The Plan

The plan wasn't to fall in love.

You were to only be a temporary distraction.

And you were only temporary... But in the midst of the distraction, time had no length, love had no restrictions, and I loved you with a hunger full of loneliness. You can only imagine how many times I've looked for you in new faces, but only at night am I able to find you. Only at night can our temporary be whole again.
