The calling of motherhood

Being a mother is just wonderful. It’s the greatest gift from God to the woman. Never in my life I thought I will find so much joy and fulfilment in being a mother.

The world we live in sees other important jobs that important women do more appreciated than bringing a child up. I notice that wearing a work badge brings more respect from strangers than pushing a buggie. This is so against God’s heart.

Lord please turn things around, and reward mothers financially and giving them respect more than any other occupations. The work of a mother is non stop, completely self sacrificial.

It is time for motherhood to be seen at its true value. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
