Stars shining bright above me

I once believed the day would come when stars

And lights would fade enough to end the end.

But oh what fools were we when we with jars

Of sympathy believed the lies that fend.

For stars and lights and all thats bright exist

Again, anew, afresh, forever more.

To leave, to run away, is to persist

In false beliefs of sanity, just lore.

To die, they say, to cut her throat, damn her wrist,

Tis that which damns the damned and saves the saved.

But false is such a truth, though glamorous.

For truth be told the good intent had paved.

Eternity is lost on me but not

Someone like you. Or maybe thats a lot.
