Gravity

it was like when i was with you

gravity was almost obsolete

just floating around in your solar system

and when you broke my heart

you told me it was over

i fell back to earth

gravity switched on

it sucked me back down

i fell from the sky

face flat in the mud of loneliness

you made me feel weightless

nothing is the same

the burden without you here is heavy

and its a struggle to carry around

baggage on baggage

labeled with heartache,

inability to trust,

a sense of not being good enough

all because of you.

you don't even realize

you don't even see

that this pain cuts far deeper than you think.
