MYTHOLOGY TAKEN LITERALLY

By having taken ancient mythology and interpreted it as literal and historical, we have not only destroyed the deep Wisdom and teachings of old, but we have sent the world into endless wars. The Apocalypse (Greek for unveiling that which is hidden), is not the end of the world, but the end of suffering. It’s the “Revelation” of the Divine Spark of God within ALL things. The Divine, WITHIN mankind.

By literalizing ancient myths, people have violated the very Bible they defend, for it tells us “the letter kills (written word) but the Spirit (Divine/Source) brings life.” Most every religion has taken their texts literally and we find ourselves in an ongoing endless campaign of violence “in God’s name.” Understand this simple phrase and the world will change for the better: “the events in the Bible were never meant to be taken as having literally happened.” It is all mythology. None of the things the original writers left us were ever meant to be taken literally or as historical fact. Whether it actually happened literally or not, was not what the teachings were about. It is MYTH. So then, WHAT is a myth really?

The Greek word “mythos” does not mean what we have taken the word myth to mean in today’s society. It was used to describe a fable or story with a hidden meaning or lesson. Generally transmitted by spoken word. There was always a deeper Wisdom contained between the lines. It would be like telling your child a story that teaches them a lesson of Truth, yet the story never really happened. Therefore, there can be Truth in a lie ... because the underlying message was the important lesson. It was veiled under a layer of myth, and was a revelation of Truth. The unveiling ... an apocalypse.

In the book of Exodus, the crossing of the Red Sea, wandering in the dessert for 40 years, Mt. Sinai, the Walls of Jericho, the Flood of Noah, Abraham, Moses, etc., are all allegorical representations of deeper teachings. Both the Old and New Testaments are filled with spiritual allegory based on ancient myths from previous civilizations such as the Sumerians, Greeks, Egyptians, etc. Snakes can’t speak, women can’t be formed from ribs/sides, donkeys can’t talk, and neither can burning bushes.

If you don’t believe me that these lessons were not meant to be taken literally, yet they have been for centuries, just look around and see the condition of the modern world ... the LETTER kills. The Virgin Birth, Crucifixion, Resurrection, all Greek Mythology. If you were to take the Bible literally, then God is responsible for the extermination of 1.3 million people including children (excluding all life on Earth except for the 7 on the Ark) and Satan (the supposed bad-guy) killed 6 people in the Book of Job. So then, I ask you ... “who is the bad guy?” These weren’t intended as literal and historical deaths, the were allegory for thoughts, and processes that take place within the consciousness of the Mind of man (mankind). Our thought network in our head ... between the Temples!

Does this mean the Bible is bunk? Absolutely not. The ancient scriptures are filled with spiritual teachings that bring life. An abundant life. And they metaphorically describe the journey of our own lives. To go from base nature animal man, to the Divine Spark of God ... the loving, caring, and compassionate Christ consciousness. To die as Jesus (man), and to resurrect as Christ (Godman/Hu-man). One of the ancient names of God was “Hu.” By looking and seeing deeper into the layers of esoteric and metaphysical teachings contained in ancient scripture, we can see and hear the more important lessons contained within the surface story.
