-- Gluten Intolerance: A Eulogy for a Love of Beer. Article that retraces my many and varied experiences with beer that will be sorely missed following the development of gluten intolerance. Experiences include: Tennant’s Lager in Glasgow, Guinness in three different Irish cities (both coasts of Ireland), the Great Alaskan Beer and Barleywine Festival in Anchorage, Bittburger Pils in Saarbrücken, Non-alcoholic Becks in Iraq, Firestone Walker in Santa Barbara, Dos Equis with John Terninko, the noticeable transition from MGD to imports after a term abroad, home brewing escapades, Blues, Brews & Reggae in Kellogg, Idaho, my affinity for Sam Adams, etc. I ask readers to enjoy a cold one in my stead. My love of beer is survived by hard cider, vodka, and Martinis.
