Cecil & Cilla

I've been thinking a lot recently about the deaths of both Cecil the lion and Cilla Black. Trying in vain to make some sardonic comparisons between the two.

Apart from the fact that like our majestic kings of the African plains, faded 60's celebrities are something of a breed in danger of extinction. I guess bets are being taken on Macca and Ringo going toes up as we speak.

Anyway, back to poor Cecil, the true tragedy in this duo of death. Well, I can merely quote our late flame haired Scouse songstress in that,

"The unexpected hits you between the eyes".
