Favour

God has been speaking so much lately about favour. I can say one thing about my life. I am where I am today, I am who I am today, I have what I have today purely because of the FAVOUR OF GOD on my life. To learn to completely depend on a daily basis on simply the favour of God, it’s a long learning process. But every single time I surrender and I stop trying to earn His favour and just receive it and expecting it (especially in those moments when I know I failed), it’s THEN that His bountiful goodness is released in my life throughout the day. Amazing things just happen all around, pop pop pop and keep on popping out effortlessly. Because He can only release His devine unmerited favour when I stop all my human silly behaviour and efforts trying to earn His love or attention. But no ..God is a father. His created all the parents on this planet. He planted in every parent’s heart a glimpse of His love for their children. If parents can love their children soooo much, how much more does God love us ? His favour is free, is unmerited. We receive His favour because of Jesus. Nothing else is needed. Only Jesus. He was enough.
