Goodbye Isn't Always Forever
Marshall stood at the window with deep sorrow in his heart. Daisy was finally leaving him. Even though she had only been with him for a month, the adoption agency refused to allow him to keep her. Watching helplessly as the Buick drove her away, he held his tears as his little girl was being taken away. He had tried his hardest to keep her, but his plans only made things worst. It was time to let her go.
Daisy looked out as the figure she had grew to love disappeared into a hazy blur. She knew that she would meet him again someday, and when she did, the world would not be grey anymore. As the house she had come to love faded into the distance, Mr. Bronson spoke for the first time.
"It had to be done, that was a terrible place for you… it's a good thing your neighbor Mrs. Julian called us"
