Authority Of A Believer

Reading: Psalms 24

-Every good and perfect gift comes from above.

-Stewardship=Partnership

-We give of our increase. We don't give because God commands us.

-Focus of my church: Love. Grow. Help. Value honor. Honoring each other.

-The force of darkness is stronger, than in any other time, culture, or society.

-We have victory in Christ.

-We need to live at a higher level of faith. Satan will up the intensity of failure in our lives.

Reading: Phillipians 3:10

-My determined purpose is to know Him and the power flowing out from His resurrection.

-Christ in you doesn't just mean Heaven is in your future. Christ is IN you.

-There is power and authority available to us because Christ is in us. We're doing everything we do unplugged from the power.

-Life in fear, worry and confusion, leads to weakness and defeat.

Reading: Ephesians 6:12

-We don't fight against flesh and blood, but evil rulers of the unseen world.

-You can't be victorious if you don't know who the enemy is.

-Them that are for you are greater than those against you.

-Angels of God are greater than the demons of hell.

-We are doing battle with the wrong enemy. We can't blame everything bad in our life on the devil. We can't blame what choices we make on the devil.

-Forces of darkness unseen are causes of our joy being stolen. They seek to keep us away from God.

-Who's oppressing you? Jesus went around undoing what the devil has done.

-God is FOR you. He's not the author of our problems.

-Attacking the distraction, not the source. Need to attack the source.

-Your spouse, boss, circumstance are not the enemy.

-The devil is behind the depression and oppression.

-No one can fight a spiritual battle with physical resources.

-Authority of the Believer

-Children go off the righteous path. Need more discipline. Rebellious child isn't the problem.

-The devil will try to steal away our relationship with God and Jesus Christ.

-Have to use spiritual weaponry: the name of Jesus.

-2000 years ago, a baby was born. Jesus.

-Healing, hope, encouragement.

-Jesus battled with the devil. Battle of the Ages. Good and evil. Light and darkness.

-Death, hell, and the grave. Jesus defeated all of these things for us. He fought our battle for us.

-No matter what path I've been down, Jesus has already been through.

Reading: Mark 16:17

-In my name you will drive out demons. Jesus gave us power to overcome evil. Jesus' name is above every other name.

-You have the power to cast out every demon of oppression and depression.

Reading: Matthew Chapter 17

-Not waiting for life to happen and respond accordingly. There is a power of rising up and telling the devil you don't have authority over anything in my life.

-In Jesus' name, speak to the mountain. That's how you control your mind. Don't let your mind keep you.

Reading: Isaiah 26:3

-If you keep your mind stayed on me, then I'll keep you in perfect peace.

-Exercise my right as a believer. The key is to be on the offense, and consistently resist the enemy.

Reading: 1 John 4:4

-The power that's in you is greater than the power that's in him.

Reading Luke 10:19

-Behold, I give you power over all the power of the enemy.

-We get stuck when we fight what's not the source.

-How to get the devil off your back.

-You can't have authority as a believer without submission.

Reading: James 4:7

-Resist the devil and he will flee.

-Be on offense.

-We wait on the temptation to come.

1. Submit to God.

2. Offense, not defense.

3. Declare the works of the Lord in your life.

-Nothing impressive about loud and long prayers.

-Are you born again?

-Declare in your life-anything less than God's best is unacceptable to me. There are things that we have to do ourselves.

-Whatever God's called you to do, find His purpose in your life. You serve a great God; the enemy is a bully; also a gambler-gambles on us; that we will be intimidated by him.

-Declare in the name of Jesus that we are saved. We decide. Authority we have, in the name of Jesus.

-Stop being afraid.

[B]God is not the cause of our problems. The devil is! We should believe that the name of Jesus can cast out any demon that's against us. The devil is a stealer of joy and hope, and wants to see us fail. God is for us, and loves us unconditionally. The devil only wants to bring us to his side. God is the one we should believe in. He's good. The devil is evil. God should be praised, for He created us, and gave us this life, that we should magnify His glorious name and give our testimony to the world that God is our only God, and Jesus is our only Savior. There are no others to be praised!
