People are free to assume

they always will

You can look someone dead in their eyes

and tell them the total truth of who you are

and still they'll believe their own interpretation. It's a human flaw, seeing something that is not there. We rather believe our own lies than the truth that is before us. Confusion becomes our reality and weakness thrives like a leech. Holding fast to dissipating dreams. When will we learn to let go that which is no longer serving us! Ideologies, people, unhealthy habits, self destructive behavior, pain. Why don't we learn to expose our wounds and learn to tell the truth, to ourselves? I believe that is the only way healing can ever take place. That is the only way we can ever learn to be free.
