I find comfort in suffering

I appreciate its consistency the most

It never fails me, it never leaves me wondering

It always delivers.

It’s unlike the unpredictability of people

Where relevance is chosen by opportunity or convenience

Suffering knows no distance too far or no road to tough to deliver.

It’s persistence is admirable

I have grown to prefer suffering to the company of others

Because I appreciate its unwavering devotion to me
