Being successful

What is the definition of success? Success is a word that's definition adapts per individual. It does not tie itself down to one meaning. Success is characterized by one persons past and future. Success comes in different sizes. For some people being successful may mean waking up with a positive outlook on life. For others being successful may be to bring children into the world. Success can be from something as little as putting a smile on your face when your not feeling your strongest, to taking your first steps as a child, to walking down the isle to say I do to your best friend, to shaking the hand of the person who hands you your bachelors degree. Everyone has a road they have traveled to get where they are. Whether a person is happy, or where they want to be does not classify them as successful. Even in dark times you can find success in life. The best feeling in the world is to work so hard for so long on so many little successes to finally reach the bigger ones, and isn't that what makes it worth it all? No matter who you are, or where you are going, or who you want to be, know that you haven't come this far with out success. Instead of looking back at all the mistakes, people should be looking back and seeing the little fights they won to make them stronger and bring them to the path they are on. So don't ever let someone tell you your living your life wrong, or that you will never be successful because they don't know you, they don't know your battles. For all they know you have already conquered your largest fears, your largest battles and have come out on top. Some people fight bigger battles but some people are stronger than others. Each individual has his or her opinion on what success means, so remember that when some one tries to tell you that you are not successful. You may not be their definition of successful, but still be successful in your own definition. So what id the definition of success? It is defined as what ever you define it as.
