Words

I have never been good with words

Especially when I'm around you

They come out mixed up

And jumbled

Not quite making

A coherent sentence

It's stuttered and disheveled

It's improper and

It goes against everything

We were taught in English class

But I can't help it

I can't look at you

Or be in the same vicinity

As you

And make complete sentences

Without stutters and pauses

Because you're eyes captivate

Me in such a way

That my mind goes blank

And for a second I forget

How to breath but your

Piercing eyes reminded me to

Breath

But they couldn't get me to

Form sentences from

The thoughts in my head

Because just the thought of you

Sends my mind into a tornado

Of words that I can't mutter

Out in a single breath

Because my lips will betray me

And stutter

Or mispronounce something

So I use this pen and paper

To make sure

You understand that when

I stare

It's not just because I can't

Peel my eyes away from your

Beauty

But because I'm searching for

The right words to say

That can let you understand

That your smile

Is brighter then the city lights

And your nose is cuter then a pigs

That your hair is a water fall

Of softness that I want my

Hands to get lost in

Your eyes are my favorite color

And they make me think

They were stars pulled from the sky

And placed onto your face

Your skin is like fire

It sends heat through my body

When it touches mine

It's so soft and lovable

I love everything about you from

The tips of your toes

To the ends of your hair

From the nail polish on your nails

To the earrings on your ears

From the tap of your foot

To the words from your mouth

I would say all of this to you

But I've never been good

With words around you

Because I never know how

To say all the things Im dying to say
