Have no likeness to or of this world. It perishes. Have a likeness of Christ who is immortal and whose goodness does not wane.

How can you righteously pursue the promises of the world, knowing they are the snares of him who is come to consume all admirable traits of men? How can you walk the broad road of the unrighteous and desire to stand before the righteous God? No, you have loved lies and not the man whose blood was shed for the world's iniquity.
