Dark Days To Come...

Woke up feeling utterly deflated because of the disastrous political result. I had hoped and prayed that we lived in a civilised, caring, compassionate society. We don't.

We live in a hell of our own making whereby the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. We've trodden the same old Neo-Liberal/Capitalist path for so long it's wearisome but yet so entrenched in our mindset that we can see no alternative.

People are selfish. We've lost that unique, innate sense of justice, equality and fairness. We've lost what it means to be a human being. We've lost what it means to be British.

I remember growing up in the 80's the wickedness of the Tories but kids voting today haven't experienced such things. Therefore it's merely the cloudy vista of the media and personal gain in which they make a judgement.

So what does that mean for people like myself? Well "billions" more welfare cuts are promised so that'll mean more deaths, more suicides, more homeless, more poverty, more destitution and more needless suffering. So whilst those who are already wealthy get even more wealthy, the poor and vulnerable swim in a sea of fear and helplessness.

Britain is cruel. Britain is heartless. Britain is beyond salvation.
