SETH AND THE PATH OF GNOSTICISM

Seth And The Path of Gnosticism

The Knights Templar were believed to be attracted to the gnostic variant of Christianity which in turn draws from pre-Christian beliefs with a heavy influence from Plato. Crudely put, the material world is a sham and through a deep knowledge (Gnosis) attained through intense meditation and a life of good, we can open the curtain to reveal the true spiritual world beyond the world of matter. Basically, a nutshell explanation. But essentially, the Gnostics viewed God and the Christian story in philosophically dualist terms – there is the human story played out here in a world of material shadows, but hidden from view is the true nature of God/Source that we must strive to discover ... the Source and origins of the material shadows.

Some early gnostics venerated the figure of Seth – the third son of Adam and Eve. According to Biblical Myth and Symbolism, Seth was born when Adam was 130 years old. Adam, incidentally, would live another 800 years after the birth of Seth. This son was given by God to Adam to replace Abel who you may recall had been killed in the Genesis story by his brother Cain. In chapter five of Genesis, you'll find that it is through Seth’s lineage that we arrive at the story of Noah and given that every other human being is snuffed out by the flood, and consequently, that makes Seth the father of humanity.

Seth had been worshiped in Judaism, Christianity and Islam – he is seen as the originator of the Kabbalah to many Hebrews and to Islamic Sufis, he was a prophet possessing great wisdom passed on to him by his father Adam. Up to the Middle Ages, there was a branch of Christian Gnosticism now termed the Sethians. Needless to say this adoration of Seth is believed to have been passed down to the Knights Templar.

The Knights Templar, and their unique history concerning the legendary Holy Grail, states that for nearly one thousand years the Knights Templar have rightly been regarded the eternal guardians of the Holy Grail, but what the Holy Grail actually is, has never been accurately revealed. It has been speculation upon speculation. Bloodline, Chalice, Womb, etc. The book "The Guardians of the Holy Grail" says that the Holy Grail existed many thousands of years before Christ, and that it is as old as the Garden of Eden itself.

During their one hundred years in the Middle East, the Templars received the Holy Grail from a lineage of Holy Grail Guardians that had existed for many thousands of years previously. This ancient Grail lineage, which included John the Baptist, Jesus Christ, Mary Magdalene, and John the Apostle, had originated on Sri Lanka, the island paradise recognized within the Arab world as the true location of the fabled Garden of Eden.

Gnostic Templar Grand Prior Mark Amaru Pinkham shows the Path, and amazing history and teachings of the world’s gnostics, alchemists, secret societies, and mystery school initiates - and its continual battle with the patriarchal adherents of the other Path. Mark begins with the Garden of Eden and the Gnostics’ First Instructor, the Serpent on the Tree, and then traces the Path down through the Sons and Daughters of Seth to the Essenes, Sufis, Knights Templar, Cathars, Freemasons and the Illuminati, as plans for the creation of a One-World Gnostic Civilization gradually unfold.

The final piece of the plan is destined to soon fall into place, when the Two Paths come to a peaceful resolution of their ancient battle and work together to create a gnostic civilization that is the union of both Paths. The culmination of human civilization will then have arrived, and all institutions and levels of society will encourage people throughout the Earth ... to complete their spiritual evolution by achieving the goal of the gnostic mandate “Know Thyself.”
