THE LONE RANGER

Another Look At The Lone Ranger

The story is not true, but the principle it reveals is most important. Keep this in mind when following others stories that you may believe to be true literally, but may only be true allegorically.

The story of the Lone Ranger could very well be in the Bible, and in fact many principle tales similar to it make up the Bible that so many take literally ... and only literally.

LEARN A LESSON FROM THE MASKED MAN

Organized Religion today that looks to get rewarded from God for good works should take a lesson from the principle of the Lone Ranger. HE HELPED OTHERS, HE NEVER ASKED FOR ANYTHING IN RETURN ... HE DID NOT EVEN SEEK CREDIT.

He always arrived to help others. He never asked for anything in return. HE RODE INTO THE SUNSET AND THE PEOPLE HE HELPED, ASKED, "WHO WAS THAT MASKED MAN?"

No pay, and he never even identified himself. You see the principle here that Jesus spoke about as well.

THE LONE RANGER TAUGHT THE "JESUS PRINCIPLE."

Do not give to others for the hope of being seen or acknowledged. Whatever you do, do in secret. AND HE RODE A WHITE HORSE ... Someone else who came to help people also is seen on a white horse.

He gave freely, asking for nothing.
He did not want people to know who he was.
And he rides a white horse ...

IF WE WOULD ALL UNDERSTAND THE PRINCIPLE OF THE LONE RANGER, WE WOULD THEN UNDERSTAND THE "PRINCIPLE" OF JESUS CHRIST taught esoterically in the Bible.

Most people have a problem with this. People, as well as religions extend themselves to others so they can be recognized. RELIGIONS LOVE TO SHOW OFF and claim "they" are the right path and everyone else is wrong. Among christianity alone there are over 30,000 known denominations. Who's right?

That is not what Jesus directed us to do. Jesus made it very clear that it was not right to show off ones religion, and it was not right to do for others with the expectation of being acknowledged or receiving some favor. That was not what the Lone Ranger did and that was not what Jesus taught. In fact, the Bible says that God is not a respecter of persons ... NO favorites.

The Lone Ranger kept his identity a secret. And Jesus taught that we should give to others in secret and we should also do our praying in secret, not in front of others. To do otherwise causes much hate and divisiveness.

More, on another day.

Just a thought ...
