The gift of motherhood . Refinement

It is a gift. A priceless gift.

To be entrusted with a human life it is the greatest privilege. To be able to point that life to his/hers Creator it’s the ultimate privilege. Yes the physical needs of that baby are vital but in the same time the eternal needs are forever.

This is the most refining process that one can live in this life. Parenting is huge. It is wild. Mothering is complex. The responsibilities, the expectations, the challenges, the learning, the openness, the rewards, the joys, are just endless. But as parents, as mothers we are being refined ourselves while bringing up these beautiful little humans. And as long as we stay glued to our Father, seeking His wisdom every day, we will ourselves become throughout this process the most refined and most beautiful version of ourselves.

As a mother I believe I am an instrument in the hands of God of refining my children. And as I surrender to this work, I as well I am being refined of becoming the best version of myself.

Mothering.

Sheltering.

Refining.

“Children are a reward from the Lord”.

Ultimately, God is the perfect parent and He alone can teach us what these precious lives need most…LOVE.
