The Thank You

It’s easy to tell her she’s beautiful,

beauty is natural on her;

I always remind her she’s my best-friend,

She’s my favorite to do life with;

It’s effortless to tell her she looks amazing

When she’s the most beautiful thing I see;

I tell her I lover her countless times a day,

It’s impossible not to when her soul speaks to mine;

But what I don’t say enough,

what I should say to her more...

is thank you.

Thank you for stumbling into my crazy life and choosing to stay.

Thank you for bringing light brighter than those neons into my life.
