A LITTLE SCRIPTURAL HISTORY

A LITTLE SCRIPTURAL HISTORY

I've been researching deeply for many years just for my own satisfaction, and then I do my best to share. Most don't want me to, and others ignore it ... but I do it anyway. I'm seeking Truth and Wisdom, at any cost.

A lot of the stories in the Old Testament are in fact plagiarized material, particularly from the rich mythical heritage of the Sumerians – the inventors of writing. The story of Noah and the flood story, the creation of man out of clay, Cain and Abel, the Garden of Eden, the Tree of Knowledge, creation of Eve from Adams rib, and numerous other myths ... like Moses after he was born being put into a river ... these are all stories found recorded on Sumerian clay tablets dating 5,000 years back in time.

When The Hebrew scribes began to write down parts of their Old Testament chronicles, which they never imagined, nor planned to be a Holy Bible collection ... they unleashed the dagger of malevolence and took a stab at the superpowers of the ancient world. Namely Egypt, Sumer, and Babylon.

Everything the ancient Hebrews desperately longed for, namely a mythology with fascinating stories like that of the Sumerians, a religion with big temples like that of the Egyptians … and yes, a piece of land they could call home like everybody else, the Hebrew scribes made sure it was granted to them on the pages of what would eventually become the Bible. And in the process of making up a virtual/counterfactual history for the Israelites, the Bible scribes had to simply rewrite the ancient Near East history in a way that would make room for their tribal patriarchs to fit nicely into the narrative.

Replacing Ziusudra with Noah, Enki with Adam, Sargon of Akkad with Moses and Aten with Yahweh, (also Moses with Mises) the Hebrew scribes gave the world one of its most inconsistent and confusing books ever. In a cunning way, the Hebrew scribes, as they wrote down the scripture of their Bible, had plagiarized the ancient Near East Wisdom, and claimed it to be their own.

Is there Truth and Wisdom in there? Yes ... but it was around long before most believe it to have been. I have said it before, and I will say it again. All world religions are connected at the very foundation of the beliefs that launched them. When taken esoterically, allegorically, and metaphysically; much can be gleaned and applied to everyday spiritual life. Literally and historically, not so valuable.

Do your homework ... research for yourself. Never take as fact or Truth what ANYONE tells you, including me. Go find out for yourself. The last 100 years have opened up a wealth of rich findings dealing with the ancient Wisdom of people that were here long before we arrived on the scene.

Just a thought ...
