Here Comes March! 😎

We are marching right through the end of February! Two months are already gone in this new year (wow) but the next month should be another 4ish weeks of awesome entertainment.

In this piece we’re talking about the new entertainment projects coming out in the next month. The projects we list are the ones we’re most excited for. For each one we’ll give an overview, list the release date and hype up the project before it hits the public. Enjoy! 😈

MOVIES🎥

Mulan🏹

The first anticipated movie for the upcoming month is the live-action remake of the musical war story called Mulan. The original Disney animated film released in 1998, and 22 years later the amazing story of a young girl fighting for her family and country is getting its live-action treatment.

This version will not feature its musical attributes nor the hilarious companion Mushu. Some fans may be upset by this fact. However, Director Niki Caro is looking to make a Mulan movie that focuses more on the emotional and intense aspects of war. Did we mention it’s gonna be Disney’s first live-action remake with a PG-13 rating!? Mulan releases in theaters March 27th.

Onward ✨

The second movie on our list is the next film from Pixar. The story is about two brothers who are elves, who must go on a magical journey. Their hope is to find enough magic to help them spend one more day with their dad, who passed away when they were very young.

The voice cast includes Chris Pratt, Tom Holland and Octavia Spencer. Along with the amazing voice cast, it’s looking like Pixar is going to deliver another magical and emotional tale. One that will leave us feeling giddy and also, sobbing tears into our popcorn buckets. Onward releases in theaters March 6th.

A Quiet Place II 😰

Last movie on our anticipated list is the sequel to the original released in 2018. A Quiet Place II picks up with the Abbott family on the run in the outside, unknown world. They will face old and new threats on their race for survival.

The sequel returns Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds from the first installment. Joining the group is Cilian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou. John Krasinski is returning to direct, while also appearing in flash-back scenes. This sequel looks just as anxiety-inducing and terrifying and we’re all for it. A Quiet Place II releases in theaters March 20th.

Ozark: Season 3 💵

Ozark is a Netflix original series that first premiered in 2017. The series is a crime-drama, that tells the tale of the Byrde family. After their move from Chicago to Missouri, the family deals with dark situations that involve money laundering, the Mexican drug cartel and other criminal elements. The show stars Jason Bateman and Laura Linney. Jordon from the Flix406 team says this is one of his favorite shows of all time. If you’re into crime-drama or just awesome shows, we suggest you give this show a watch. Binge watch the first two seasons before the 3rd one releases on March 27th.

Westworld: Season 3 🐴

The HBO original series is FINALLY back for its 3rd season, after a year and half when Season 2 premiered. Westworld is a show where you’re not always sure of what’s next or what is actually going on. The show originally started in a western-themed amusement park. It showed us the interactions between humans and robotic hosts. The sequences of the show always have the audience questioning what makes something alive or human and that is what makes it so amazing.

Certain chaotic events lead to the story reaching the outside world and that will be where the third season picks up. The show stars big names like Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Ed Harris, James Marsden and Tessa Thompson. The new season also has Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul joining the party. This show is amazing and mind bending. We can’t wait for the new season to premiere on March 15th.

MLB The Show 20 ⚾️

Baseball fans rejoice! The famous MLB game has its newest edition releasing for PS4 on March 17th. The Show is developed by SIE San Diego Studio. You can build your own career and team on The Show 20, and be able to live out your dream of becoming a professional big leaguer. The Flix406 team can only imagine how many people will buy this game literally to just beam Astros players. We’re pretty sure it’ll happen in real life as well. Hopefully though, people will buy and play the game simply because baseball is an amazing sport!

Doom: Eternal 👹

The next chapter in the Doom video game franchise is Doom: Eternal. This next chapter, developed by id Software and Panic Button Games, will be a first-person shooter thriller that has you pinned against the monstrous forces of Hell. The game will provide new and old monsters, as well as new weapons and abilities. Doom has always been a force of terror and adrenaline in the video game world. It is exciting to see the new chapter come our way. Doom: Eternal releases for PS4 on March 20th.
