I’m so pleased to hear that Meghan Markle feels “liberated” in being able to speak freely now that she’s sat comfortably at ease in her multi-million dollar, palatial mansion in sun soaked California. 🤣

How I wept buckets when she was incarcerated and tortured to breaking point during her time in Guantanamo Bay...or was it Alcatraz? Quite possibly the most horrendous fate a wonderfully ‘woke’ woman like her could endure. Having to wear the orange jumpsuit alone is worthy of round-the-clock therapy for PTSD! 🤔

The entire debacle knocks everything the great unwashed has been through over the past year into insignificance. Assuredly, I’m convinced that this travesty of the justice system will be corrected. Doubtless that she’ll be royally (no pun intended) compensated, earning copious wads of cash to swell her already bloated bank balance. Not to mention the incessant quest for relentless publicity with movie/book deals, interviews, TV shows, magazine articles, guest appearances and podcasts (ok, maybe not podcasts...!) 🙄

I have no doubt that you’ll all echo my sentiments in wishing her and her family (well, the people she isn’t estranged from) all the very best for the future! 😜

Joking aside but you know what irks me especially about all this? It's the revisionism and manipulation of semantics. Emotive language is constantly being diluted to suit whatever gripe an entitled, virtue signalling celebrity tosspot wants to speak about. The implication being that they have their expensively manicured finger on the pulse of societal issues and thus, they are seen as relatable, despite clearly having no idea of how ordinary people live their lives or an understanding of the challenges they face. They claim to know how difficult things are in the world but it's merely hollow words lacking in any form of substance.

When the Machiavellian Ms Markle pipes up with how she now feels "liberated" in being able to speak her 'truth', it comes across as fake, phoney and tone deaf. Look luv, you’re not breaking gravel tethered to a chain gang, toiling in excruciating heat from dawn to dusk, so either shut the fuck up or use your wealth and privilege to make a real difference to the world. I really do wish that women who are fortunate enough to wield such clout would step back and read the room. Talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words, so put your money where your mouth is and let's see your beliefs in action!
