In The Woods

“A short incident in a middle of their journey where the man gets his surprise.”

I could feel the fresh air while I took a deep breath, and inhaled in chasmic to pressure my heart to stop pounding. Repetitive of heavy breathing to absorb the moist , that was caused by trembling from nervousness while I was facing the view. Tall and narrow trees at the brink of rocky platform, and between them there was a huge gap that showed the beauty of the universe.

The deep blue sky that I could also see when I lift my face up to the clouds , and ask for some grant and luck for what was about to happen. Betwixt those two long branches, the blue sky went murky and render our eyes with a sign to be calm: a golden hour. Orange and darkest blue hues appeared while the sun shifting itself from middle to dusk.

It gave its last kindle and a romantic aura before the stars takes its place of that day. That moment, I was in my most frantic state for other’s response, however as I gaze into the view I lost myself. Each time I saw and received hope ; knowing the presence of support from above and beyond.

In midst of the woods and rocks, where I could see the world: the edifices had their lights on to which it’s glistened the hour , as the navy shade grew more to the sky while the sun and warm hues slowly disappears. I remained calm and told myself, “do not stop”.

I was wearing black layer that zipped till my midst chest covering up my grey sports garment , but exposing my collar bones and smooth rind of top chest, along with the black yoga pants. For accessories I had plane black cap, and diamond studs on ears. The atmosphere became moody and it’s cool shade was reflecting the trees and my eyes.

His eyes too. The moment he walked in the twilight.

A smirk grew on my face and the eyes with spark for a snog. He mumbled between words while I nodded to his question, “Did you call me?”. That reminded me how shaken he gets when he have to see me alone in a quite place.

I made him held the phone for capturing the horizon. The sun went to it’s rest by showing us the last glow of the day. I sighed. He walked towards me while I patiently waited for the moment. He held me the phone and it’s screen displaying his skills in photography ,while the silence roused.

Sun waned , the semi darkness sustained for that moment, the moody sky painted us in cool hue. The houses kindled that period. The instant he exchanged my device, the suitor’s eyes widen: by my fingertips holding a gleaming band.

The swain spill the secret out of her pouty lips to her beloved, “be mine”.
