Song Bird

Your face instantly goes pale. The phone slides from your hands and hits the floor. Dabi sits up and asks what wrong. You didn’t answer . He walks over to you “baby, what’s wrong - who was that?” ..” baby, we have to leave and we have to leave now” Dabi looks confused “why” - “IF WE DONT LEAVE NOW , HE’LL FIND US” you exclaimed “who? Dabi responded. You stopped in your tracks as you were walking to the bathroom , you turn to face dabi and let out a heavy sigh “ ....Keigo. “

Keigo was you possessive & jealous ex. He wasn’t always like that, when you two first started dating he was heaven sent. He was everything you ever wanted but after about 6 months - he changed. You’re not sure what happened but he would verbal abuse you, and sometimes physically as well. He became super jealous of anyone that talked to you or something even looked your way. You ended things with Keigo after 1 year. He vowed he would follow wherever you went and kill anyone in his way.

“Where not going anywhere..if he wants a fight that’s exactly what he’ll get” Dabi says. “Baby, please..let’s just leave” “NO,& that’s final”. You knew you weren’t going to be able to talk him out of it. He makes his way to the door “where are you going?” .. “Gonna go have a chat with Mr. Hawks“ Dabi was still very weak but he refused to lose you . “If I’m not back in an hour, call shoto he’ll know what to do” Dabi walks out& locks the door behind him.

You pace the floor for 30 minutes hoping that he was okay and Keigo just give up. You end up laying down, falling asleep. You later feel a warm arm wrap itself around you but when you lace your fingers with his you know instantly that’s not dabi. It’s Keigo. “songbird, listen to me. If you want your burned boy to live you gotta come with me....quietly” you do exactly as Keigo says . He blindfolds you and put you in the back seat of a car. You drive for what seems like hours, then the car comes to an abrupt stop. “No fucking way” Keigo says angrily.

“You are NOT leaving with her” You can hear Dabi’s voice. Keigo gets out of the car & you can hear the two arguing and then the argument turns into fighting . You try to free yourself so you can help Dabi, but you can’t seem to break free. You start crying, still trying to get free . After a few moments you break free and pull the blind fold from over you eyes. They are still fighting and Keigo has broken the locks to the back doors and you can’t get out. You scream and bang on the windows. Dabi hears you and quickly glances over to you and mouths “I love you” .... You know exactly what he’s about to do “NOOO” you scream . You kick at the windows and finally it gives way and you crawl out of the window.

You try and call out to Dabi and tell him don’t do it , but he doesn’t hear you. Keigo grabs him and flies straight up into the air with dabi threatening to drop him to his death. Dabi strikes making hawks lose stability and begin to fall both still fighting. You’re scared our of your mind of what’s about to happen.

“Dabi, NO”

Dabi uses his quirk to its fulls power. You know it could kill him but he doesn’t care as long as your safe and out of harms way. Suddenly there is a blast of blue flames bigger then you’ve ever seen and everything goes pitch black.
