My Church Experience Today

I went to church today, and it was absolutely amazing. The people were welcoming, the pastor knew what he was talking about and it was overall an amazing experience.

As I stood to sing along with the congregation and read the words on the screen, tears began to fall from my eyes. I grew so emotional, to be able to praise Almighty God once more, and to know that Jesus is my salvation, it changed my life completely. I'm changed, from this point forward. I will try to make it to every Sunday service.

The choir music was beautiful, and everyone was so nice. I felt more at home than I've ever been in any other church. It was truly wonderful. I came away with a firmly established belief that God is in my life, and that I've reaffirmed that Jesus is my Savior.

My faith has been restored, and I'm hoping that I continue to feel this way every time I go to church. I'm eager to learn more.

I took notes, which I'll add in a post here separately, in a favorite, so I can keep track of what I've studied.

I invite you along with me in this amazing journey to becoming a better Christian, a better person, a better mother, daughter and friend. I want to be the best me I can be, and I believe I've made the first step towards doing that with going back to church. I'm very happy today.

One of the topics today was having your joy taken away. No one can take it from you, because God gave it to you. I've had my joy thrown into a small box lately, but today, it felt like that box exploded, overflowing with my praise for God and Jesus. I'm so grateful to have had this chance. It's changed me forever.
