ASH WEDNESDAY

Today is Ash Wednesday, celebrated among many Christians worldwide. It marks the beginning of “Lent” and leads up to Easter. When the cross of ashes is applied to the forehead of the follower, the Priest says: “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

How encouraging is that? You’re nothing but dust. Yet, Jesus said “ye are little gods.” Jesus also said “greater works than I shall you do.” How can one reconcile this with the teachings of the church system that you are nothing but dust?

Without getting into the origins of this ritual, which would take far too much time, lets consider the Truth hidden within the deeper teachings of The Christ as taught by many earlier beliefs dating back to ancient Egypt, Greece, Tibet, India, and Native Americans.

We are not just dust. We are Stardust. We have within us the entire power of the Universe. The Divine Spark of God (Source), IS The Christ. Why not empower the people, as did Jesus (Issa, Yeshua, Yehoshua, etc) and tell everyone the Truth.

“You are Stardust, the Divine Spark, fully empowered by God to co-create in this realm. You are a ray of God, experiencing Life through you, with you, and AS YOU. Contained within ALL beings is this Divine Spark. The “Holy Spirit.” The “Comforter.” And to Stardust, to the Divine Matrix of consciousness and energy ... the Source (God) ... you shall return.”

1 John 4:17 New International Version (NIV)

“This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.”

Be like Jesus. He and so many other Avatars have left clues and symbols, teachings and Truths, love and compassion. Do not cut yourself short as merely a “sinner.” Be the Overcomer. Be the Triumphant one. BE THE MIRACLE. You are not merely dust. You are a Divine Spark of God, the intersection of Spirit and Matter. The very cross itself.

Just a thought ...
