Genderswap Time! with Alice and Esprit!

Marshall Lee was floating in the sunlight. A Gothic, bone decorated umbrella protected his gray skin from the harmful sun rays. He wore a nice outfit (See cover) but that wasn't unusual. He always looked nice, he had an amazing knack for wearing cool outfits. As he was floating about he overheard a noise that sounded like whispering. As he began to look around it wasn't whispering, but the noise was far away. Damn Vampire senses, thought someone was spying on me, he cursed to himself. Then the light voices turned into light laughing. I know that voice! He took off in the direction of the sound.

Fionna was in the middle of telling her best friend (and sister), Cake, a joke, when she saw a figure in the distance. She turned, becoming more and more distracted. Cake noticed and looked too. There it is a figure on the horizon. “Marshall Lee!” Fionna shouted. “Oh great, just what we need right now,” Cake mumbled. Fionna went and greeted her pal. “Hehe, hey Fionna,” Marshall Lee said in a creepy manner. Fionna giggled and said hey back. “How's my favorite Good Little Girl?” he said, trying to mess with her. She acted as though it didn't embarrass her and said,” Good, did you know Gumball is having a party?”

“HA! That Gummy Prince is having a party?! Oh boy, how bad is that gonna suck!?”

“That's not cool, Gumball has fun parties”

“Psch, ya if you are into that kind of thing”

“I am, and I want you to come, so go”

Marshall Lee was shocked she said this and he blushes for second. The cute little moment is ruined when Cake grumbled, making them laugh, until the moment was so funny Cake herself joined into the laughter. As they began to talk more Marshalls senses pick up a voice. Help! Anyone, please HELP ME! Marshall turns around, thinking that the voice is coming from near by. He calls out,” Where are you!” Help! Please Help! The voices continue getting louder and louder, and Marshall becomes more frantic trying to see where the person is. He begins to float off. “Marshall Lee! Hold on! Where are you going, who are you talking to!?!” Fionna cries. But marshall is long gone, so she follows, Cake by her side. Marshall stops and Fionna begins quizzing again.

“Marshall, what are you ----”

“Sh!”

“What!?”

“I Said, SHH!”

Fionna became quiet, folding her arms, making a pouty face. The face wasn't noticed by Marshall, who stood glaring at the now silent atmosphere. Just then a large glowing purple and blue portal opens up in front of Marshall: only a few feet away! No way, Fionna thinks to herself. Before Fionna, cake, or Marshall can say another word, a person comes out of the portal. She came out so fast that her face smacked against Marshalls, causing them to have a full lip-locked kiss. The two kissers' eyes become huge, neither one expecting it, but they are mid air, no way of stopping it. In that same moment Fionna's eyes widen in horror, jealousy fills up inside.

WHAT THE F----

The girl and Marshall Lee seemed to have lip-locked for several minutes, but in reality it had been a matter of seconds. Fionna seemed about ready to cry, but she blocked it out with anger. The girl came flying out of the portal and landed on Marshall. The stared at each other, their faces only inches apart. Then the both snapped out of it, screaming out of shock they both hopped away from each other and stood, backs facing. Their was an awkward silence, floating through the atmosphere. Fionna decided to end it and stepped toward the girl. Pointing a finger, she said,”Who are you?” The girl snapped out of her shyness and turned her head away from Fionna, pointing her nose in the air and closing her eyes. “Don't point you're dirty finger at me,” she stated simply. Fionna only became more angry. What the hell is wrong with her. “Look, I'm Fionna--”

She was cut off again as a giant tentacle reach out of the portal and wrapped around Cake and her. It lifted her high in the air. It began to squeeze tightly, making it so she couldn't reach her bag and weapons. Cake was wrapped and being squeezed far to hard to stretch. Marshall Lee watched in horror as his friends' lives were being squeezed right out of them, in front of his very eyes. What do I do!? “It's after me,” the girl said, “I'll save your friends. Don't worry.” “Wait, no you need to run,” Marshall began. But it was too late, the girl had already took off towards the tentacle monster. “By the way, my name is Alice!” she shouted as she ran off.

Marshall Lee finally got a good look at the girl. She was about Fionna's height. She had on a red shirt with a black sash around the stomach. Her skirt was red and she wore white thigh high socks and little black shoes. Her skin was human pale, and she wore a Fancy Rosary on a choker around her neck. She had beautiful white hair and.. Wait, are those a cat tail and ears!??? Just then the beautiful cat girl unleashed massive claws from her black gloves. She began to battle the beast. It tried to wrapp around and squeeze her, but every time it got a hold of her she cut the tentacle off. Finally she got good leverage and jumped into the air. She slashed and cut, releasing Fionna and Cake, who fell out of its grasp.. Fionna landed on Cake and was shocked to see Marshall hadn't saved her. She turned to see the Girl cutting apart the monster until it was dead.

Marshall walked up to the girl. “Wait,” she commanded,”I need to close the portal, or more monsters will get through and attack.” With that she walked to the nearby portal. She extended a hand, releasing energy. Marshall watched in awe as Alice used magic to close a powerful portal. Slowly the Portal shrank until it was a tiny bead with the attributes of a rock. She put the portal rock in her pocket and turned to Marshall. She smiled weakly and said, “I used to much energy. I'm sorry I caused problems.” her body became weak and her legs gave out. Marshall caught her weak body as she fell. “Hold on!” he yelled. But she couldn't, just like that she blacked out.

Alice woke up several hours later. Her energy had been used up within the last few days, so she needed time to recuperate. As she lifted her eyelids she saw stars twinkling high in the sky. She was a little dazed but shook it off. Groaning from the remainder of a headache, she reach up and held her head. Looks like those people left me here, SHOCKER. Wonder how long I've been out, she spoke to herself. She let out a soft sigh, this always happens, she just lacks people skills. “Hey!” A voice says out of nowhere. Alice lets out a short scream, jumping in the air. Marshall Lee was floating above her now. That little... Who does he think he is, popping up on me like that. “Did ya have a nice nap? You've been out for a few hours,” he smirked, he enjoyed teasing people. “Ya it was really awesome, I'm completely pumped up,” She said sarcastically, with an irritated look on her face. “Well that's perfect cause now you are coming with me, too a party!” he replied, grabbing her hand and pulling her. Reluctantly she followed him.

After about 15 minutes they got to the edge of a forest lined with Willow trees as far as the eye could see. Standing at the edge was also the bunny hat wearing girl. “Ey, Fionna, Cake!” Marshall Lee yelled waving at them. Alice didn't like or get along with this girl. Not knowing what to do she linked her arm with Marshall and held onto him. He looked down at her, eyes wide, slightly blushing. He went with it. Fionna only got more mad and jealous, but she acted as though it was nothing. Together the group entered the woods.

A bunch of people were standing there getting ready for it all to start. Marshall Lee pointed out LSP (Lumpy Space Prince) and his date Bri. He pointed out Tree Trunks and Ms. Pig, along with Lord Monicromicorn (who was flirting with Cake through Morse Code), and the balloons. Then the party started. Prince Gumball began to dance and was joined by a giggling Fionna. A girl waves at Marshall and he waves back.

“Wait here, I'll be back soon. Oh, and try to enjoy yourself, it is a party,” he winked and floated off.

“Oh...K,” Alice says, and again she was alone.

“Hey Ashylinn”

“Who was that, Marshall??”

“Just a new friend I made. Her name is Alice”

“Great, I don't care, Let's dance”

Thirty minutes had passed, and Marshall Lee still hadn't returned. She looked behind her and saw Fionna and Gumball were still dancing, along with several other Aaa inhabitants she didn't know. She began to search for her new vampire friend. She went through the crowd until she noticed a circle had gathered. As she pushed her way throught the circle she finally entered the center. There she saw Marshall Lee in a heated dance with the girl he ditched her for. Wow, he's a good dancer, she paused, Meh, the girl sucks. She let out another soft sigh, and she pushed her way back out of the circle. She reached a deeper part of the forest and as the party was just disappearing from sight, she looked back. No one noticed the white haired cat girl leaving, they were all having fun. Something she hadn't done in a long time. She turned and continued walking deeper until she reached a cliff. And she peered over the ridge thinking long and hard to herself. She was so lost in her train of thought she didn't see the bright fire that was coming closer to her.

Alice was unaware of her surroundings. She sat with her feet over the edge of the cliff, transfixed in her thoughts. She saw a light growing behind her and got up slowly. They must have noticed I wasn't there, and came to find me. She let a soft smirk loose and turned as the light grew to large to be a lantern, or a search party. Her eyes widened as fire engulfed figure stood in front of her, menacingly. She took a step back not remembering the ledge. Gravity grabbed hold of her as her foot slipped over the edge. It pulled her down. She grabbed the ledge with one hand, and looked at the huge ravine below her. The light died down a bit, not noticed by her. Then a person, just barely on fire, leaned over. He wore a very worried expression “Hold on! I'll save you!” he cried out. He began to look for something to pull her up with, to no luck.

“Hurry I can't hold on anymore!” Alice yelled.

“I, I can't find anything to lift you with,” he stammered out.

“Grab me with your hand! Please I only have seconds!”

“But--”

“JUST DO IT”

he bit his lip. If he grabbed her, he would definitely burn her. There was no time to debate it, he just had to. Its burn or death. The fire boy reaches down and grabs her wrist. Steam sizzles out, and Alice winces from the pain, but endures. She then swung her other arm over to his reach. After they were able to lock arms he pulled her up. She landed on him. She just laid there, her body was in too much shock to feel anything. Quickly the boy rolled her off, as to protect her from more burns.

She let out a sigh as she laid on the grass. She gazed up at the stars and smiled.

“They are really pretty aren't they,” she says to her hero, “By the way I'm Alice.

“I'm Flame Prince,” he says.

“So you are the Prince of the Flame Kingdom” she says with a dark smirk,” Funny, I never thought you would come to my rescue.”

“I caused your accident, and I couldn't let you get Too hurt,” He replies. He glances at her wrists,. Her gloves were burnt through and the skin was fleshy and red. He frowns, feeling guilty. He continues,“I'm surprised you weren't burnt more..”

“Oh. I'm use to fire, so it shouldn't hurt or scar too much.” She smiles, trying to make him feel better.

“Why would you be use to fire?” He raises an eyebrow in disbelief.

“Well, I'm...I'm... kinda..”

“You are kinda what?”

“I come from the demon realm.....”

“You what!”

She goes silent for a while, a sad look stretches across her face.

“I'm also from the cat realm... but you can see that through my tail and ears.”

“But, that would mean you are...”

“Ya, I'm her. The daughter of the Cat queen and the Demon King. I'm a princess. And the to-be-queen of darkness” she says with a frown.

Flame Prince frowns as well. He thinks long and hard. “Doesn't that mean you have demonic powers?”

“Ya I do, but that's why I wear my Necklace. It helps me maintain them, so I don't go berserk.”

“I don't think you are evil”

Alice's eyes widen. No one has ever said that, besides mom... She thanks him for saying that. And they form a pack of friendship. The rest of the night they talk about themselves to each other. They talk about how Flame Prince couldn't go to the party, because its in woods, and he'd burn it down. And how, she has a pet demon cat, and he has a fire cat. “Oh I love Flambits!” She declared. "Tomorrow I'll let you meet some," he replied with a smile.

With that hey gazed at the starry sky and fell asleep on the lonely cliff.

Alice finally woke up, it was late morning around 11. She stretched and rubbed her eyes, sleeping on the ground isn't the best idea. She looked around for her new friend but he was no where. She sighed, this wasn't new at all, he found out who she was and ditched her. She got up and left, wandering through the forest. She stumbled upon where the party had been. People were gone but a mess remained. She shook her head and walked on. An hour passed and she had stumbled upon Fiona and Cake's house. She was tempted to knock and ask to stay, but Fiona didn't like her, and the she returned that feeling. Wandering past their house Alice stumbled around the area.
