Just my words of advice when responding to a number of people on the Owen Jones Facebook forum who seemed to think that the anxiety and stress faced by a Mother of a disabled child regarding his future was a little too zealous. In relation to the new, Facist-lite administration, the deeply concerned parent was experiencing sleepless nights, anguishing over what might befall her son. This was somehow a huge joke to a handful of those who are obviously winning at life because they sit at home in their feaces and sweat scented bedrooms, grubby hands clasped firmly around the controller as they gaze gormlessly playing Fortnite, day in, day out.

At least I was able to clue them in a bit...

We’re living in desperate times and this current administration makes the Thatcher years look like a love-in with Harold Wilson and Nye Bevan at the Durham Miners Gala. I’m a severely physically disabled adult and the screws have been turning for me since 2010. God knows what’s going to happen to us and those others on the margins of society. Nothing allays our worries whatsoever. Frying pan into the fire just about sums up our plight. To the naysayers who obviously are either on extremely high salaries or perhaps they are already millionaires then you have nothing to concern yourselves with. Although I would urge caution in posting your politically illiterate opinions on Social Media as you’re making yourselves look like complete and utter thicko TOOLS who have zero compassion nor empathy for those less fortunate. Oh, and before you go out and piss on a homeless person (just for kicks) you might want to take on board that ill health and disability doesn’t discriminate and you all may find yourselves in a less fortuitous position. Mind you, you’re all probably too brain dead to appreciate the gift of karma so at the very least you can all laugh at each other, eating slop and wheeling along the stark, grey corridors of the various institutions you’ve been thrown into. Hey, at least your sorry ass won’t cost the local council much money and the cash that’s been saved will be used to give tax breaks to the Elite! Just what the country needs eh???”*
