-- Maybe there’s different apes that are used in the experiment: Chimps and Bonobos. Maybe the doctor suggests bonobos because their closer genetic profile to humans makes the odds of successful hybridization better. Maybe he knows bonobos are less violent than chimps and will sabotage the end goal of the experiment: human/ape super soldiers.
