The goodbye

I watch as your lips move nonstop

But for the first time I hear no sound

I guess I've finally grown deaf to you

Deaf to the same sad lies and excuses

For so long I craved words from your lips

The sound of you completed my day

Ironically the void from you now does the same

I'm slightly amused watching you squirm

You appear trapped as your lies fall on deaf ears

Yet I feel as if I'm being set free

The grass was greener on the other side

It was such an easy decision for you to make

Now you climb from the grave you dug

Tears I've never seen roll down your face

You reach out for me once again...

This time I won't even say goodbye

Honey, you can just fuck off and die
