Saving Myself, Saving Me
I never hold hands with the enemy
I never sympathize with cold hearts
I never love without being loved
I never knew the ruin will ruin me
I never wrote poetry to the broken
I never cared for the pitiful
I was just saving myself
I never met a homeless lover
I never wore your shirt
I never saw the thin line
I never thought you care
I never brought you there
I never seem to remember
I was just saving myself
I never frightened from destiny
I never found out if you were there for me
I never imagined a world without friends and family
I never gave up when I knew it was the right thing
I never tested the waters without sinking in
I was just saving myself
