Vivian
"Today's a big day for you!" my father greeted as I flew to my lower level.
I took out my night retainer. I set it on the table. My fangs were still too short. I was teased at school. 'No fang!' 'Fangless!' were the more popular taunts.
"Yup, a really big day!" I said, pouring myself a glass of Faux Blood. "I get to adventure into the human world!"
I grabbed my fang paste. I used it to stick in my fake fangs. I can't eat with my fake fangs in. I have to put them in after lunch, so I also get taunted for using old vampire's tools.
I popped a bottle topper on my Faux Blood and sucked some up.
"Vivian Vampre," my father scolded, "You are getting way too old to be still drinking that 'Faux Blood'." He used fake reminders. "Vampires drink human blood, not chemicals."
I am a vampire. I say this because I plan to leave this book in the human world to reveal ourselves. I do not like how we kill humans to drink their blood. Before I continue, I need this reader to have a full understanding of me.
My name is Vivian Vampre. I am a female, alive for 120 years. At least human years. All vampires are really old in human years, for really I am only 12. I have long, maple brown hair. My eyes are an extremely rare case of blood red, black, and a shadow effect. In fact, they are so rare, I'm the only case of this eye color ever discovered.
I finished my breakfast of fake blood, supplements, and turkey. I flew up to my level and grabbed my clothes for today. Ms. Vorter said to wear something easy to change out of, so I wore a loose dress. For my hair I twisted it into a bun and wore my usual lace hair cover.
