DAMIAN GARSIDE

SHARK

Shark

tunneled into me

found its way

to my brain

eat a piece, scoffed a section

of my A to Z less

than dramatically

but then

there was a hole, doorway

to think about

donut aperture to

a place

beyond space, all

talk of fourth wall

where universes are

not so much compressed

as neatly folded, take

origami shape of

fish

or turtle

or thing without letter, sans name

creature not yet realizing

its best

mythical shape.
