In my heart I knew you could save me , but I wasn't sure if you were still listening...

Where do a sinners prayers go ?...

My past hasn't been pretty...

I thought you abandoned me...

I thought you gave up on me...

I cried , you didn't console me...

I hurt , you didn't fix the pain...

I was taken, you didn't bring me back ...

I was a little girl then and I feel she's trapped in me...

I can't let her go...

I prayed for her mostly...

Been looking for love , but no one to hold me...

I felt like you owed me !

I screamed , I cried , I pleaded...

Why couldn't you hear me ?

I gave up on you...

Because I thought you forgot about me...

Everything wasn't going right...

Said I needed to get right...

They said pray ...

I said I don't think he listens to mines...

They said pray...

And I replied okay...

I got on my knees and felt a presence so powerful , chills filled my body ...

Tears ran down my face...

You held me ...

You told me you understand...

You apologized for the pain...

You healed my hurt...

You believed in me when I had given up...

I said forgive me...

It had been so long...

The power was overwhelming...

Thank you...

I know you watch over me...

I know you listen and tho the response is not immediate...

I know that you have shown me the way when I needed it...

You pushed me harder then I push my self...

You believe in me...

And for that I love you...

You never gave up on me...

You showed me that I shouldn't give up on me...

I should respect me ...

I should protect me ...

I should love me...

I should console me...

And only then will I be able to love anybody else...
