?” Leon asked.

“Top drawer of the bedside table” Heath gestured.

Leon opened the bedside table, a sex toy, lube tissues and an open box of condoms. Leon pulled one out.

Heath grabbed Leon’s wrist, “You don’t need it.”

“Yeah I do” Leon said, “After everything Peter’s been through. I’m not rushing to have a baby, I want one more than one with him. But not yet. That okay?”

Heath considered that, “Yeah that’s okay.” He offered his fist.

Leon grinned and bumped it. He looked at the condom and found Peter lying under to the blanket. “Hope I didn’t keep you waiting too long.”

Peter grinned, “It’ll be worth it.”

Leon shut the bedroom door and let his trousers fall to his ankles. He released his large cock, and jacked it firmly.

Peter grinned as Leon climbed into bed. “Hi” Leon smiled, as he wrapped his arms around him. Pulling Peter against him.

“Your so warm” Peter admitted his hands rubbing across his body.

Leon chuckled and let his fingers press into Peter’s soft flesh as they began to make out. His hand gripping the back of Peter’s head as they firmly kissed. Peter’s cock grinding against Leon’s belly as they made out.

“Feels so good” Peter moaned as they made out. Leon smiled and sucked on Peter’s soft moobs.

Peter moaned gutterally, as Leon dragged his teeth over Peter’s nipple. “Yesss.”

Leon grinned and began to tug on Peter’s other nipple. Causing Peter to moan louder.“Soft and sensitive” Leon teased. He offered three fingers to Peter’s mouth, making sure they were covered in saliva. With amusement he pulled them out a line of drool on them as he pressed them into Peter’s hole.

Peter groaned as the fingers slowly slid in. Leon put his other hand on Peter’s hip, as he began to gently finger his hole. Stretching it slowly, firmly stretching his hole. As Peter moaned at the intense feeling.

“Feels good” Leon said kissing him gently.

“Yeah” Peter moaned breathless.

“I’m gonna stretch you some more, but it’s going to hurt at first. So I’ll take it slowly at first” Leon explained, “Is that okay?”

“Yeah. Yeah” Peter nodded aching for more.

Leon grinned and resisted the urge to go hard and fast. He had to take it slowly and be gentle. He continued his slow stretching of Peter’s hole doing a slow scissor like motion readying him for Leon’s considerable shaft.

Peter was practically begging for it now, so Leon carefully squeezed on some lubricant, you often needed it for virgins. He slowly guided his large cock in, feeling it slowly sink between Peter’s buttocks.

Peter groaned his mouth hanging open.

“You okay?” Leon ventured tentatively, stopping from pushing further.

“Hurts. But a good hurt” Peter nodded struggling to string words together.

“Good. I’ll keep going” Leon whispered.

“Uhhhhh” Peter moaned his brain practically melting as Leon slowly slid all the way in, until he could feel Peter’s ass cheeks pressing against his balls.

“Feels good, doesn’t it” Leon said starting to thrust slowly at first, but then finding a firm rhythm.

Peter would groan gutturally as Leon thrust firmly. “I feel so full” he moaned.

Leon groaned and grabbed Peter’s hips tighter, and thrust hard. “Yeah. You do” he groaned.

Leon felt the condom so badly, every instinct inside him told him to breed Peter. Fill him and make him yours.

Leon groaned and thrust harder, in and out, the firm rhythm timing with Peter’s desperate moans. It made everything more intense.

“I think…” Peter moaned. “I think..”

“Don’t think” Leon whispered his pressing into Peter’s soft chest, as he held him tight. His cock repeatedly ramming Peter’s insides.

“Gonna cum..” Peter moaned.

Leon felt Peter go limp underneath him, his hole tightening, as Leon thrusted it pushed him over the edge. “Oh fuck. Oh fuck” Leon groaned as he came. He felt the condom slacken, and slowly and carefully pulled his cock out. There was a balloon of cum at the end. It felt like a waste.

“Seems like a waste” Peter commented.

Leon chuckled, surprised they were on the same train of thought.

“What?” Peter protested indignantly.

“I was thinking the same thing” Leon murmured kissing him. “How are you feeling?”

“Fine?” Peter shrugged, “felt really good.”

Leon smiled and kissed Peter again, the boy was clearly built for him. “Good, then I’ll clean myself up. I love you.”

Peter smiled at Leon, “I love you too.”

Chapter 13

One Years Later

“Urrrrppp” Peter belched unceremoniously into his fist. “Oof I really shouldn’t have had that last taco.”

“Like it’d have stopped you” Connor grinned leaning over and prodding Peter’s belly. “You’re really getting a gut.”

“Blame Leon” Peter huffed.

“Blame or thank?” Connor grinned.

Peter smiled, “Thank.” He looked down at his belly. “Definitely thank.”

“Where are our men?” Connor smiled.

“Distracted” Peter said wryly. “Why didn’t we come here more often?”

“Because none of us could drive” Connor smiled. “How’s that going by the way?”

“Slowly” Peter said wryly. “Leon trusts me behind the wheel.”

Connor grinned, “That’s good. You’re sleeping with Leon right?”

“Yeah” Peter smiled.

“What birth control do you guys use?”

Peter winced and looked away, “The pull out method.”

Connor slapped Peter’s leg hard, “What is wrong with you.”

“It feels good, we used condoms at first. But.”

Connor sighed, “Condoms break” he pointed out.

“Oh” Peter realised.

“It’s too soon. To be sure, but.”

Peter embraced Connor, “Grayson isn’t like your Dad. And you have all of us.”

They heard the sound of car wheels, and a four wheel drive pulled up. Luca climbed out, “What am I interrupting.”

“We’re just talking” Peter smiled.

“Where’s your baby daddy?”

Luca grinned, “He’s not my baby daddy. Yet.”

“It’s only a matter of time” Peter reassured.

“I know” Luca smiled.

A battered rusted truck pulled up, and hefty blonde climbed out. “This had better be worth it” Wyatt grinned.

“We’re catching up. You can do that” Connor said firmly.

“You all have boyfriends” Wyatt said wryly.

“You could have brought that stripper you keep having private dances with” Peter grinned.

“He has a name” Wyatt blushed.

“Country Cream isn’t it” Connor grinned.

“His actual name, not his stage name” Wyatt said with gritted teeth.

Luca, Connor and Peter looked at him waiting.

“It’s Theo, his name is Theo” Wyatt sighed. “You three are nightmares.”

“We know. It’s why you love us” Luca smiled.

“Hey. I have an idea” Peter suggested.

“Oh no” Luca groaned.

“It’s not that bad” Peter reassured. He turned to Connor, can I tell them, it’ll help explain my idea.”

“You can” Connor nodded.

Peter squeezed his leg, “Connor thinks he might be pregnant. So I sort of thought we could do pregnancy test roulette. Together.”

Wyatt looked a little pink, “I’m a top” he said quickly.

“That’s not the point. The point is to reassure him.”

“Sure. But we need pregnancy tests” Luca smiled.

“I’ve got a pack of four in the car” Connor admitted.

“Why a four pack?” Wyatt asked.

“I work at Mass Market, everything’s in bulk” Connor said sliding off the bonnet. He grabbed the four pack and tipped off the plastic handing a box to each of them.

“Right..” Luca said reading the instructions.

“Come on” Peter encouraged.

The four best friends went behind some bushes. They all peed on the plastic sticks, before they slid them into the box.

“And now we wait” Peter grinned.

“This is so stupid” Wyatt sighed.

“It’s bonding” Peter said firmly.

“No it’s not. It’s weird. Where are the guys?” Wyatt asked.

“Leon and Grayson went to get food” Connor smiled.

“Henry’s coming from work, all the mayoral campaign stuff” Luca added.

“Does he find it weird hanging out with people half his age” Peter grinned.

“Incredibly, but he knows he has no choice in the matter” Luca said wryly. “We’re a package deal.”

Connor’s phone began to buzz, “Timer is up” he said looking nervous.”

Peter grinned and shook the box. “everyone take one, and then we’ll share the results.”

Wyatt grabbed one, then Luca, Peter and finally Connor.

Wyatt looked down at the test, he smiled wryly. “Pregnant.”

“I guess you have mine then” Connor said with a sigh.

Luca was frowning, “Mine’s positive too.”

“Two of you” Wyatt chuckled. “That’s funny.”

“Three…” Peter said looking at his test.

“Oh..” Connor said a little relieved. “Actually I think it’s four” Connor held out the positive test.

All three turned to Wyatt.

“So I might have bottomed a couple of times for Theo” Wyatt winced.

“We’re all pregnant” Peter muttered, he looked down at his stomach.

“We’ve always done things together” Connor admitted. “I guess we’ll be pregnant too.”

“I’m going to have to quit” Wyatt realised.

“Hey. You’ll get discharged same thing happened to my Dad. They don’t just kick you out” Connor reassured. “They’re pretty supportive.”

“My Dad, he was proud of me for going in the army. And now” Wyatt looked worried.

“That’s tomorrow’s problem” Peter said. “Today let’s just have fun.”

A sherrifs truck pulled up, and Leon and Grayson got out. “Food is here”

Moments behind another car pulled up, and Henry got out. “Hello” he said awkwardly.

Grayson wrapped his arms around Connor, his belly pressing into Connor’s back. “Gonna stuff that fat gut of yours.”

“Mhmm” Connor moaned.

“So now you’re all here. We probably should tell you the news” Peter beamed.

“News?” Leon said looking up confused.

“Big news” Luca agreed.

“So it turns out all of us are pregnant” Wyatt said uncertainly. “Me, Luca, Connor and Peter.”

There was a long moment of quiet.

“Your fucking joking?” Henry said beaming. “You’ll be fat as houses.” He said embracing Luca tightly, “Told you the extra weight would help.”

“Really pregnant?” Leon asked honestly.

“Really” Peter confirmed as Leon hugged him.

“Gray?” Connor asked gently, feeling his gut rub against Connor’s back.

“Yeah. Piggy” Grayson grunted.

“I’m..”

“I know” Grayson said taking Connor’s hand and sliding it down his jeans. “You feel that. The thought of you pregnant. It makes me a really happy man.”

Connor smiled proudly.

“You know, I don’t think we’re all on orgy terms” Leon pointed out.

“Yeah” Wyatt agreed.

Connor retracted his hand blushing.

Leon put his hand on Peter’s belly, “You know what this means.”

“That my parents are going to flip” Peter said wryly.

“That you’ve broken the dam” Leon whispered in his ear, as he pulled Leon into a passionate kiss. “Because I told you I don’t want just one.”

Peter smiled, “In that case you can tell Heath.”

Leon looked over at Wyatt, “You won’t be doing this alone, and if you need a job. I can get my uncle to give you a job at the Sheriff ‘s Station.”

“Thank you” Wyatt smiled a little less uncertain.

Peter smiled at Leon, “You didn’t have to do that.”

“If I’ve learned one thing, dating you” Leon said. “Is your friends are the most important people to you.”

“It’s ride or die” Grayson agreed.

“You make us sound like a gang?” Connor laughed.

“You kind of are” Leon said wryly, “Although you’re mostly harmless.”

“Cheers” Peter said frowning, as he felt Leon rub his belly. “Stop that.”

“You’re pregnant, I don’t think I’m ever going to stop” Leon kissed his cheek.

“You’re pregnant. I can’t believe your pregnant” Leon beamed as he pulled up outside of Peter’s family home.

“I know. And I still need to tell my parents” Peter pointed out.

“Ah” Leon winced.

“Yeah” Peter said patting Leon’s leg.

“How do you think your parents will take it?” Leon asked.

“I mean I think the fact I’m not dating an abusive prick will be a positive” Peter admitted cuddling into Leon. “And knowing that you’re supporting me. I think it’ll be fine.”

“Still terrifying” Leon admitted.

“Oh absolutely” Peter agreed, they kissed and Leon’s tender lips lingered. They climbed out of the car, and Peter couldn’t help but smile at the way Leon had started looking chubby. His shirt strained against his developing belly.

“You can stop checking me out like you want to mount me” Leon said wryly.

“Can’t help it. You’re very sexy” Peter said wryly.

“At least you’re not as bad as Grayson” Leon said wryly.

“He’s just enthusiastic” Peter chuckled, “and he knows he can get away with it.” They headed into the house, Peter opening the front door. “We’re back”

“How was lunch?” Papa’s voice echoed from the living room.

“Eventful” Leon offered.

“I thought you’d still be at work?” Peter enquired.

“Shorter day, harder to get around now” Papa said. Peter rounded the corner and papa had his swollen feet up on the coffee table.

“We don’t have an ice pack? There’s pea’s?” Dad called from the kitchen. Peter frowned, dad wasn’t usually allowed to rummage through the freezer.

“Oh no not the peas” Leon said dryly.

“It’ll do” Papa shrugged.

“I thought you said we’d run out of ice cream” Dad gasped.

“I lied” Papa grinned.

“Oh… hey…” Heath heaved drenched in sweat. Peter gagged at the smell.

“Oh god you reek” Peter grimaced.

“Went… for… a jog” Heath admitted.

“Why? You’re much too fat” Leon said reaching out to prod Heath’s belly, and thinking better of it.

“Yeah. Been feeling off” Heath muttered as he lumbered over to the empty chair and collapsed into it.

“Off. Then go see a doctor” Leon frowned.

“Speaking of” Peter muttered quietly.

“Peas” Dad said waddling in, his gut spilling out the bottom of a t-shirt that read ‘Oakdale Trailer Park.’ He handed them to papa who moaned as he put them on his swollen feet.

“Maybe we should tell them another time” Leon commented.

Peter shrugged, “Eh. Doesn’t really matter” he said grabbing Leon’s hand and tugging him around until the family were all facing him. “Leon and I have news.”

“Big news” Leon said a little quieter.

“I’m pregnant” Peter declared with pride.

There was silence, Peter frowned. “Not even a bit of enthusiasm.”

“It’s a bit soon” Papa finally said.

“Very soon” Dad frowned.

Peter rolled his eyes, “I want a baby. I want to be pregnant, and Leon is the best person I could want to do it with.”

“Don’t say do it” Heath grimaced.

“It wasn’t planned” Leon added, “But we want to do this.”

“Well it is a bit soon” Papa admitted, “But if your happy, congratulations. I’d hug you but I’m not moving.”

“Hmmm” Dad frowned.

“Dad” Peter sighed.

“Look. I get it, but you’re going to do most of it on your own” Dad admitted.

“Not really” Peter pointed out.

“We’re having twins. We’ll have our hands full” Dad warned.

“I get that. But the gang are all pregnant too.”

There was a pause.

“All of you?” Papa squinted.

“Only Luca was trying. The rest were accidents” Peter added.

“We did have the birth control talk right?” Dad frowned.

“Yes we did” Papa chuckled.

“Right. Good” Dad nodded firmly, he looked at Peter. “Your staying until your married. Baby or not.”

“Dad!” Peter protested.

“Carter” Papa said firmly. “You want three crying babies in the house?”

“They aren’t married” Dad grumbled.

“We weren’t” Papa huffed.

“That’s different” Dad muttered.

“Dad I don’t want a shotgun wedding. If we marry, and if Leon proposes” Peter began. “But I’ll probably move in sooner, I don’t want our child to go between two houses.”

“When” Leon corrected.

“What?” Peter frowned distracted from his train of thought.

“When I propose. Not if” Leon corrected.

“I didn’t want to put words in your mouth” Peter pointed out.

“You’re going to be insufferable as parents” Heath groaned.

“Yep” Peter beamed, “I learned from the best.”

“Hey” Dad frowned.

Chapter 14

Leon looked down at the scale beneath his bare feet. Was his feet getting fatter. Leon shook his head deciding that was probably ridiculous. Still as the little red needle finally found its mark, he couldn’t help but smile.

“190lbs” he murmured. It was certainly an increase from his previous 155lbs. But the fact his belly now was a fat mound that bulged out over all his trousers. His chest was softening and his nipples had gotten bigger. He’d have blamed the sympathy pregnancy, but it was a little too soon for that. Peter wasn’t even out of the first trimester.

Nothing wrong with getting an early start on his dad bod. His phone began vibrating on the sink. The name ‘Dad’ clear on the screen.

Leon swiped across the screen and held it to his ear. “Hey Dad” he smiled. “What’s going on?”

“Nothing exciting” Dad admitted.

Leon chuckled and opened the bathroom door. “So the five families have become boring?”

“Boring is an understatement. Mario has been sentenced, good all sixteen volumes of the book thrown at him. He’s looking at two lifetimes in prison” Dad commented. “This seems to have lit under a fire under the others and they’re all shutting shop. All of them paranoid one will sell out the other.”

“Good news then” Leon grinned.

“How’s Peter?” Dad enquired.

“He’s been sick…” Leon said diplomatically.

“Ill sick? Or therapy sick?” Dad asked.

“Dad” Leon frowned, “Ill sick. Well only the mornings.”

“Poor kid. Sure it won’t last” Dad reassured. “Don’t get ill either.”

“I don’t think I can catch what he’s got” Leon said wryly.

Peter appeared in the doorway, a confused look on his face.

‘Dad’ Leon mimed.

Peter pointed to his plump stomach, Leon smiled he couldn’t wait till he Peter looked absolutely humungous.

“Did he not get immunised?” Dad asked.

“No. No” Leon sighed, already shaking his head with a grin. “He’s pregnant.”

“Really?” Dad said quietly, hope in his voice.

“Yeah” Leon grinned. “We’re both very excited.”

“Congratulations Leon” Dad smiled. “Maybe I should retire.”

“Dad. You’d get bored in a week” Leon snorted.

“Does this mean I’ll be seeing a wedding invitation?”

Leon rolled his eyes, “not straight away.”

“I wont take it personally when I don’t get a namesake.”

“Dad. We’re not deciding names yet, he’s not even out of the first trimester” Leon explained. Because in truth he wanted to name him after his Papa.

Romeo.

“Alright. Well I’m happy for both of you” Dad smiled wryly. “Keep my grandchild safe.”

“Oh I definitely will” Leon smiled. “I love you Dad.”

“Love you too Leon” Dad smiled. As he hung up.

“All good?” Peter enquired.

“Yeah. Dad’s pleased” Leon smiled.

“So you don’t have any names picked out?” Peter asked surprised.

“I do. But I wanted to make sure you were okay with it” Leon admitted nervously.

“Look as long as I can pronounce it. I’m not going to judge. I was almost named Maynard” Peter grinned.

“Small blessings. I don’t know if I could be attracted to a Maynard” Leon considered. “Anyway, I wanted to name our first child Romeo. After my Papa.”

Peter rubbed his belly gently, “Romeo. I like it, Romeo Knight.”

Leon beamed at him, Peter just understood. “Yeah?”

“Yeah” Peter grinned.

“Oh. And I weigh 190lbs” Leon commented wryly.

“You’re getting fat” Peter said with delighted.

“I’ve just showered” Leon grinned.

“And?” Peter said biting his lip with desire. “I can’t get more pregnant.”

Leon chuckled and put his hands on Peter’s belly, rubbing it gently. He loved the slight firmness he could feel when he pressed his fingers in. “I really did break the Dam.” He kissed Peter his damp body rubbing against Peter.

“Uhhhhh” Peter moaned as Leon manhandled him.

Leon had begun to deeply understand how his Uncle ended up with Eight Kids.

(Sex scene?)

Leon opened the door to his Uncle’s house, for someone who was Sheriff it always amused him how he wasn’t really a security nut. His front door when someone was home at least was always unlocked.

“Uncle?” Leon called out, bracing to be trampled by a half a dozen kids.

There was no response.

Leon took Peter’s hand and led him into the house, sure enough out in the backyard was his cousins and his Uncle Tom behind the Barbecue. The back door opened and Uncle James waddled in smiling.

“Hello you two” he smiled. “We figured we’d do something low key” he said warmly.

“Didn’t want to do a sit down dinner?” Leon enquired.

Uncle James chuckled, “No” he walked over and embraced Leon warmly. “Especially because you’re bringing this one over for the first time.”

Peter blushed a little, “In his defence, things have been hectic.”

“You must be Peter” Uncle James smiled. “I’ve heard a lot about you.”

“Re…Really?”

“I’m married to the Sheriff. I hear all the town gossip” Uncle James said wryly. “This way, I’ll introduce you to Leon’s cousins.”

“You know I went to school with half of them” Peter pointed out.

“Yes. But your family now” Uncle James smiled.

Leon grinned and kissed Peter’s cheek, “Come on.”

Leon led Peter out on the deck and sure enough was swarmed by his younger cousins. Jack gave a smiling nod from where he stood by his Dad at the barbecue. The teenagers all seemed curious but also kept a distant, going through that phase where they disliked family gatherings.

Uncle James introduced each one of his children, including the baby, who was sitting happily in a bouncer.

Uncle Tom lumbered over patting his gut as he handed me a beer. “Not too many if your driving” he warned.

“I know” Leon smiled.

“Good lad” he grinned, “Why don’t you help me grill for a bit.”

Peter had a worried look across his face, and I kissed him gently. “It’s fine”

Uncle Tom genially began to make conversation peppering him with questions.

“Is this work related?” Leon asked as he joined his Jack and Uncle Tom at the Barbecue.

“Ish” Jack said frowning.

Leon raised an eyebrow, “I’m retiring” Uncle Tom said firmly.

“Wait. Seriously?” Leon asked genuinely shocked.

“Yep. It’s overdue and with the little one I want to be around more” Uncle Tom smiled. “I’m not as young as I used to be.”

“You’re only in your fifties.”

“Even so. Not as slim as I was, and I want to enjoy before I eat myself immobile” he patted his enormous gut with a proud smile.

“Right?” Leon chuckled politely.

“I want you to run for Sheriff.”

Leon blinked, “What?”

“Look, your young, settled and, I think your ready for it” Uncle Tom said firmly. “I asked (co worker), and he wasn’t interested. I think you should do it.”

Leon looked over at Peter, they’d have their hands full in six months.

“When’s the election?”

“It’ll be the same time as the mayoral race.”

“I’ll have to talk to Peter about it”

Uncle Tom looked at Leon with confusion. “We’re going to be a little busy in a few months” he said cagily.

“Don’t take too long, you’ll need to start campaigning.”

“That seems so ridiculous” Leon huffed, but then he had already heard about everything Henry had to do in order to even get his name on the ballot.

Once the meat was ready everyone grabbed plates and the food dished out and they sat around a long table, the cousins all spread about. There was never a kids end of the table.

Peter ate with an enthusiasm that Leon hadn’t seen in awhile. He had noticed that he hadn’t made any trips to the bathroom in a few hours. He hoped although he knew it was unlikely that maybe his morning sickness had stopped.

Leon wondered when best to make the announcement. Once the food started to run out and his younger cousins had started getting restless. He lept on it, “Peter and I have an announcement.”

“Your getting married?” One of his younger cousins asked.

“No. Peter and I are having a baby.”

“You’ve told your Dad? How did he take the news of being a grandfather?” Uncle Tom enquired.

“Really well” Leon smiled.

“Planned?” Uncle James said with a wry smile.

“Ish” Peter said chuckling.

“Ish? What kind of answer is that?” One of his older cousins asked.

“One that you’ll understand when you’re older” Uncle James grinned.

“So are you going to be the first out of your friends to pop out a baby” Jack asked chuckling.

“Yes Peter are you?” Leon turned to him with a teasing grin.

“So it turns out we’re all Pregnant” Peter said awkwardly.

Jack leaned forward, “Wait all of you?”

“All of who?” Uncle James said confused.

“They had a group at school they were all attached at the hip. Peter, Connor Hudson, Luca Messina and I can never remember if it’s Wade or his brother Wyatt.”

“Wyatt” Peter said wryly.

“All four of you are Pregnant” Uncle Tom enquired.

“By coincidence. Seriously. Although no one will believe it” Peter frowned.

“Daaamn” Jack said impressed.

“It’s good to have a support network” Uncle James pointed out. “And some of those Papa’s groups, can be a lot” he said shaking his head from experience.

“That certainly explains why you wouldn’t commit to nominating yourself as sherrif” Uncle Tom commented.

Peter frowned confused.

“Uncle Tom is retiring.”

Peter groaned, “Oh that’s the last thing Dad needs.”

Uncle James laughed hard at that, “I don’t think they’ll ever stop being competitive.”

“So are you going to get married?” The younger cousin asked.

Peter smiled warmly, “Eventually, I want to have this one first” he smiled.

Chapter 15

Peter
