Young

they say "good things come to those who wait"

but what truly measures time?

a day is considered forever to a second

a week is considered forever to a day

and a year is considered forever to a week.

no matter now,

two months from now,

or two years from now

this love will still be considered young

still fresh as day

as pure as the air in our lungs

random to those those who never knew

but in my eyes this is nothing new

you make everything complete

and nobody will ever seem to compete
