Taken From Forsaken

Taken from me, by the cruel selfishness of a world that marches on, were the only things that ever truly mattered.

Do the treasures we hold dear drift through our lives with fleeting purpose? Promising joy but vanishing just as swiftly? I say no.

The beauty of life lies not in a script, though a man may walk a path as if it were one.

Hold close to a forgiving heart. Appreciate life for the simplicity of what it is, and nothing more. Do not force your standards upon the world, least of all those you love. The human heart is selfish. It mistakes ignorance for malice, though ignorance is often all it is.

A man who owns nothing but loves everything cannot be robbed. Life is a prison, or a palace, depending on the eyes that see it.
